I had even provided photos of my daughter's hair in advance, so there was no surprise or misunderstanding. Further, the "master" stylist was very rude and accusatory when he approached me about retroactively charging us. Mind you he was the one I showed the pictures to, as well as the one who submitted the payment slips to the young women at the front desk. Changing prices after the fact is unfair and unacceptable. It also raises serious concerns about discriminatory pricing practices. Customers deserve transparency and honesty, not hidden or after-the-fact charges. I would not recommend this salon to anyone who values professionalism, fairness, and respect.

I called to ask if it could be fixed, and she just blamed me saying I was "young" or my hair was damaged. I've had perms before with no issue. I even went back with my mom, who speaks Vietnamese, and she was rude to her too. I wasn't asking for a full refund--just 50% since the bottom of my hair didn't even curl--but she refused. I needed my hair highlighted before going out of town since I couldn't get in with my normal stylist in time. I specifically picked this place based on the stylist's Instagram portfolio (Catherine Keller), who had availability at 9am, so I booked with her two days before. The appointment was booked but needed to be confirmed and since I'm no stranger to online scheduling I'm sure all she had to do in those two days was hit a button to confirm or decline. The day of rolled around and at 8:30 I called, texted, and Instagram messaged Catherine since my appointment had not been confirmed. I didn't hear back so out of respect for her time, I drove 30 mins for my appointment. I walked in and there was music playing in the back and I could hear someone talking but the place was otherwise completely empty. I wasn't about to wander around since I honestly felt like I was intruding so I called, texted, and DMed again. I sent one last message around 9:30 saying that I was still here and that I'd be leaving soon unless I heard otherwise from her. At 9:35 I got an email that they had declined my 9:00 appointment. Screenshot included. Honestly I'm just super frustrated as I really needed this confidence boost and went out of my way (1 hour round trip) to be a respectful client only to be completely ignored. This is super unprofessional and I have never seen something like this since stylists/salons usually value their time and have strict policies to protect them. If a client is able to book an appointment with you, the least you can do is confirm or deny BEFORE their appointment time!
