I'm glad I found them! They got Chloe in right away, cleaned up her ears and inserted meds. We are not new patients so they are fully aware. His personal collar even has a medical alert. They took him back to take his bloodwork, anal glands expressed etc. I was told about 20 minutes. Instead of bringing him back to me in the lobby, they locked him in a kennel away from all other dogs without a seizure collar (bells to alert if he has a seizure). Again put him away from other dogs which means nobody had eyes on him. When he was finally brought out to the lobby 40 minutes later (double the quoted time) he was catatonic. Covered in his own pee and face dripping wet from drool. He 100% had a seizure under their care and nobody noticed. They also returned him without his personal collar so also possible they confused him for another dog and gave him something they shouldn't have. I insisted Dr. Nixon come speak with me. She agreed after seeing him again she believed he had a seizure and apologized for whatever reason nobody saw it. I was told a manager would reach out to me. I even emailed requesting they call me. Result is nobody bothered contacting me and my dog could have died under their care during a routine visit. Needless to say I will never trust them again with my baby. Careless and no follow through.

For weeks, I had tried everything I knew to help ease her irritation--scratching nonstop, patches of missing hair, clearly miserable. Nothing was working. A close friend highly recommended her veterinarian here and loved them so much that she insisted on calling to see if they could squeeze Sasha in. To my surprise (and huge relief), I was able to get a same-day appointment within the hour--which felt like a miracle. When I called, I spoke with Jerry, who was incredibly patient and kind as I explained everything I was seeing with Sasha. She reassured me and let me know Sasha would be examined by Dr. Luken, which immediately put me at ease. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted--and yes, Sasha too. Despite everything she had been through over the past few weeks, she was so excited you would've never known how uncomfortable she'd been. That alone says a lot about the welcoming environment here. One of the coolest surprises? They truly treat animals of all kinds. While waiting, I saw a bearded dragon (which honestly felt mythical )--like an iguana/lizard mix straight out of Australia. It was gnarly in the best way and reassuring to know this hospital is trusted with such a wide range of animals. You can absolutely rest assured your pet is in good hands. Sasha was promptly examined and given a clear, thoughtful treatment plan, including a shot, medication, and a prescription. Everything was explained thoroughly, and I never felt rushed. The staff here is beyond amazing--kind, warm, and genuinely caring, like family. I'm honestly not sure why this place doesn't have an even higher score, because they truly deserve it. I highly recommend Woodside Animal Hospital. They treat your fur baby like their own, and that kind of care is priceless.

When I picked him up that afternoon I asked should he not have a prescription for antibiotics? The answer was Doctor did not think he needs them. Really? A surgical procedure is done no antibiotics. I then asked should he not have a cone to keep him from licking or biting at the surgical site? The answer was Doctor did not think he needs one. Really? Two days later he has a ragging infection, sutures had popped open and skin in the surgical site area had died and was black. I take him back and they prescribe antibiotics and I am given a cone. To little, to late. And to add insult to injury I was told the dead black skin was a normal thing and it would just fall off. BULLSHIT! I took him to real vetrinarian where it was diagnosed that he had a full body infection, the surgical site had to be debrided. Once he was stabalized with antibiotics several days later surgury was scheduled to amputate his tail. So because of the lack of personal and professional skills a simple procedure that originally cost me 900.00 ended up costing me 5,000.00 to save his life. Just as painful ,no demonstration of empathy let alone an apology from the hack Janet Loken at Woodside Animal Kill Hospital.

