I'm very unhappy with both the service and the customer service. I brought in a brand-new, expensive pair of white formal pants to be dry-cleaned and shortened. When I received them back, the pants were no longer white--they had a pinkish, off-white color. When I brought this to the owner's attention, they refused to take responsibility for the damage. I have been going to Metro cleaners for over 25 years. I was in shock when the Wong's retired. They were amazing people! Over the years I have sent so many friends and family to support them. Today the male, possibly the owner that was working was super rude and basically called me a liar. I've been to the location at least 3 times since the new owners took over, always dealing with a female. The first time the male owner was in the background and the female owner welcomed me and was very kind. It seemed like they had just taken over. I trusted them with my items and didn't bother looking at my clothes when it was given to me. I've never had to inspect my clothes after dry cleaning. I didn't have an issue with any of the items I took to clean there until this weekend. I went to wear a faux leather skirt that I still had in the dry cleaning bag. It had been a few months but everything was left as they gave it to me. It had gross sticky stuff on the skirt and I wasn't able to wear it, which was disappointing. It wasn't super horrible but I noticed it. I took the skirt and another item to the cleaners today and explained the situation, thinking they would try to make it right. The person working who might be the owner, couldn't find me in the system so he tells me I didn't get it cleaned there. He gave me an attitude and said he has never seen me therefore I've never been to Metro Cleaners. Amazing logic Mr. Chin who wrote "I appreciate all of the long time customers and look forward to welcoming and building relationships." on this Yelp intro. How I'm I suppose to know who in your business dropped the ball and didn't add me. He was frustrated maybe even misspelled my name. I think I would remember a place if I've been going to for over 25 YEARS! I told him I was offended by his remarks because I have no reason to lie. If he wanted to charge me for the item because it's been so long, I would have understood and paid for my item to be cleaned. ZERO customer service skills by this person, he was going to clean it but kept telling me I got it cleaned somewhere else. I gave him the opportunity to apologize but he kept telling me I haven't been there because he would know. He could care less that I was offended and that he called me a liar, At that point, I no longer trusted him with my business. I took my items and left super appalled by his attitude toward a person who wanted to given them another chance. I will never do business with them and will inform my friend and family to stop support this location. It's a shame that such bad business owners had to take over a much loved location for all of us. I would give you zero stars if I could. I brought my brand new puffer jacket which costs $1.500, they totally ruined it!!!!! I wore my jacket once and now it's unusable! There are blue stains all over my white jacket!! I hope you can fix the issue if not, I will claim the cost of my jacket. I work for a high end luxury retail boutique, and this place has never failed to go beyond my expectations. My clothes are always clean, and I don't know why some of the other reviewers have left a bad review. My dress shirts and suits have never been damaged, lost or not cleaned on time like some of the reviews says. BRING your clothes here if you want clean clothes done on time! Mr. Wong and his wife run a great business here. Super friendly and fast! I've gotten pants hemmed here, a queen sized comforter cleaned, several silk blouses, men's shirts all taken care of here. Never disappointed with the service. Cheapest around for getting comforters cleaned too. They even cleaned my huge area rug for only $40! Btw, $10 minimum for Credit Cards. There is a Wells Fargo in the same lot if you need it. Shirts cost about $3 each, pants are $8 I think. read more

Each one has turned out exactly as requested for half of what I was quoted at another cleaner down the street! They turned them around within just few days as well. The people working at Metro Cleaners are always really nice, the prices are good, and their hours are great. They're open until 7pm on weekdays and until 6 on Saturdays, which is fantastic - even with my long work hours I could usually make it there to pick up my clothes on time. My issue is that sometimes they just didn't do that great of a job cleaning my clothes. Half the time everything would come out fine, but the other half the time I'd get pieces back that were still wrinkly, were smelly or had food crust or other dirt that should come off right away with even the most minimal cleaning, or had wonky creases ironed in. Time to find a new dry cleaner. read more

This place is exactly what I want in a dry cleaner. They are the cleanest I've seen. They are professional and really appreciate your business. They have a quick turnaround also. They can even dry clean and have things back the same day. Great job with alternations. The place in the mall quoted me $34 for a simple dress hem and Metro Cleaner did it for $8!!! The problem with dry cleaners in OC is they think they can just charge an arm and leg and get away with it. Metro Cleaner is actually reasonable with their prices and do just as good, if not better job than, any where else. I'm not affiliated with them at all, I just found them because it's close to my work and have been going for almost 5 years. I have been using Metro Cleaners for over two years largely out of convenience. I lived in NYC for years and have always tried to patronize my neighborhood vendors --but enough is enough! About 85% of the times I pick up my laundry my clothes are still dirty. This past week, after having a skirt recleaned a second time, a new stain appeared that had not been there at drop off! The girl who works there even admitted that for some reasons my clothes never get clean ...but offered nothing in terms of recourse. If you do use this facility I highly recommend scouring your clothes to make sure they are clean before bringing anything home. Good luck! read more
