I had a staple in the sidewall of my tire that was not able to be repaired. Given that my tires have about 60% of the tread left, I really wanted to avoid having to replace two tires just because one of them was damaged. I found Mesa tire shop on Facebook marketplace and sent them my tire measurements. They said they had 2 used tires with 80% tread left on them that would fit my wheels and said they would be $60 each installed. I went in today and met Francisco and Jesus (I have nothing except for phenomenal things to say about the both of them). They looked at my tire and quickly told me that they actually had A single tire that was 100% identical to the tires that I had on my car down to the remaining tread, as well as the same exact month and year of manufacture. Given that this tire was a bit nicer than the ones I had initially inquired about, it ended up being $70 installed and I was out the door within about 30 minutes of meeting them for the first time. I do not for see myself going anywhere else but here in the future when I need new tires. I cannot recommend them enough. read more

Originally, I would've given them 4 stars. They came highly recommended by a co-worker and we were in desperate need of a mechanic as we were new to the area. We brought our car to them for a series of issues and paid for over $1000 in services within our first few months of moving. We felt we established a relationship, were on first-name basis, and felt comfortable bringing our car back time and time again. They even offered to drive my husband home since the car was taking longer than expected. Here's where the 2 stars come in: When we tried to bring the car in for another issue, we primarily dealt with Randy, whom we had worked with before. He said he had to call around for parts, etc and would get back to us with a quote. Why did we have to keep calling them back to check, week after week? In the meantime, the problem with the car got worse. We finally spoke with Kenny who also gave us the same answer: we're calling around and will get back to you. They never did. If the issue was something they weren't familiar with or comfortable fixing, then say so! Don't let us drive our three children around for weeks, in a car that is possibly unsafe, when we can easily bring it to the dealer instead. Sure it'll cost a lot more, but at least the problem will be resolved. The icing on the cake: We brought our car to another mechanic who had great reviews on Yelp. They were able to identify and fix the issue with no qualms and had our car back to us in two days. BUT they also identified issues with the work we had done at Kenny's! They offered for us to bring it back to Kenny's to resolve, but we opted to just have them fix it as Kenny's lost our trust and our business. read more

Been going here for a few years, since my coworker (a guy who used to sell racing fuel to Kenny Speed's) recommended them. Lame backstory aside, I'm probably not going there anymore since I moved pretty far away; so, I figured I'd at least give them a good review for their good service as a parting gift. Definitely an old school style shop, reminds me of the places back home in NC. No frills, no crazy overhead, just dudes taking care of business. Not the kind of place to upsell you crap, and in fact they've (at least once I can remember) called me to tell me work *didn't* need to be done and thus saved me money. They gave a fair price but didn't tell me that the tires I was having put on hadn't arrived. I called the morning prior as he had asked so that he had enough time to order them but for whatever reason (which never was explained to me) this didn't happen. I sat there for 3 hours and finally a truck showed up with the tires which were put on in a short amount of time. With the exception of that miscommunication, it was a decent experience. I won't be likely to return but I wouldn't tell anyone not to go there if they needed work done. read more

Kenny is the owner. Billy, the technician, fixed a flat on my RV with dual tires on back. He said that the valve stem on the flat was corroded, hence, the flat tire. I have been to here several times and have had excellent service each time. I own a classic car and am very particular with who works on it. Each time they've done a quality job, and their prices are excellent too. I especially like the fact that the owner really knows his muscle cars and recommends certain products to get the best performance for my car. Lastly, the staff is very friendly. I'm sorry for writing a bad review but I honestly didn't like these guys. Guy that helped me at the office acted like I wasn't even important. Work that was going to be done was going to be $340 dollars. I agreed but then I walked over to prestige custom rides same work was done for $270. So I went to pick up my truck from kennys. Poor customer service, very careless is what it was! Mechanic outside was smoking a cigarette as he changed someone's windshield wipers. Wouldn't you take a break for that instead of smoking while ur doing something?? Careless! Couldn't trust them with my car read more

I'd highly recommend Kenny Speed's Shop. I found them to be fast and efficient. They were able to get the parts I needed for my car in less than a 24 hr. period. The parts my car needed were only available through the dealer. In addition, I am also a female. Everyone says if you are female, bring a male with you to a mechanic so you don't get ripped off. The staff at this shop was very accommodating and professional. I got a fair deal and got my car back in no time. I also now service my 16 year old daughters car through this shop as well. I feel confident that when my daughter drives, she is in a safe vehicle. YES there are a lot of cool cars going through this shop, but its also good for your daily driver. read more

So I buy a RV (42 foot diesel pusher) and realize I need four new tires on the thing before it's travel worthy (not cool). I decide to ask the dealer to get me a quote (mind you these are the huge 11r22.5's) and they tell me $2200. They then tell me it's going to take them a week to get the job done...this is not what I had in mind. So I do a quick Google search, find Kenny Speeds in Mesa and give them a call. They quote me $1200...seriously $1000 cheaper. Joking around, I ask them if they can get it done that day (mind you its 12:00 pm), and they say they have to order the tires and if they can get them in quickly then sure they will do it that day. At about 3 they call me and we decided to do it the following morning. All in all, the job took about an hour and a half and was seamless. This is a company that lives up to its name and values it customer service. I am extremely happy with the work they did and recommend them to anyone in the area that needs work done. I feel like they went out of their way to accommodate me and I appreciate that very much. Will be going back for any future work on any of my vehicles read more

This review is only based on my customer service experience, I will write another review after they finish their work. This shop has top notch customer service! Before I called Kenny Speed's, I called another shop that advertised they did lowering springs. I called and asked for a quote for lowering springs 3 different days, I kept getting the same response: I'll call you right back with a quote, but they never called back. Kenny Speed's called me back with a reasonable quote within half an hour after my first call to them. To me this shows great customer service and that they want my business, other shops should take lessons from Kenny Speed's if they want to stay in business! read more

I called to try and speak to the Manager, but got hung up on. Not just once either, but I called 2 more times and they all ended as they had begun---with hang ups from an employee who was having a "bad day". The problem is, this employee's total lack of customer service etiquette, has soured my experience with Kenny Speed's. Needless to say, they may well do good work---or not---but I guess I will never find out as I will take my business where I can be treated with the respect any customer deserves. read more
