We were greeted quickly with friendly smiles and went right to business. The salon is very clean, well lit and quiet; perfect for a relaxing self care visit. I had a pedi and daughter had mani-pedi. We also received bottles of water which we really appreciated after the previous errands. This place is a gem! The cost of service also provided excellent value: mani/pedi for $50! When we got there, we both checked in and I headed for the bathroom. It was clean. Mom's nail tech was running behind so we waited. After a while they had me sit in a pedicure chair, while Mom still waited. The place is bright & airy. And even though it was quite busy, it didn't feel like we were packed in their like sardines. The woman completing a pedicure for a customer in the chair next to me asked me some questions to keep me engaged. Finally, I got a male tech. Mom said she though he was one of the owners or something. Either way, I didn't wait terribly long. He was a professional. Asked me if I was ticklish, which I am. He also worked around my healing, broken pinky toe. I'm sure I'll be back when visiting Mom and she has an appointment.

I asked for a blue cat-eye design (I'll include photos for reference), but the color turned out gray instead of blue. Before the technician applied the second coat, I politely let her know that I wasn't happy with the color. Instead of offering a solution, her response was, "Well, I already did one coat on all 10 fingers." I explained again that I didn't like the color and was hoping we could fix it, but my concerns were completely dismissed. There was no effort to accommodate my request or make sure I left happy with the service. Despite being unhappy with the final result, I still paid the full price because that's what's expected of customers. I just wish that same level of accountability and customer service was expected from the business. If a customer respectfully expresses that they're unhappy before the service is finished, there should at least be an attempt to correct the issue rather than dismissing their concerns.
