I call this MESA TIRE AND MORE! I have several cars and lost my "favorite" mechanic a few years ago. Now, I take all of my car needs to Mesa Tire. Yes, I have purchased tires from them, but they have done much, much more on my cars, from a new alternator, to a new crank shaft sensor, etc. I don't think there is anything that these guys cannot do and I highly recommend them for all of your car needs! Let me preface this review by stating this is my opinion. After a series of unfortunate events, I arrived here because it was the closest location where I could have my tire repaired after I discovered my tire was punctured by a nail. They obliged my request to repair the tire. I was aware all my tires had to be replaced soon, which they were eager to inform me of. I inquired as to the price of the replacement tires and they were below what I had searched for online. I was quoted a price of approximately $580 for four Hankook tires. A few minutes later (after they conveniently took all my tires off) I was informed that there was a "mistake" and the tires would cost approximately $780. This was above what I wanted to pay at the time and since I was in a bind for time and other factors I negotiated a price of $700 for Hankook tires. I waited for my tires to be replaced, but with a healthy skepticism I was being taken advantage of. When my vehicle was ready I inspected the tires. Turns out they were not Hankook tires! I immediately called them out on their "mistake" and was told that these were the same tire. However, I negotiated the deal based upon their representations at the time of my agreement. Now, I had a time crunch and could not wait an additional hour for them to cure the issue. Even if I allowed them to change the tires they could because they did not even have the tires they promised me in stock! Rather than telling me they hoped I didn't notice. Then I was told I could afford the difference "because I had a Mercedes." AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM AND WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU IF YOU LET THEM. read more

I've been to Mesa Tires twice. Last week I had an alignment done on my car. The staff was friendly and helped answer all my questions. Luis, the owner arrived shortly after and was just as attentive and respectful as his staff. On Tuesday, I noticed a lugnut was missing on the right front passenger side. On Wednesday 4/7/21 around 12:45 pm- I immediately went to Mesa Tires to see what could be done Immediately, a staff member came towards me to offer assiatance. Joe,the manager also reached out to see how he could be of service. joe and the staff were able to check ALL my tires to check for loose lugnuts and to make sure it was safe for me to drive back home. I informed Joe I was on my lunch break and didn't have too much time to spare. He was very accommodating to my situation and asked the guys to inspect my car asap! Unfortunately, they didn't have the lugnuts size needed to install them at that moment. I was informed the item would need to be ordered and would get back to me as soon as it arrived. I was very shocked to have received a text message by 4pm telling me the piece was already in! I arrived at their shop 15 min later and my car was good as new! Extremely friendly and great customer service! After driving around all day on a flat tire (oops) my tire was completely stripped. Joe explained to me how to tell that the tire was stripped next time and explained his recommendations and why. I don't know anything about tires (at all) so it was extremely helpful! Tried getting quote from the workers here , on some tires , gave me some inflated price on a off brand Goofy looking set of tires. When I laughed at the price, the guys started to try to bait me into a fight. With shock and dismay, I will never go to this establishment! The owner asked me out of his business for for asking fair questions about the status of my vehicle! As a woman who is in constant fear of being swindled in an auto shop, proved to be the worse!! We were told to remove ourselves from his place simply for asking and challenging a price quota of my car. If this is how they treat their women customers, I highly advise you NOT to waist your time or money in this business! Bad customer service. One employee told me I only had 2 minutes to make a decision if i wanted to purchase a tire or not after he checked. I repeated "2 minutes?" and he said yeah because he wanted to go lunch. After his rude response, I said don't worry about it, just put the tire back on. He then charged me $20 for checking my tire, a charge he never mentioned before beginning work on my car. DO NOT COME HERE. WAY WAY OVERPRICED. It's one thing to charge a lot of money, but if you're overcharging plus providing bad service that's just terrible. Don't trust the guys, and won't be back. I didn't realize how bad my back tire was; but it was really getting bald. I asked how much it would be to replace and could they do it while I waited. Joe said about 90 minutes. seemed reasonable. And so I offered to get him a soda while I went and waited at the Subway shop. He said he didn't need one but thanked me. about 20 minutes go by and I see my car coming out of the garage already! I brought my car in to get new front brake pads last Wednesday. It took most of the afternoon, but they were busy. No big deal. I picked my car up just before closing. I paid them for their service and left. On the way home, I could hear/feel a grinding whenever I pushed on the brakes. By the time I got it home, they were closed. The next day was Thanksgiving. My plans to visit my mom 30 miles away and help her cook dinner for the family were ruined because I couldn't drive my car to go see her. Come Friday, I took my car in to have it looked at in the morning. Late afternoon, I got a call explaining they put a faulty part on it and it will need to be replaced. This means they had my car ALL DAY before even looking at it to find out what they did wrong. The person who called me also explained that they needed to order the part from the dealership. They couldn't fix it right then, but the part should be in the next day, Saturday. I called Saturday, but the part wasn't there. No surprise. I was told to come back Tuesday. I told him I have to work but I could be there by 5:30 if I left work early. Whomever I was speaking to on the phone told me to be there at 5:30 on Tuesday and they would take care of my car. Now it's 6:15 on Tuesday and I'm at home. I left work early and was there by 5:30 like I was told. I got there, and the guys in the shop were already closing up. The part my car needs was NOT there and I was told to come back. Again. That was my third time going there just to get my brake pads done. I will have had to go four times within the span of a week just to get new brake pads. That assumes they actually fix it next time I go in. I won't be returning for future service. I've had to come back to see these idiots enough times as it is. read more

