    12 oz iced latte

This is a reliable coffee shop on the plaza. I ordered a regular iced latte and it was solid, nothing special but definitely not anything bad. The service is very friendly and my drink came out very fast. The patio is such a great place to people watch during nice weather as well!

The breakfast burrito was filling and yummy. The baristas were friendly. Our food and drinks came out quickly. The inside was cute, and the outdoor seating options were nice. It was a cute little breakfast stop this morning, and I'd come again.

Beautiful coffee shop! My partner and I drink a ton of coffee and she announced this may be her favorite spot in KC now. The exterior has lots of seating options and the inside is cozy and bright. The specialty drink options were DELICIOUS, first place we've ever seen a sweet potato latte available and it was perfect. Friendly service, great food also.

This is a great spot to grab a cup of excellent Messenger coffee and to nosh on a mid-day snack. I dropped in here on a Saturday afternoon to have a breve, and my wife enjoyed an espresso martini. They had a seasonal caprese salad on a crostini toast. It was a great food experience while taking in the outdoor seating on a beautiful day. The menu does rotate a bit, so you will find some items from time to time.

Walked from our hotel to this coffee spot in Country Club Plaza. Great little coffee shop, latte was smooth and delicious. My daughter tried matcha for the first time here and loved it. The almond croissant was fluffy and so good! The staff was friendly and moved through the line fast and at a good speed. They have a lot of outdoor seating that we enjoyed. Great coffee, I would come here again when I find myself in the area.

The space is a little tight inside, but the patio is spacious if you want to stick around and the weather allows. Small little bakery case had a good variety of options, and the baristas were all super friendly.

When I come to KC for work I always make sure to see this spot. The food is great and the coffee is better. Each space is perfectly designed and welcoming.

This is one of my go-to coffee spots on the Country Club Plaza. This is the location right around the corner from Anthropologie. Street parking is tough to find, but if you get lucky the 15-min parking spots right outside may be available. I've always received friendly and quick service here. Inside typically has calm vibes. There's ample outdoor seating, but minimal indoor seating. Just keep that in mind if you're thinking about working remote here or meeting with friends. I usually end up taking my order to-go. I highly recommend ordering a baked good to go with your drink of choice (mine is always an iced vanilla latte).

If you're a KC local, you've likely heard of Messenger coffee...but most aren't familiar with the quaint location found on the Main Street of the Country Club Plaza. A perfect grab and go location for your mornings on the run when you need your caffeine fix, but quickly. There is minimal seating inside, but if you'd like to enjoy the morning sunshine with a friend, there is outdoor seating as well. The service at this location is my favorite as I've come to know the face of each barista and love catching up when I stop in. I have yet to try their seasonal options but love the creativity in offerings such as "orange creme cold foam" and "lavender honey" selections.

The coffee here is good but this location is lackluster. Small and industrial, this is very much a to go location for messenger.

I remember back in 2011 when I worked at the Nelson we were absolutely starved for a great local coffee house to open up nearby. We had Latte Land on the plaza but parking over there was always nuts and to just pop in and grab a coffee we'd often end up over at KCAI. When Crow's opened while I was away in graduate school I remember my former colleagues gushing about it - saying it had finally happened and a good shop had opened. They weren't wrong. Here we are, probably 10 years (ish) since they first opened their doors and they are still serving the need for fantastic local coffee in this part of KC. On my most recent visit I popped in for a coffee to take with me to a meet at UMKC and I was reminded at how great this spot is. While there are many more great coffee options nearby these days you can't fail to remember Crows and I look forward to my next visit!

Even with the crowd it was not noisy at all and I was able to settle in and get plenty of work done. I ordered an iced oat milk latte with an extra shot of espresso and it was delicious. The coffee flavor really came through and was perfectly prepared. The staff was also very friendly and helpful which made the experience even better. I will definitely be back.

We loved the little set up with a great amount of seating, a clean bathroom, and outlets for people who want to study or get some work done. We were a little hungry and got the empanadas and both tried the Yerba mate. We've never had the traditional yerba mate and were excited we could try it here. Once our order was ready one of the employees was happy to explain to us how to properly drink the yerba mate. She was patient, kind, and professional the whole time. There's definitely a trick to drinking it without getting the tea leaves through the straw. As we enjoyed our snack and drink we could tell the caffeine kicks in a little later. So, if you're up to trying traditional yerba mate, be aware that you'll get a gradual burst of energy a little later. I personally loved the decor and the atmosphere here. They had little knick knacks you could purchase, a small refrigerator with items to take with you as well. I got a couple of key chains for my sister and myself and my boyfriend and I have already noted that we want to come back here the next time we're in Kansas City!

I was…read moreultimately really excited to check them out though, which maybe is playing part in my overall disappointment? To begin with, Chambre Coffee is located inside of the old Westport Coffeehouse building. I have many memories of the old coffeehouse, including a first date with my now husband, so it holds some nostalgia for me. Despite that, I would be the first to say it was time for a new cafe to take the reigns in this location and after seeing so many hyped reviews I was really excited to come and see what the new spot was all about. When I pulled up I could see the new minimalist branding and I was honestly really surprised at how different the entire cafe looked inside. It's hard to describe but it somehow feels smaller, despite having way less furniture. I ordered some kind of specialty drink and sat down at a table. I have to say a big part of my lower rating is that I just didn't care for the ambiance. It was so quiet, with hardly anybody else working, that you could hear a pin drop. It just felt awkward to sit there and take a meeting like I was about to do. There is also way less seating and it just felt sort of cold in there. The old spot had its flaws, but it was nearly always busy with people studying, meeting up, reading a book, etc, it had strong coffee shop vibes, and I'm missing that here. The coffee itself was okay - I think I'd try something else next time. Overall, it was just okay. I would like to return sometime and give them another go. Maybe with a more friendly barista, and some light music in the background I'll have a different experience. Wishing this new business all the best though, and hope to return to give them another try.
