Review for light display, not for worship. Ample parking and so much beautiful, landscaped grounds to explore. We visited for the first time with friends a few days after Christmas and arrived right before 5 PM when the sun was going down (we have toddlers). Even when there was still a bit of light at dusk, the lights were visible and the audio recordings were playing, telling the story of Christmas. There are plaques amongst the displays, explaining either the various religious displays or the prominent portions of the Temple grounds and architecture. The visitors center is beautiful, the fountains and reflection pools sparkling and the light displays are unique and abundant. Glad that we made the trip to check this out. When we left at 6, it was getting very crowded and cars were circling trying to find spots I recommend going early as we did. A major plus is the bathrooms that they have specifically for visitors.

I am reviewing the Christmas light display at the temple. (Not the worship.) I really enjoyed the 85 minutes it took me to stroll the grounds and take in the HUGE display of Christmas lights! I can't imagine the months of planning and months of work it must have taken to prepare this. Families, friends and children all took their time to take photos and oohs and ahs over the visuals and audio recordings. Portable toilets are available. We didn't have an issue with parking yesterday and on the drive out, we noticed there was a stand selling hot chocolate. I would recommend seeing this, if you have never been before.

A great place to walk around, get information or watch videos on history of Mormon church. Safe, Beautiful and peaceful and for all faiths there is a visitors center and a large statute of Christ!

My review is based solely on the Christmas light display. They do such a wonderful job decorating the whole place top to bottom that it is amazing!! We went here on a date and it gives off such a loving atmosphere. They have a few displays up of the manger scene and a couple of other religious displays. They even put on a little play even though it's not entirely accurate. This place gets crowded towards school break so I would avoid it like the plague around that time. There's tons of free parking even though it may take a few minutes to find some. If you just love free lights and an enjoyable free evening, this place is worth checking out. As for the temple part of it, I have no idea...

Great place, Less than a year being in Arizona we were trying to find a family church. We found…read morethis church and only stayed for a few months. Leader DH and her husband became too involved with my family without permission and caused years of damage to our livelihood to date. This couple told me to keep giving tides and offering so that I can have a breakthrough. Sometimes I would give over $1,000 as instructed for a breakthrough when I didn't have any issues. When I pulled my family out I was still contacted by this individual who became intensely involved to the point of contacting family members I did not know and make claims that were unnecessary that significantly interfered with my livelihood and ability to rebuild relationships. This continued for over a year with false claims of concern and increase text messages. Everytime we mention this matter it appears life becomes much more difficult and false concerns approach and what we believe as misusing resources as a way to keep us quiet. It has extended even to the point of lying about family addictions that never have been part of our family's lives. This can completely destroy a person's career and calling that the Lord has put on our family as a whole and as individuals. It is a family church, but the leaders they put in charge step outside of their boundaries and damage families by forcing themselves on families who appeared vulnerable. This need closer attention as it crosses religious beliefs obsession that causes significance hardship even after you no longer attend. It may be a church culture in the area where they seek out certain profiles to manage that is not an alignment with the word of God. We are highly intelligent and successful individuals who had our lives split open because of boundaries that we did not get permission for leaders to engage in her around our lives in the lives of our children Boundaries should be respected at all times and when a family leaves the church other leaders should not continue to text message or contact anyone's family member and build a false narrative about a concern because we decided not to attend the church any longer. I was told to let God handle it and stay silent because vengeance is the Lord's...which I think is a way to just keep people quiet when speaking about matters that shouldn't occur in a church. Impacting someone's life when they do speak about these matters is actually not letting God handle it... seems like a one-sided scripture.

This was a charity fundraiser for the underserved and a fun way to get people together to support a great cause. The event opened and closed with prayer, there was worship singing, small bites and a fabulous Frugal Fashion Show. Models had to spend less than $30 at thrift shops to choose clothing to model. All of that to show fashion doesn't have to be expensive. I captured photos and videos from the show. And not slighting anyone of the models as clearly they showed how nice thrifty can look; I have to say The cutest little girl stole the show. She was spectacular! What a beautiful event for a truly worthy charity. Charity and giving are blessings for those in need but giving brings untold blessing to our heart! Be kind, be loving, be long suffering, Amen.

Just to find out, they weren't even studying the BIBLE. They were studying some other book. I followed suit. I was offered food, thank you SO much. God bless the hands that made the homemade fried rice. That woman is awesome. -the said woman I am talking about, she started speaking. I was listening to her while continuing to HOPE that this would be exactly what "I needed" .... Meanwhile. A man interrupted her VERY loudly and said "well. To the new comers, this is my FRIEND Julie" ..... his wife was sitting right next to him. Anywho. He told us all about Julie and her story. Awesome. I felt a LITTLE comfortable to speak, so I did. Just trying to relate or share? Idk. ..... when they found out a little about me & my background, it was almost as is if all the oxygen in the room had been sucked out CLEAN. By what? ...judgement. I was immediately reminded why I choose to study the Bible alone. "They were given an inch & took a mile" -some might say. (; Needless to say, I could go on about how I sat there and tried to ignore their words or expressions. As if I were some criminal they had just invited into THEIR home. .... Funny I thought I was at church? Gods house. ‍ didn't feel like it to me. With that being said, thank you. For this learning opportunity. Thank you for the food. Thank you for your judgement. I figured you all probably wondered why I came and left, maybe you thought I was homeless and needed free food. please don't stop being kind. Just work on not passing judgement to those here to make the world a better place. Thank you for coming to my ted talk. Don't worry. I prayed for you guys to read this. So I know you will -the girl "from" Tacoma Washington. Wouldn't ya know it, I had to come back on here to make sure ALL of YOU KNOW, how I was hunted down on MY OWN social media & "confronted" by a request from- God knows who (; but let's just say "BCC CHURCH" because I decided to speak honestly and truthfully about my experience. Stay safe out there, I know I am. "No weapon formed against me shall prosper." In the name of Jesus Christ, our LORD and savior. Amen. Good luck with someone who calls themselves an "elite" trying to guide a whole church. I'll pray for you. Genuinely.

There's an incredible amount of young adults that go to their church which was awesome to see. The reason I give only 3 stars is because of the children's ministry. They were super friendly when I was dropping my 2nd grader off for the first time, but when I picked him up, I was bummed to see him sitting alone and no teachers around him. I was a bit late to get him, because I was talking, but I have served at many churches and no matter how late the parents are, the volunteers do not leave the children. He wasn't the last kid picked up and completely alone, but in the 2nd grade "area" it was just him with no adults. Also when we were walking out, the person I gave my tag too kind of ignored us and when I said thanks and goodbye, she just continued to talk to her friends that were nearby. So in a way I felt like people were kind and friendly, but not as welcoming as I hoped for a first time person. Wanting to try the church again and hopefully it will feel different next time.
