Looks like puke and sat there for three days before maintenance cleaned it up.
    Valerie F.

I've had to move from this nightmare apartment complex due to the Property Manager Peter FU. He is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever come across. He badgers and intimidates residents and issues a 60 day notice if you question why they ask for information in the re-certification process that has nothing to do with monthly income, but everything to do with determining your net value which will be monetized through securities sold on the stock market without your knowledge. He refused on at least three separate occasions to provide the phone number for Ontario Affordable Housing and then tried to force me out through an illegal action through the court. I have spoken to many other residents who have had the same experience with Peter FU. He tried evicting me through fear, but I do my homework and put them on notice for not complying with the legal requirements to do so. If you like being watched by big brother this is the place for you. I, on the other hand have freed myself from the tyranny of Peter FU and his cohorts.

Look how the new management takes care of the grass. Looks like they haven't cut it for weeks. I can't wait till my lease is up

I appreciate how much they do to upkeep the community + how quickly they respond if there are any questions or issues. The maintenance team is friendly + always on top of all maintenance issues! LOVE the fact that the apartments are modern + updated + have a washer + dryer IN UNIT! The area is mostly quiet + secluded; you will definitely hear trains + airplanes at night as we're pretty close to the airport. Make sure you give yourself a few weeks for the approval process. Plan ahead so you're not last minute scrambling to hear back. I definitely remember I called the office to check for an update multiple times in the process because I didn't give myself enough time LOL The property is also really pet-friendly! Their manager also told me flat out that they probably will use all of it for cleaning so don't bother cleaning at all, despite giving any reason why so much has to be used for it. After months of back and forth I was told that since they used the majority of it for "cleaning" they weren't planning on sending me the balance of what was owed to me since it wasn't much. I still have the emails and screenshot with timestamps of them admitting theft. The dollar amount is irrelevant, it's still MY money. They broke many laws during this process and just tried gaslighting me into letting them keep it. Horrible and deplorable.

My girlfriend and I lived here for over a year and a half, and I can honestly say that this was the…read morebest apartment complex I could've asked for. In the beginning, we were worried about the smell of manure from across the street, but I've only ever smelled it a few times throughout living here. The smell is nowhere near as strong as in other apartments in Ontario. I was also a bit surprised at the cost of rent for an apartment complex in a location such as this one, but we decided to give it a shot, and it was the best decision we've made. Pros: 1. First off, and most importantly, we have the best community manager in Maya. She truly cares about her tenants and works to make them happy. She always addresses issues promptly and takes time out of her day just to converse and get to know her tenants. She is someone you absolutely want as your community manager, as we all know how upsetting it is to have one that is rude, slow, lazy, etc. She also puts together some events occasionally throughout the year. The best one was when there was a free taco stand, pizza, drinks, and a DJ, and all the neighbors got together in the basketball court and had a good time. 2. The maintenance man, Rafael, is extremely friendly and also gets things done promptly. He works closely with Maya to determine priorities, so more urgent matters get taken care of first. I haven't had too many maintenance issues regarding my apartment unit, but every time I did, he was really nice and finished his job quickly. Even with other problems, he would be glad to help, including a time when my girlfriend needed a jump-start for her car, he didn't hesitate to help. 3. The apartment complex is well-kept, as there is a landscaping man, Felipe, always blowing the leaves, trimming the grass, and just making everything look beautiful. You can tell he works hard, even when it was 100 degrees out everyday during the summer, he was out there sweating and working hard in the heat! I never saw him just sitting around or slacking off. 4. I was initially also concerned about safety, as I was aware of a lot of apartment complexes where cars would get broken into. During my whole time here, I haven't ever seen any cars with broken windows, nor have I even heard from anyone that their cars were broken into. I felt safe throughout my stay here and haven't encountered any suspicious activity. 5. The complex is quiet. Although during the day after school, there are kids that run around and yell outside, once the sun sets and you're back from work, there is no noise. You can have a nice relaxing night and enjoy your sleep. Cons: 1. The rent could be lower, especially for a complex that is right across the street from a farm, with nothing else really nearby. My upstairs neighbors moved out several months ago, and they haven't found anyone to replace them, mostly because of the cost. It seems like they lost A LOT more money having a vacant unit for several months, rather than lowering the rent by $100 or so, or having a special like first month free to get someone to move in asap. 2. The location isn't too great. Every time we wanted to eat out somewhere decent, we would have to drive 15-20 mins over to Chino/Chino Hills/Rancho. But of course this is a con for any apartment complex in the area. 3. The balconies have small gaps between the flooring, so a lot of things can fall through, including detergent that they spilled every now and then that would drip down onto our patio. I wish they would redo the balconies such that there are no gaps in the flooring. I absolutely enjoyed my stay here, but I got a new job, so unfortunately, I have to move. Overall, I would highly recommend moving into Harris Place if you are considering it! I would seriously not waste my time writing an in-depth review like this if it wasn't worth it.

