I was quite disappointed with the experience and results, but thankfully it's grown out since to be slightly more acceptable. The price was somewhat reasonable ($40 before tip) compared to other salons in the area (though it depends on your stylist's experience level), but looking back, I would've been willing to pay more for a better cut.

I came home with parts of my hair still damp, and ended up straightening it myself since it was frizzing. Most recently, I booked with Gianna, who was so lovely and took the time to understand what I wanted and offer suggestions. I really enjoyed chatting with her, and she did a great job with both the cut and blowdry! Overall, I recommend Dolce Lusso for a convenient, solid haircut as long as you find a stylist you like!

I started doing my research per stylist and tried to get an appointment for the ones I pulled up that I liked and they were all booked for months out. I was almost defeated until I saw the newbie on their site who had books wide open. I was super skeptical thinking if she is so available maybe she isn't good. I decided to take a leap of faith and check her out two weeks before my wedding for a trial style and I let her know my thoughts during my consultation which is required by the way. When I say Kandice ROCKED my hair I mean it. She is amazing and very sweet. The salon is clean, the staff all work together & seem to adore one another. If they don't I'm glad they know how to keep it professional. I ended up back here on my Bday which was 4 days before my 10 year wedding renewal and my stylist knew it was my bday. When I headed up front to pay I looked down into my wallet and by the time I looked up all the stylist were surrounding me singing a Lucky Salon original Bday song. Immediately after I sat down, he recommended I cut my hair almost up to my shoulders (it was down to my waist) and I said no. I asked for 2"-2.5" off my ends, some long layers and a bang trim. Nothing crazy. He showed me how much he was going to cut from a shorter section of my hair, seemed like the agreed upon amount, but instead of cutting that off my ends and keeping my length, he just cut straight across from that point pretty much up to what he recommended in the beginning. I was obviously very upset. We had to pause for a moment before he continued. I also had to tell him twice not to take any weight out of my bangs, just straighten them out. When my hair was finished, I was happy and it looked nice. The technique was there and I was relieved that it looked good but it was wayyy shorter than what I wanted. On the way home I got more upset about it and it was just not the best experience. I didn't feel listened to or respected in my choices and he made a few comments about how I previously cut my own hair. I really tried to keep calm after my hair was chopped and remained respectful, but now I'm definitely not happy about the service and how I was treated.

I walked into the salon with healthy hair and left looking like I had an unintended mullet. The crown of my head was cut extremely short, uneven, and over-texturized. Multiple stylists have since looked at my hair and told me there is very little they can do to correct it because too much hair was removed. The only solution is to wait for it to grow back. What makes this experience so upsetting is that Eric claims to have decades of experience. Based on the result, I simply cannot understand how a seasoned stylist could produce a haircut like this. During the appointment, I became uncomfortable and wanted to leave. If Eric felt that I was not the right client for him, the professional thing to do would have been to end the appointment. Instead, he continued cutting my hair. The final result was so extreme that, to me, it almost feels vindictive. That is how shocking and severe the outcome was. I am now facing many months, and likely close to a year, of growing my hair back before it can be properly corrected. Women should proceed with extreme caution before trusting Eric with their hair.
