My man loves greens beans but, he was willing to change it if I didn't like it once it came to the table. Ambiance~Open only Wed~Sun 5-8:00 it's located on a busy/residential street. It has very limited parking in front and, in general. You are going to have hit a few blocks (1-4 hr) because, it's a lot of 30 min parking signs on this particular street. I am not from the Horn of Africa, but I have friends who have worked there. My metric for berbere is Jara's and I make my own berbere. I think of berbere as flavored by paprika, ginger, cinnamon, coriander - warm spices, region specific equivalents, and optionally cloves. At every Ethiopian restaurant I try dishes with it. So not being from the Horn of Africa, I have no idea on their use of salt. But my preference is no. This restaurant adds salt to their berbere. I cannot think of any Ethiopian restaurants I reviewed doing that. The most beautiful foods are flavored by ingredients. Salt is not always a necessary ingredient.
