I had heard about the Metro and had the opportunity to try it recently. One and done! Everything we ordered had a ton of salt. Social distancing not up to par. Waitress busy but didn't bring the requested ketchup, sweetener. Annoying Loud music made it hard to have a conversation. read more

Arrived at 10:30am and there was a 10-15 minute wait. Not a big deal. It was Labor Day and a lot of people had the day off so it was busy. We we seated in about 10 minutes. Waitress came right over and took our drink order. She was very friendly. She returned in a couple of minutes with our drinks and took our food order. While waiting on our our food, I observed how the bussers were cleaning the tables. They were wiping tables down with the same rag, pushing food onto the floor. I watched one busser wipe down 3 tables with the same rag. The second table was very messy with syrup and whatever. She then used that rag to wipe another table. The restaurant, overall, looked clean. Not so sure about the tables. Our food was brought out in about 12 minutes. My burger was very good. The fries were barely warm and over salted. No one came back to see if everything was ok or if we need drink refills. I hope our next visit is better. read more

We have eaten breakfast here several times and it is always a great experience. The decor is very cool. The wait staff is always very friendly and super attentive. I absolutely love Metro. My brother and I go there pretty often. The servers are always polite and attentive. I've never had a server who had a sour attitude. After ordering, you get your food incredibly quickly. The variety of menu options makes this place great, whether you're craving pancakes, a nice juicy burger, or a sparkling mimosa with your omelette. Everything on the menu is great! I've never had a bad meal. If you go on the weekend, there might be a little bit of a wait. Just be prepared. Definitely one of my favorite places to frequent. read more

The first time I went here, the food was delicious. The second and third times, the food was horrible! The second time was a 70 dollar waste of money! We carried out and everything was cold and the meatloaf made me very sick. The third time we decided to try the breakfast. The hash browns tasted like the frozen kind you buy at Walmart, the biscuits and gravy were flavorless and the waffle tasted like the frozen ones you get from Stanz. We love this place! Now, I can't speak to the entire menu, because we always get the chicken and waffles and the All-American burger. The chicken is spicy and crispy and goes so great with the waffles, strawberry butter, syrup and hot sauce. The burger is also super delish! Oh my god!!! So amazing! Went here looking for a quick bite after a hockey game at Notre Dame- soooo good! You MUST try the cheesy tots. The picture doesn't look like much on the menu- but they were to die for! Fried chicken - delicious. Waffles- amazing. Burger - so good! Fish and chips- best we've had in a long time. We came here for breakfast. It was ok. My pancakes were good but I was shocked how much the coffee was. It was $4.78 for two coffees. The waitress didn't come back around to fill our cups until we already paid. The pancakes were a good size but cost $9.99. We barely saw our waitress. She gave us coffee, food and bill. So if we wanted anything else, you had to wait for her to come by at one of those times. I would of liked it more if the service had been better. Other than that it was ok but next time I'll drink coffee at home. read more

The food quality here is amazing. Lots of choices with the option to get anything at anytime of the day. Service was great on 1st visit, wife and I went on a Friday morning for brunch. However we went again on a Sunday morning during the pre-church rush and we had a bad visit. Kitchens got backed up and the manager had to order the plates and servers around like a drill sergeant just to try and keep the flow going. Several orders were done wrong and ours got lost in the shuffle. Total from sitting down it took 45 minutes to get food to table. Meanwhile, party of 6 sat down 10 minutes after we did got their food and finished by the time ours was brought to us. We moved to SB almost 2 years ago and always was by here when we went to petco we didn't ever stop cause it was always busy but one day we stopped in they was super busy BUT there was no wait their food was to die for i got the B&G one of my fav food if a place has them i always get them and try it out if its good they pass my test well since then we have been back a few times every time the food is great an it always came out fresh and super fast compared to some other places! we will keep going back staff is amazing always friendly . read more

Totally unexpected experience. Just decided on a whim to check this place out and it was booming! Went for brunch on Saturday morning and every seat was filled. Didn't have to wait long to get a table because the kitchen is FAST! The menu is diverse and unique yet features the classics done with a whole lot of love! Great place to eat. Great service. Food was wonderful. Seating was full as soon as someone left the seat was taken. Four of us had different orders and they all were excellent. My only suggestion is that they have specials that are not on the menu, written on a chalk board , staff needs to make that known. Place was packed for Sunday dinner. Server was helpful and enthusiastic. However the food here is very heavy -- lots of gravy, fried stuff and rich sauces. The few salads were ordinary. My shrimp and grits were drowning in heavy white gravy and the grits were hard fried cakes. But the amount of shrimp was generous. Not a place for healthier eating (like vegetables!)
