Alright so me and my wife have been eating here every now and then for a year and it is definitely one of our favorites places. The staff is always friendly, the food is amazing, and the main reason why i love it......consistent. We all have those restaurants that have great food but have their bad days. So far i have no encountered a bad day. So whenever we eat here we always get the same thing. We split a bomb chicken sandwich and the Cubano with chips. She recently tried the pablano soup which she loved and i get the cannoli for a dessert. This place will continue to get our business. read more

Excellent dinner. The bistro burger is spot on with the balsamic reduction and aioli. I thought it was creative and it all tasted made from scratch, but not overwrought like some Applebee's monstrosity with sauce and weird embellishments everywhere. Ambience is nice, low lighting, soft music, pleasing decor. The waitress was so nice and professional! Nice little dinner spot. We will be back. read more

Great Cuban sandwich. They also have a great kids meal. The beef hot dog comes with a cream puff to which is really delicious. If I were you I would come and enjoy this bistro. read more

Food was pretty good, had the philly. Service seemed a little short staff so don't expect quick service. Tried the grilled asparagus and that was pretty tasty. Would of given it a 4 if service was better, and a 5 if they acknowledged when we walked in. Don't get me wrong, the food is pretty good but sometimes that not good enough. read more

Hidden gem in Andover! Service has always been really good. My favorite dish is the salmon with arugula salad. They have a handful of wines. My only complaint is that the white wine glasses are chilled like beer glasses & I'm not a fan of a frosty glass of wine. Definitely go with nice weather & enjoy your meal out front! read more

I was hesitant given that nothing about Andover is Metro. The decor reflects this as it's more like tired 80s than hip modern. But that's not why you're here, now is it? The food was what I think of as excellently mediocre. They're trying to be more creative and it shows, and it almost even works. But not quite. I got the impression that the ingredients and execution weren't quite up to the ambitions. All of that aside, it's nice to have something a little different, and I would WAY rather eat here than the Applebee's across the street. We will probably be back because, ironically, Andover lacks the options of somewhere more... metro. read more

If you want to waste your money this is the place for you. Metro Bistro in Andover is not worth your time or hunger. I ordered takeout and was very disappointed to find when I got home that the white wine sauce was actually red olive oil and the chicken looked like overdone pancakes; flat, brown and flavorless. If you like your steamed vegetables undercooked and bland then try the asparagus. As for the bread, the doughboy can offer you better in the frozen section of you favorite grocery store. Unfair business practices. I was given a gift certificate from the Waterfront Metro Grill the day before they closed. I am told when I call that it will not be honored because different owners bought it. When you buy a business, you buy all that comes with it and that includes honoring gift certificates. read more

We've been eating at Metro grill for almost a decade. Started in the mall. The andover one doesn't quite make the vip pasta with all the ingredients but still great. They messed up or order a few times but all in all, 4 stars. read more