Cons: 1. Expect a major, major struggle to receive your deposit back. When I moved out, I was charged $750 for liquid damage underneath the carpet. While we did have pets during our lease here, they have never had an accident on the carpet - I would have known (and likely would not be writing this review!), and there would be some visible damage to the carpet if so, even if we cleaned it up. There would be no way to fix this damage before moving out without ripping back the carpet ourselves, the carpet wasn't new when we moved in, and property management is clearly taking advantage of us in this situation. Management would not rip back carpet unless they were already going to replace it for the next tenant. Additionally, $750 is an outrageous fee for patches UNDER the carpet with liquid damage. I have been contacting the office for two weeks to try to talk to someone about this but associates keep telling me they'll get their manager to help me out - and the manager never does. It took an angry phone call today where I stopped being professional and nice for someone to listen and actually make an appointment. It may take legal action to get my money back here, since staff is not prioritizing my concern. 2. The leasing office is incredibly hard to call / contact. Most times, when I try to call, no one picks up and I am left with a patronizing "Sorry, we missed your call" note with no way to leave a message. 3. The gates do not close, ever. Safety is a major concern - why does this community have gates if they are never in use? The leasing team answers this question by saying "technically, we are not a gated community." 4. My car was dented while it was parked in a spot and the leasing office team was not helpful at all - the associate I spoke with said that he didn't know where the cameras were located on the property. This should be basic knowledge for staff. 5. Maintenance on random amenities during peak months. During the summer of 2025, the pool near my unit was under maintenance for maybe 1-2 months. Why perform long-term maintenance on the pool during the hot summer months? 6. It is really dusty in this area. I had to wash my car way more often while living here than in my new place or in any prior apartments. 7. (About the renovated apartments) - the building materials they use are incredibly cheap. The shower tile / glaze they use gave me cuts in my hands while trying to clean it because it would flake off so easily. The counters chipped with regular use. The dishwasher in our unit was falling out of place. When we moved in, the dryer vent wasn't even connected to the outside, leaving our apartment humid and uncomfortable every time we ran the dryer. Maintenance did fix this. I would not recommend renting with Citrine Hills. Management staff can be nice and polite, but when it comes to the things that matter about an apartment, this property missed the mark for me on almost all fronts. I am so glad to be out of here.

I am writing to formally document my ongoing concerns regarding the management and maintenance of…read moremy apartment. I have lived at this property for approximately three years, and during that time I have experienced repeated issues with maintenance requests, communication, and overall property conditions. I have contacted the leasing office on multiple occasions regarding several maintenance concerns, including broken blinds, a water heater issue, a broken door, and lights that are not functioning properly. Unfortunately, many of these requests have not been addressed in a timely manner, and I frequently do not receive a return call or follow-up regarding the status of my requests. For example, when I experienced an issue with my water heater, I contacted the gas company directly. They responded the following day and addressed the problem. This was significantly faster than the response I had received from the property's maintenance staff. I have also experienced concerns involving mold in my bathroom, cockroaches, stray cats, and individuals parking in designated emergency areas for extended periods of time. The unauthorized parking has, at times, blocked access to my assigned parking area. I have contacted the leasing office regarding these concerns as well. I have also requested an additional parking space. I was informed that the waiting list is extremely long and that it could take years before another space becomes available. I understand that parking availability may be limited; however, the ongoing issue with individuals occupying emergency areas has made parking particularly difficult and frustrating. Another significant concern involves the response to the mold in my bathroom. I contacted maintenance because I was concerned about the presence of mold and expected the issue to be properly inspected and addressed. Instead, the maintenance employee sprayed what appeared to be a degreasing product on the affected area and stated that the mold was not toxic. During the interaction, I was repeatedly told that the issue was not considered a maintenance emergency. I understand that not every maintenance request constitutes an emergency, but my concern is that the underlying condition was not properly evaluated or resolved. I am also concerned about the professionalism of the leasing office. During telephone calls, I have experienced situations where employees appeared to be laughing or carrying on conversations in the background while I was attempting to address serious maintenance and housing concerns. I have also experienced interactions that I felt were dismissive and unprofessional. I am requesting that management take these concerns seriously and provide a written response regarding the status of my outstanding maintenance requests, including the broken blinds, door, lights, and any remaining issues with the property. I am also requesting that the mold concern be properly evaluated and addressed rather than simply treated with a cleaning product. I have made multiple attempts to communicate these concerns through the appropriate channels, and I would like to have a clear record of my requests and the steps that will be taken to resolve them. Thank you for your attention to these concerns. I would appreciate a timely written response and an update regarding when the outstanding issues will be addressed.

Stay away from this apartment complex…read more The biggest issue isn't the apartment itself--it's the lack of transparency and the unwillingness to accommodate residents when problems arise. Before signing our 18-month lease, we made it clear that we would eventually have two vehicles and asked to be placed on the waitlist for a second parking space. At no point were we told how long the waitlist actually was. After moving in, one person told us we were 10th and then we found out we are 23rd on the waitlist. Management's only solution? Pay $10 every single night to park in visitor parking until a space becomes available. That's roughly $300 per month on top of our rent, even though we were fully prepared to pay the normal monthly parking fee for an assigned space. Had we been told the truth about the parking situation before signing, we would have made a different decision. This is the kind of information prospective residents deserve to know upfront--not after they've signed a lease and moved in. We tried to work with management, explained our concerns, and asked for reasonable accommodations. Unfortunately, we were told there was no temporary solution other than continuing to pay daily parking fees while waiting behind 22 other people. If you're considering living here, ask every question you can about parking and get the answers in writing before signing anything. In our experience, management was not transparent about the reality of the parking situation and not accommodating when we asked for help. I cannot recommend this community based on our experience.
