I have no idea why others feel they are over priced? huh? maybe because of new management? During lunch time everyone stops for prayer time. That is right before lunch. So no big deal but just heads up. Staff is super nice. The actual store is big and lots to explore and clean. They even had a wedding dress section. I LOVE this thrift store! Plus all proceeds go to a good cause to help others! So if you ask me its a win win situation. I shall return!! Love it! So my experience was I found the prices reasonable to dirt cheap. As we parked I noticed people on their hands and knees digging through piles of clothing in the parking lot. As it was a pretty hot day, I wasn't looking forward to rummaging and went inside. They have pretty good stuff inside but the line was long and I didn't feel like waiting. When we went back through the parking lot my youngest decided to get in on the rummaging and dove in. After she kept finding treasures I decided to get in on the fun and found some great items as well. Everything was only $1 an item so it was way worth the sweat pouring from me. I found this so strange, but I know they hire people with special needs, so I didn't think very much of it. (This is also irrelevant because there are plenty of special needs people that know how to be kind.) Today when I called to ask a question about donations I was greeted with a rude worker that told me in a passive aggressive tone to "be more specific" about the type of furniture I planned to bring in. It wasn't the fact that he asked me, it was the way in which he did. A worker at a different location asked me the same question, but in a respectful and kind way. In customer service there is a way to go about things. You do not make a customer feel like they're a problem, because if you're like me, that will make me take my business to another location. All of this is extremely disappointing combined with the fact that I have applied here, have exceptional customer service skills and still have been denied. Please do better.

Some even requested just underwear that fit. Their needs were simple, and with the community donating wonderful items Bargain Box was able to make it happen. They are run by volunteers, and every penny goes to clothes for children in need. Everyone that works there is friendly and welcoming. It's so clean and inviting. This is how you run a thrift store, unlike the ones we recently went to in Lancaster, charging outrageous amounts for used things they got for free.
