They will split your appointment into two talking about deep cleaning, take you to the front office to check with the insurance. The front office staff will print out a statement showing you that insurance covers both services, and you get to pay for anesthetic which is $10. The day I went for the second cleaning I had to wait for a long time because of technical difficulties. I got done and I could not pay the $10 and the lady said they would call me the next day. The following day, a call came in right at the time when they were to about to close, and a statement had been sent of $200 plus. I called and somebody stated they had closed, I asked why the statement was sent after close time if she had nobody to answer my questions, she told me to pay tthe $10 then would have billing look into it. She explained that they call insurance, but they do not know what will be covered. First of all when they sat down with me on the initial visit and informed me that insurance would cover everything that was a LIE. The staff on the line said, I should wait for the claim to come back, and they do not know the timeline, alternatively I could just pay the statement balance $200 plus, they lied to me, falsified information and just wanted it paid, this is like STEALING from people. The only resolution being offered was, I am sorry. They know very well that if you do not pay, after a certain time you will be taken to collections, spoil your credit and still get paid. This is very unfair to people and I think most people do not even check how much they are being told to pay and they just charge the card, and continue falsfying information. Save yourself the headache and get a genuine, trustworthy place.

They're all friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It's so fun to hear the staff laughing and having fun while you're there; it's clear that they like each other and doing their job as a team. When I called to ask, they just dropped United Heathcare a week prior to my appointment and failed to mention this when I gave them my insurance card at the beginning of my appointment. I then got a piece of mail a week later saying I could pay for a membership and would get the in-plan pricing. Money hungry and unethical. DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR DENTAL NEEDS. I responded with a request to cancel my appointment due to my dental insurance expiring. Laine, the Practice Manager, responded to my cancellation request to say that Droel "always verifies benefits/eligibility before your scheduled appointment" (with many typos). She also specifically told me that I am covered for the next ~8.5 months based on the Delta Dental benefit calendar. She ended her text with "You are definitely eligible to come in :)" About a month after my appointment, I was again contacted via text to say that "the plan we had on file seems to have terminated which has left a pretty hefty balance on your account" of over $1,000. This is extremely frustrating given what I mentioned above. I trusted Droel to be the experts on dental insurance coverage since it is something they deal with on a daily basis, but instead I'm left wondering if they are dishonest or downright predatory toward their patients on purpose. Despite their negligence on this issue, they refused to offer me any sort of concession on my balance due, and even threatened to send it to a collection agency. On top of this, their quality of care is severely lacking. Wait times are extremely long for any sort of procedure beyond a routine cleaning, which leads me to believe that the doctor, Andy is stretching his practice too thin. I've also had to have multiple follow-up visits to fix sharp edges and uneven fillings, further reinforcing that Droel only cares about volume and not patient satisfaction. While I'm fortunate enough to be able to just pay this balance and avoid any further conflict, I'm afraid that this is not an isolated issue with Droel Family Dentistry, and that their subpar level of care could lead to a significant financial burden for others. I hope this review does something to combat that. Neither I nor my family will be returning to Droel Family Dentistry for any future dental care needs.

The staff here are so kind, friendly, understanding, compassionate, and just fun! They always put me at ease, talk me through everything before and as its happening, and value my voice in the process. The office seems small when you walk in, just a little waiting room with a few chairs and one bathroom, but the back is actually quite large with multiple cleaning and procedure rooms. Everything is clean and tidy - the bathroom even has a pump mouthwash if you want to "freshen up". At my most recent cleaning I ended up needing a cavity filled. They were able to squeeze me in right then so I didn't have to schedule for another day and the procedures was super quick! They started with a numbing gel on my gums so it wouldn't hurt when my injected the rest of the numbing mediation, waiting patiently until I was fully numb and then got to work. They also kept checking in with me every step of the way. I 100% recommend this dental office to everyone!
