I had to get my car jumped just to get there and jumped on the way out. For sake of time thought it would be easier to go through valvoline instead of doing it myself on my lunch break to get to my dog in time... I'm going to attach some photos and video of what I experienced. At one point they had Isaac and 3 other employees literally trying to jam the new battery into my car. I told them you have to turn it sideways and once it is in turn it into place. I told them I could do it real quickly and Isaac told me he got this and no need to worry it's a tough job to do and you know it. Sooo tough it takes 4 people to change a car battery? Isaac leaves and tell them to put my old battery with where they are trying to jam that back in. I had to tell them they are scaring me in how they are trying to do this and please turn the battery sideways. So they finally do what I asked and battery goes right in hahah. Pull my car out and at this point I'm just jaw dropped. Isaac doesn't come back out. I literally pull the ground off with my hand because they couldn't even tighten down the posts for my battery. Not only that they stripped the nut for the ground on my battery post. Worst service I've ever experienced and I truly hope nobody faces this. Please think twice before going in here for anything. I'm going to reach out to headquarters or the franchise owner about this but needed to feel better about warning anyone else so they don't have this happen to them!!!

He always charged me a fair price which is why I respect him a lot. I've never had a BS service recommended by him. Everything is "hey, look at this" or "this is what is wrong". I called this Jiffy Lube since it was close to the location I was currently at. I needed an oil change instantly and battery check. I called and they said bring my car right over no line at all. I drove here and I must say the gentleman was super friendly, I told him exactly what I needed done, and he was on it. Took about 15-20 minutes or less. No hassle at all. He even gave me a free True Brand Fuel to try, demonstrated how to use it by saving 40 miles at most for my fuel tank. They definitely value new customers, and I have a reason to come back if I needed something done instantly. Most places will try to sell you things or tell you need to get this and that changed etc. He did check my car out and said everything was fine.

Because of that, I came back for multiple oil changes. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was completely different. I was charged a high price for what should have been a simple oil change and cabin/air filter replacement, and I ended up waiting about two hours for the work to be completed. After talking it through with someone more familiar with car maintenance, it became clear that I was likely overcharged for a job that should have been quicker and more reasonably priced. What made the experience worse was the interaction before my appointment. When I asked for clarification about being told I may need "air," EU laughed at me for asking. I'm neurodivergent and sometimes take things more literally, so I was just trying to confirm whether I was being charged for something that is often free. Instead of explaining, I felt mocked for asking a simple question. Because of this experience, I no longer feel comfortable or confident returning here. I asked ExperTec if they could get my car back to me by the end of the day and they weren't sure, however I did get my car back within a few hours. I think they're priced fairly compared to other places in the area. I like that they're open on weekends too. I'm not a mechanic by any means but I'm also super wary of being taken advantage of which happens almost every where I go. I will say they did tell me my car passed their inspection then tried to recommend a bunch of services I'd had done recently. They didn't push me to get them or try to scare me into thinking my car was going to explode if I didn't do the recommended services lol. I've recommended this place to a couple people and they've been happy too so I think they're pretty good overall.
