As I was passing the old Arakawa's, I noticed a new owner took over the sisig wagon. So I turned in the parking lot to try Dom's Chibog! Ordered the lechon plate and bulalo. The lechon plate didn't disappoint! Skin so crispy and meat so juicy. I like that it comes with a side salad called atsara. Tastes like my mom's home made pickled papaya salad! Up next was the bulalo soup. Man, there was so much beef it filled the whole bowl! The owner was so nice to separate the noodles from the soup. He also added more soup to the noodles! The soup was so tasty and rich, the beef super tender the bone just pulls right off! But my favorite part of all was the gelatinous marrow in the bone! What a way to end this tasty dish! Garanz I'll be back again to try the crispy kare kare and fried silit! Call ahead and order silit so he can make it fresh and crispy for you. The owners are so nice and friendly!

Dom took over the SW8 Dada's sisig truck a month ago. The old owner opened a brick and mortar location at the old Highway Inn next to Waipahu Town Center. It's where Pizza Hut is at. Anyway Dom has done a great job taking over and his menu has a bit more selection than the previous owner. I've tried the lechon sisig which you can ask if you just want the lechon or mixed with pig ears. I prefer the pork belly only. I've also tried the crispy kare-kare and it's great. The veggies were missing the eggplant though and he does give you bagoong for the kare-kare. But he dishes were excellent and I can't wait to try the inihaw na liempo (bbq pork belly) next. Give him a try and let me know. By the way his atsara (pickled green papaya) is bomb. Best I've ever had and I'm not a big fan of atsara. Support local small businesses!

Best combo ever for all Low carb or Keto out there.

Best combo ever for all Low carb or Keto out there. The chicken is so tasty and flavorful. It is moist not dry. They also have lechon kawali if you prefer pork. Veggies are cooked just right that makes it crunchy. On top of it all, the owner Jerome is so accommodating with customers and high caliber or customer service. It's a must try place

Everyone!!!! Don't walk. Run to Dom's Chibog !! One thing about me I love to support small businesses. So glad I stopped by to check them out. Couldn't decide between silit or bulaklak (which I've never tried before) but I was feeling risky so I went with bulaklak. They did not disappoint. It's soooo good. Super flavorful & crispy. I'll be going back to try everything else on their menu.

My go to filipino meal! Went for a round of golf, craved for some meats. Dom's does not disappoint. Very ono! Masarap! Naimas! Delicious Filipino authentic meal! Will keep coming back for more! More power!

Can't go wrong with his sisig! Super tasty! And that chicharon bulaklak just hits the spot with a cold beer. Simple street food, but brings back memories of being back home in the motherland. Service is awesome and you can call ahead for pre orders.

Front of Dom's Chibog! Food Truck

We were looking for Filipino food on our way back from the North Shore, and we chose this spot because they had crispy pork kare-kare and they had good but few reviews. We figured they were new food truck and wanted to give them a try. We ordered the kare-kare and sisig (pork belly and ears) combo plates, which were both priced well and good value. We waited 8-10 minutes for our order and ate it immediately in our car. The food was excellent! It came out fresh, well plated, and tasted delicious like a home cooked meal. They kept the kare-kare peanut sauce (thick and had real peanut butter flavor) on the side which is a great idea to keep the protein and veggies from being soggy. I dipped my lechon kawali in the sauce versus pouring it over and it was so tasty! My husband enjoyed the sisig and said it had great flavor. Filipino food can go wrong if it lacks seasoning or too much salt or msg but their dishes are balanced just right. Their portions are perfect. I saved the rest of my plate to eat later at our hotel. It was still good cold... so you know it's solid. As for the service 10/10. Manong was friendly and took great care of us! We will definitely come back and recommend to our family and friends.

It might've been the search for fried chicken to which Minasa didn't disappoint. We arrived just after opening and happened to get the last open table - after ordering, of course. The restaurant is clean and well put together with darker accents. Our food came out relatively quick - having the chef's special and ube churros. The kalbi sauce soaking into the rice was the perfect balance of flavors. Same for the calamansi fried chicken. Lechon, I must say was also a fine example of how seriously the chefs take their selection of ingredients - as I looked closer, it had the classic 5 layers (shown in my photo). Usually, this is the prime factor in the perfect roast pork - providing juicy layers of pork meat. Overall, this has been the best (new) meal we've had in a LONG time. It was so delicious, I could only wish there was a way to share this place with a larger collection of diners because frankly, if you haven't tried this place, I honestly think you're missing out on the definition of culinary art. Each dish carefully crafted with the goal of providing the best experience to all the patrons. I seriously seriously hope you all have a chance to visit. It was sure good to be back, and I am happy for their business to have its own place where customers can sit, not just takeout. They are now located near West Loch station by Mickey D's and Seafood City [the shops West Loch station). I live in Honolulu but it was sure worth it to take the rail to satisfy my sisig craving. I ordered their pork sisig with rice, and it sure was still delish! Pro tip for the business is using calamansi instead of lemon (but still good!). My order seems like it is for just one person but honestly, if you share it with another person, you'd still be satisfied because it is stomach-heavy! If you didn't have much to eat throughout the day, you could easily demolish the sisig dish I ordered. For drinks, they have canned sodas inside for $2.00 but I decided to get some smoothies at Hang's just doors down the place. As the parking spot may fill up, you can always drop a buddy off to pick up some to-go order. I have yet to try some of their other dishes such as their beef pares noodles. So--if you are craving ramen--try switching it up and get some of their noodles! I also recommend getting bulk orders for parties! Mahalo and I hope this business continues to reap success!

They have everything from bbq sticks, adobo, lechon, kilawan, lumpia and more. I got the bbq stick & chicken inasal plate. The bbq stick was packed with so much flavor! The chicken inasal was more on the huli huli side & was served with Filipino dipping sauce. They also offer free sabaw with your meal. Ordering was a little complicating, they have a menu outside with food and also more food inside. The bbq items were cooked by order and the inside food had more of the Filipino dishes like (adobo).