My mom referred me to this place when we found a nail in one of my tires on my trailer. I was so pleased with their customer service that I decided to bring in one of my cars for a oil change. I have going to a well known establishment for years, with mediocre customer service, at best. Mesa Tire had my car up on the lift and changing my oil within minutes. When they are finishing up they called me over to show me a leek and took the time to explain why it was bad. I have NEVER had a mechanic take the time to SHOW me. I truly did appreciated that. CUSTOMER BE WARNED: This place is unprofessional, over priced and a rip off. My car had to be taken in 3 times for an issue they never fixed. Another mechanic fixed the issue within 30 minutes at 1/3 the price. What's more he said I was CHARGED FOR SERVICES NOT NEEDED. The owner of Mesa Tire, Luis, was contacted for a refund but this did not occur. Today I received a notification from the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU the owner did not respond to them either. This is a fast paced outdoor car shop and is a place that I would recommend because I feel they are trustworthy and experienced. Joe, the manager, gave me exceptional service. They fixed my tire that had a nail in it and repaired it beautifully, and for a great deal.They might need to improve their sitting space for customers--there is no actual waiting room, but there's a few chairs, and there are a few shops and restaurants next door for a place to wait. read more

A month later the "need oil change" sign on the dash board comes up when she doesn't use her car that much! Called yesterday regarding 4 used tires for my car. The person I spoke with confirmed that they had the tires and that I could come in the following day (today). I called earlier today to confirm they had the tires, and to ask if they would still be available if I went tomorrow instead of today, in case I got off from work too late and wouldn't make it on time (My school and work schedule are super tight and my time is very limited, as most of you can relate to I'm sure). The same man who I had spoken to the day before re assured me that they would still have them. I arrived an hour before they closed and I told him I had spoken to him regarding the tires. He acted surprise that I was asking for 4 tires and told me that he only had 2 tires. After going back and fourth he said he only had 3. Absolutely no regard for my time and horrible customer service. I politely declined purchasing only the 3 tires. My son took his truck tires here, size 37 to get patched. $10 and it came out perfect. Took his girlfriends rim there for a spare tire and he was able to find a used one, but after getting home noticed it had a nail in it! Terrible! If you have a nice car, DO NOT bring it to Mesa Tire. I should have read the reviews before going there. Watched them drive the front lip of my Nissan GT-R over the end of the alignment rack which was barely too tall for my lip to clear, and then back it back off tearing my lip in two places underneath. Then lied about it and argued with me saying they didn't do it. They then removed the whole front of the rack assembly to get my car where it needed to go on the rack to do the alignment. Went back two days later to talk to the owner. He also argued with me about it. Wouldn't put my car back up on the rack because he knew it would prove me right. Even measured the front of the rack and the front of my car which showed it happened due to the rack, and still argued with me about it. Terrible shop. Very shady. Do not go there if you have a nice car........... had anyone there just admitted they did it and apologized, I would have been fine. But I hate the whole "deny til you die" thing. I like this place only because it's near my house and I can trust these guys. The reason I'm giving a 3 star is because they never open on time!!! Everywhere it says they open at 8a but every time I get here at 8 because of my work schedule, they are NEVER OPEN. They won't open until 8:15a or 8:20a, which is very inconvenient. Even when they do get here at 8, they have to take all the display tires out and set up, which takes them another 15min! I do wish the other manager (Juan) was back in this location, this was never an issue with hmm. I will try to find a different place unfortunately. read more

More than anything I appreciate their honesty and their great customer service. I just went in to get one of my tires patched and I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. I want to let let everyone out there know that Joe at Mesa Tire is my hero!! My car decided to have multiple parts wear out on the same afternoon . I called the shop and Joe assured me that if I was there first thing the next morning, that he would take a look and do everything he could to help. Sure thing, I was there at opening and Joe took my info and my car, got me to smile a little to ease my tension and got right to work. When he was done diagnosing the problems and phoned me with an estimate, he assured me that he would take good care of me and not to worry.
