I get that places need to make a profit but tripling the price from what's on the sticker is a little misleading because you're pretty much running a gamble if it's going to be cheaper online once he looks it up at the register. If he listed a game for $20 and then found it online for $5, would he lower the price? Yeah, I'm not holding my breath.

Incredibly rude/cold to anyone and everyone, a couple of the people in my friend group have had the exact same experience with him. Would be nice to be able to get a pack or two for retail every now and then. Don't buy here, don't support him. He's not in it for the love of the hobby or community, he's in it for the money.

Now that this location is closed, I can tell my experience without risk of them being fired. When I purchased a figure from there many years ago, the employee went on a long speech about membership. I declined and started to walk around the mall with my bag. I read the receipt and realized the most expensive item, the figure, hadn't been rung up. I don't like theft, regardless of if it's from a mom and pop shop or a chain. I don't know if that would have gotten him fired to let a $100 item go free, but I went back. Do better Gamestop. Membership sales shouldn't be the focus. No employee likes having to make a quota. My mom had to deal with that crap with Barnes & Noble.

This GameStop is on the second floor of the Ventura Mall. Unless he/she is swamped, the staff always greets people when they walk through the door. The staff always explains their membership and new products with patience and knowledge, and take the time to find cards or items you're looking for. Besides video games and consoles, there are plushies, T-shirts, Funko pops, and other miscellaneous items here. The store usually prices items high, but you can sometimes find good deals. Also, it's almost always busy when I come in here, so GameStop is still a happening place!
