When i initially sat down she was on FaceTime and she moved her phone like 6 times (into different positions around the table) so whoever she was talking too could see her i guess? At first i thought she was trying to record content which is ok with me but then she was showing the screen to her coworkers, im assuming so they can say hi. I couldn't understand the language. So while she was cutting and drilling my nails, she was watching her phone and ended up breaking the edge of my thumb nail after she cut them down. She didn't apologize or say anything she just put nail glue over it and continued. At this point I'm irritated because i see she's not removing my dead skin/cuticles and i tried communicating that but there was lack of understanding. I could've been more aggressive and gotten other people involved but i didn't. At this point i wanted to just finish up and leave. When she started painting i immediately regretted walking in. The paint job was pad. Lumpy, not on the edges of my nail. The simple nail art she agreed to know how to do, she did not. She had to wipe and redo several times. I stayed quiet and let her finish so i could just lay and leave. Overall the nails were $55 and i life $5 tip. I will never return here. I don't want Jenny to get in trouble, but if someone had reviewed this place, it would've helped me choose to not go. So I'm hoping to help someone else out. Avoid spending your time and money here. I am visiting from out of town, and stopped in this place for a dip manicure. While I appreciate…read morethat the nail tech tried to maintain the integrity of my nails with little drilling, my manicure is very messy. First, the service started with my hands soaking in pure acetone to break up my dip from a previous manicure. I understand that's needed, but I've never had to dip my fingers in acetone, usually it's just on a cotton pad wrapped in foil. This broke down my previous dip powder (a dark gray color), and left gray patches on my hand. The nail tech assured me she would remove it. When I told her I wanted square, she turned up her lip. I said you can round the edges if you prefer, because I know my nails are short and I'd like to maintain the length. She gave me square, and they are much shorter than I anticipated, but I understood my natural nails were short. The issue, however, is they are very uneven. Some are square, some are left wide, some are narrow, lengths don't match. Then, when all is said and done, she leaves the gray residue on my hands, there is red powder residue around my cuticles, and they overall look very messy. The chair was uncomfortable but they had nice drink options. I'm giving two stars and would likely not recommend, but for the nice drinks and maintaining the integrity of my nails. However, for $70 ($84 with tip) it's far too pricy for a bad manicure.

Unfortunately, since being taken over by the current management, my experience has steadily declined due to consistently poor customer service. I continued to patronize the salon only because the nail technician I see--who is also the owner--does excellent work. However, great nails do not make up for the repeated negative experiences I've had. There have been three separate instances of questionable and unprofessional behavior that ultimately led me to stop supporting this business. First, the salon abruptly changed its payment policy without any notice. If you were receiving two services (for example, a manicure and a pedicure), they suddenly required you to pay separately if using a card--even though the services were done during the same visit. They claimed this was to avoid being charged twice for taxes and fees, which was not true, as the receipts clearly showed otherwise. When I questioned this at my next appointment, the owner's sister became loud and condescending, publicly stating that I "didn't know what I was talking about" in front of other customers. It later became clear this policy existed because they had trouble figuring out how to compensate employees. Once they resolved that internally, the policy conveniently disappeared. The lack of communication and respect during this situation was unacceptable. Second, during another visit, I scheduled an appointment the same way I always had and requested the same service I had consistently received. The technician was rushing and told me she did not have time. When I explained that I scheduled it as I always do, I was told I should have booked a 90‑minute service--something that had never been required or communicated before. Most recently, when I arrived for my appointment, I was informed, before services started, that if I wanted the same service I always receive--SNS with a gel top coat--I would need to pay an additional $10. This was particularly frustrating because the gel top coat was something the owner herself had introduced to me, and when I previously asked if it cost extra, the answer was always "no." This time, I was simply told it "takes longer," which is not accurate, considering a top coat is always applied anyway. There was no notice of this change--just another impulsive policy introduced when convenient for them. Needless to say, I will not be returning. The attitude toward long‑time customers and the constant, arbitrary policy changes are not something I am willing to tolerate any longer. Customer service matters, no matter how skilled the technician may be. I would not recommend this salon. There are far too many nail salons in Charlotte that provide both quality work and excellent customer service, and I intend to find one that truly values its clients. This salon seems to believe it's elite because of its location, but that assumption is sadly mistaken.