We saw Dr. Ty Blanche, and the service was truly phenomenal. As new livestock owners, we were pretty nervous going in especially since we've never dealt with a situation like this before. Waylon had nasal discharge and a cough, which is really concerning in young goats, and we were feeling overwhelmed trying to figure out what to do (especially with places like Tractor Supply no longer carrying livestock antibiotics). From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel comfortable and taken care of. Dr. Blanche was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind. She was extremely informative and answered all of my questions thoroughly. You can tell she genuinely cares &she is amazing! Last Friday, they called me toward the END of the time window they were supposed to arrive, to say that the appointment before me took longer than expected and they would have to reschedule. That annoyed me greatly. They rescheduled for the next available appointment a week later. Frankly I felt like they should have cancelled someone else's (first) appointment to have my dog seen sooner since this was their second cancellation of my appointment. Today was the third rescheduled date. I just got a call that, sorry, they have to cancel, I should call to reschedule. What is wrong with you? I thought I'd try this place out and see what their prices and service were like. I have a vet for my other two senior cats, but I`m willing to shop around. I showed up on time and checked in. The front desk person seemed disorganized and not friendly. It felt a bit chaotic in there and it wasn't even busy. How is that possible? I gave them my coupon and waited to be seen. Waited, waited, waited. That wasn't a big deal. I have patience and I understand stuff happens. Finally I`m called back and the vet assistant is also not really friendly but I stick with the appointment. She weighs the kittens and looks over them. She tries to sell me on their pet wellness plan for kittens, which is actually quite expensive compared to the insurance I got. I didn`t want a sales pitch right away. Then she said the doctor would be in. More waiting. More waiting. At this point, I thought about leaving because we were in there a LONG time. The doctor comes in and doesn't introduce himself, looks disheveled and a wreck. I am now committed to this appointment, so I let him look over the kittens. The first thing he says is, "yep those are kittens". Then he mumbles that he forgot something and leaves for like 5 minutes. I`m pretty much done at this point. He comes in and gives a quick exam, not really doing anything at all. He says they look good and that I should get some testing(not even sure what he said honestly) and that I could get that cheaper elsewhere. Then he leaves and the vet assistant comes back in, asking if I want to schedule their follow-up. No. No, I do not. I said I need to check my schedule and I`ll let them know. We go back to the waiting room and wait...and wait some more. Painful at this point. They give me that copy of wellness exam proof, but didn`t have any other notes(because the doctor DID NOT DO ANYTHING). They give me little baggies with some cat food and a key chain with their name on it. Then the vet assistant tries to sell me on their wellness package again and seems annoyed when I said no. If this visit is indicative of what it is normally like here...hard pass. I`ll go to my other vet and get my kittens established there. Oh, to top it off, they gave me a receipt that has their wellness fee($99) zeroed out, like they gave me $100 worth of service for free. I wouldn't have paid $10 for that "service". Eeeesh.

Dr Singh diagnosed him with pancreatitis and recommended two days of Iv fluids along with three days of panoquell CA-1 injections at a cost of approximately $4000, Mike was to take Tully home at 6 pm and bring him back at 9 am for the next two days By Wednesday morning when he brought him back his condition appeared to be worsening he was showing signs of pain, weakness and overall declining health. I accompanied mike that night we had asked several staff on Tulllys condition while waiting to see him, but none of them had seen him that day. When dr Singh came in, I asked direct questions about tullys worsening condition and that he appeared to be in pain. We felt that we did not receive clear answers regarding his condition, prognosis or pain management. Tully was so weak that his staff carried him to the car On Thursday morning his health had deteriorated so severely he could not lift his head and we could barely carry him to the car, so a staff technician came out to the car to administer his final injection of panoquell CA1. We showed her that he was trembling in pain and we were now offered pain relief in the form of an Iv injection of morphine. We were told dr Singh would come to the car to discuss Tullys condition, but that conversation never took place. Before leaving I asked what we should do if Tully was not improving by the next day, we were advised to take him to the La Mesa emergency hospital By Friday Tullys condition had become critical he was crying out in pain and we rushed him to the emergency hospital . Within about 30 minutes we learned how severe his condition had become. Mike was faced with the heart breaking decision to euthanize him because he was suffering and his prognosis was extremely poor. Losing a beloved pet is devastating. What has made this experience especially difficult is our feeling that we did receive clear communication about Tullys worsening condition, prognosis, pain management option, or when emergency care should have been sought. We are sharing our experience so that other pet owners will ask detailed questions, closely monitor their pets progress during treatment, and consider seeking a second option if their pets condition continues to decline
