The school has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is consistently professional, reliable, and genuinely caring. Most importantly, our daughter truly loves going to school every day. She's learning so much while having fun, and seeing her excited to go each morning gives us a lot of confidence in the quality of care and education she's receiving. That alone makes this an easy 5-star experience. Tuition is slightly higher than some of the other options we considered, but we don't mind paying a premium for higher quality. They also offer an outstanding veterans benefit: 10% off tuition, plus complimentary early drop-off and late pickup between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. That flexibility is incredibly valuable for working parents and adds even more value. We're very happy with our decision and would highly recommend The Learning Experience on Fort Apache to any family looking for a caring, high-quality preschool.

Pulled my son out of this preschool and I would NOT recommend it…read more First off, the attitude from the front desk and director changed immediately after I enrolled. It felt unwelcoming and unprofessional from the start, but I tried to give it a chance. What I can't ignore is how they handled incidents with my child. I was asked to sign an incident report about my son hitting his lip a WEEK after it supposedly happened. Then this past Monday, another child BIT my son hard enough to leave a mark on his shoulder--and I wasn't told until Wednesday. No call the day it happened, no heads up--just delayed paperwork like it's no big deal. That is NOT okay. If something happens to my child, I expect to be told immediately. The fact that they didn't communicate that in real time is a huge red flag. Then they want to be strict about their policies when it benefits them. They called me to pick my son up at 9:30am saying he threw up, but gave me ZERO clear instructions about a 24-hour policy. The very next morning (Friday), I bring him in completely fine, he had absolutely no symptoms and had not thrown up at all since I picked him up the previous morning, and suddenly I'm being turned away at the door with attitude about "24 hours symptom free." Don't pick and choose when to follow policy. On top of that, my son has barely even been able to attend because he's been sick constantly since starting--including the flu and hand, foot, and mouth--and they still expect full payment AND a two-week notice after everything that's happened. Absolutely not. The lack of communication, delayed incident reporting, and rude front office staff made this an easy decision for me. Do better. Side note: the actual teachers in the classrooms have been great. This review is strictly about management and front desk staff, because that's where the issues are.

One small piece of feedback from our personal experience is that we wish the higher-level students were challenged a bit more academically. That said, everything else about the school has been positive, and it's clear how much care goes into building such a strong, inclusive community.

She makes the class boo anyone that has gotten a wrong answer and that is straight up rude he makes us feel embarrassed to even get an answer wrong he goes and tells Mr. Martinez something that someone messed up and then they laugh about it and make fun of us. He yells at us any time we have fun for having free time. He almost hit someone in the face with a marker because he was throwing it all around and he thinks it's so funny. He took someone's property and throw it away and nothing happened. He makes us believe that we're not good enough in math. He also used someone's trauma against this girl and threatening her that he would bring out the animal that attacked her and scare her with it, which is unacceptable behavior. he makes fun of the other classes and students which is unexpectable to our learning. he makes us feel bad about ourselves and also, he makes fun of our bodies, weight, hair, everything. and he makes inappropriate remarks about students he "likes". he makes it his priority to show who he likes and dislikes. take action Doral saddle. oh and Mrs Doane she is unacceptable. She makes weird remarks about the kids. She's friends with all the boys so they get good grades she lets mostly the boys do anything. Put the girls on the other hand. We're just chopped meat. She loses our papers and things that we did something with them. And she gives us tests every single month every week just because we're bad even though it's one guy doing it. And she doesn't hear when students are causing trouble, but she hears the students that are not causing any trouble, but they get blamed, which is horrible. She is rude and disgusting to our faces and and wants us to get gifts for her because it was her birthday like no, TAKE ACTION AGAINST THESE PEOPLE

We can't say enough good things about the staff and communication. As a new mom, I was nervous to send my then-18mo old into a daycare but the teachers alleviated my concerns. I still remember the first day when we dropped him off, I received a video of him *not crying* and singing with his new classmates, within 15 minutes. The teachers work hard to take care of the children and I can feel the love they pour into each student. The staff are extremely patient. We have a picky eater and Ms. Chrissy and the teachers worked to get him to eat and really encouraged him to try new things. The teachers make every effort to get kids to engage and get along. They address all my concerns and work diligently to prepare my pre-k student for kindergarten. I love to see his writing progress and his vocabulary explode! We love all the updates and newsletters. We especially love the pictures and videos the teachers send. I love the app we use to communicate and receive updates for the kids throughout the day. While this location is small, I also think it adds to the family feel and all the teachers know the children/parents. I feel safe sending my kids to this school and do not hesitate to recommend them to future families. Honorable mentions to Ms. Kimmy, Ms. Britney, Ms. Nini, Ms. Ana, Ms. Cassie, Ms. Lauren, Ms. Sarah, Ms. Mel, Ms. Mailie, Ms. Kayleigh, Ms. Angelina and Ms. Hope.
