So Cal Express Car Wash actually has employees who assist you with paying for the wash at the machine and guiding your vehicle onto the belt. When you pull up to the wash, you will see a sign that directs you to put your car into neutral; the wash does the rest. If you check in on Yelp, they also provide you with free paper air fresheners. They are small squares that you can leave inside your vehicle in strategic locations. Instead of the paper air fresheners, you can opt for the dash wipes. I noticed my car had these scratches on both door sides of my car as well as some of the body and it was at night so it was able to stand out also the drapes that are suppose to clean it just leave a dirt residue and doesn't even clean the car properly I don't really care if it did a bad job at the wash my main concern was that it scratched my car bad this was the first and absolutely last time I stop here at this location I've taken my car to car washes and this has never happened but this place was my closest option very upset with the performance of the machines. I know it's not just me because I checked the Yelp reviews with all the same problems.I called today and was told I would get a call back but never got a call employee was nice though. FAST & EASY I usually go around 1:30pm during my lunch hour and there is never a line!! You drive up to the machines. You read all their different packages. Their cheapest basic wash is $6. You put your money directly into the machine & it dispenses your change along with the receipt. There are even techs that will walk you to your window to help explain their different pricing options! They always throw in some free car air fresheners!! Super nice!! Idk why ppl get upset when their car insist 100% clean. These are machines! I originally wanted to leave a great review because in the grand scheme of things it's a great convenient service and the unlimited washes with a monthly plan are awesome too! But the more I think of my car (which I usually don't), it's gotten all of its damage due to their machines and predominately on the right side. My antenna cover was broken off, my right automatic mirror doesn't close anymore and the rear right chrome pillar on my car snapped off. All these things I didn't notice til I got home and say "oh well". Car also has hard water stains. read more

I am very impressed with the car wash. Since it was my first visit, I got the lava wash which was $15. My car and my tires looked brand new and very neat. Ordering the extreme lava wash will also include a half-off price on the next visit within two weeks from the wash. I didn't expect it to be amazing since my experience with other drive-thru car wash areas has been sub-par. So Cal express car wash is the real deal and absolutely worth the buck. NO VACUUMS!!! We are shocked at the 4 star ratings! We purchased the "Ultimate Hot Lava" package. As we traveled through the automated washer, it seemed very thorough. Lots of soap. Plenty of scrubbing brushes and the "tire bling" At the end. Upon exiting we searched for the outlet to the stalls with the vacuum cleaners. Ummmm - they don't have them. One handicap parking spot and one regular spot - that's all there is - to wipe down all the residual soap and spots and water this place leaves. The only redeeming factor was the hand towels they provide to wipe down your car. Steer clear of this place. Not worth the price. read more

Don't be deterred by the long line. That line you always see is just another reason to show why it's great. The line does move fast so don't worry about it. It's quick, easy and gets the job done! They're also very reasonably priced and the drive thru car wash works well. They do give out free air fresheners which are surprisingly really strong! Not only do you get a free air freshener with every wash, but if you get the one of the top two tiers..your receipt will come with a 50% off code for your next wash! They also have towels on the side if you want to park on the side afterwards to wipe down those last minute stubborn droplets. I have found that they run out of towels sometimes but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it's not the end of the world to me. I do wish they had a vacuum station but that's something I just can't change! I got the basic opinion but, they have upgrades available to include tire dressing, wax, etc. Friendly young man helped with purchase from machine and guiding you into place for the wash. Overall I'd rate this car wash a 4 because the prices are cheap and the wash you get is worth the $. I like that if you get a $14-15 wash you get a code for 50% off your next one. They hook you up with air fresheners that keep the car smelling good for at least 2 weeks. The only reason it's a 4 is because I wish they'd have better dryers. The wash overall is good it cleans my car but drying the car is always a hit or miss. Sometimes it'll be dry mostly or sometimes it'll be damp. They have washes where they claim the dryers give a higher power than normal but I feel like if I'm paying for a wash no matter the wash the dryer should be the same amount of strength no matter what so there's no water spots. But everything else is golden that's the only issue I have. read more

So Cal Express has been my go to car wash for the past 2 years and I don't see myself changing places any time soon. The SCE team here is great! Every time I pull up to the machine to get started, they are always near by to assist me with my car wash purchase. The car wash it self is great, I have not had any problems with any of the machinery damaging my vehicle. The one feature if I love is the Tire shine, because it actually shines my tire! Their happy hours can get busy in the morning and some times at night, but its not a big concern to deal with it, especially when you are saving money. I would give this place a 5 star review but my only problem with this place is its limited parking spaces. They offer microfiber towels for those who want to dry their cars but with limited parking, sometimes parking on the side of the street is your only option. Besides the limited parking situation, I am totally happy with this place and their customer service. read more

This place is so quick and there are assistants at the entrance to explain the different washes available and at the entrance of the car wash to guide you into the machine. It's $13 for the Platinum wash or $15 for the Lava wash which is better because it has a wax coat. You'll have to bring your own rags to dry the few drops left that the vacuum doesn't get. But overall the process takes 5 minutes if there is no one in line. I recommend to go early, I visited at 8am and it there was one other customer. I used to come here a lot a while back, and went back today since I didn't feel like driving out to my new usual spot. The wash itself is alright, but my car always comes out with tons of water drops on the front windows and mirrors. I either have to dry it off by hand or be okay with the water marks when it dries up. This spot also doesn't have vacuum stations like other drive thru car washes, so you'd have to pull over to the side or wait til you get home to dry it. read more

Went to this car wash based on yelp reviews and I so regret it!!! It was horrible! I went for happy hour and paid $9 for the $15 lava wash I was expecting at least a "good" car wash so not the case! Went to get a $6 express wash only to find out that they do not offer free so it yourself vacuuming like the other express places & there is literally only two open spots to park your car afterwards to dry off. And they are usually always taken, which then forces you to either park it on the street or just drive with your car wet. Attendant was super nice and helpful though. Won't be back though. read more
