A Dimond wash will set you back $38ish . The Express Wash in considerably less. I wanted the interior clean so I did Dimond. Staff were friendly. And they did an excellent job on my vehicle. The was is over 50 years old and it showed. At one time it and most every car wash had gas islands. The last set of pumps remains in place abandoned. The metal roof above is deteriorating inside the waiting area is a mix of eras the beverage coolers are sparsely stocked. Given the proximity to Starbucks. Good communication l, they always let me know if it's a long wait. Their quality of cleaning is pretty decent,. I paid $35 for a Diamond wash which is pretty standard for a hand wash only car wash and on a full size SUV. It amazes me how everyone is complaining about the price, if it's too expensive go to an automatic car wash location or wash yourself. I go to hand wash only car washes as they are a bit easier on the clear coat. Running a business in this economy has lots of people expensive, employee pay, rent, insurance, etc.... I'm back here again. This car wash is not the usual hectic back to back business. Here each car is attended to carefully and given time and attention it deserves. Don't go for the ratings you see. I used to go to Los Osos car wash but switched to this one, since it is much better. There's nice shaded seating, snacks and drinks to purchase, today they had free apples :) The crew is polite and respectful, they take time and are not rushed. The reason I gave only 3 stars and the only thing I would recommend is that they clean up their facility. Especially the outdoor patio area, it's very unsanitary. I requested the mini detail for my vehicle. Although I am content with how clean the inside is, the person cleaning my car failed to disclose that the letters for the vehicle make/model had been damaged and peeled off during the detail. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee and the "Cherokee" logo is nearly completely peeled off. If I wasn't trapped in between cars, I would have left! Also, a regular wash is $24.99 and the cashier (every customer) never gave the change. It eerks me to no end that the change is not offered (even if it's just .01 cent). There should be no doubt that you give change and a receipt. Let the customer refuse the change. I brought my vehicle in to get washed after 1200 miles of road trip. Not only did they do A great job cleaning the vehicle but did something that I feel is above and beyond. I had prepared a tip and had I ready in my pocket with the receipt for when he was done. After paying attention to every detail and making sure it was all clean he waved me over. I thanked him, gave him his tip and the receipt. i then went to get lunch. When I went to pay for lunch, I realized that I gave him the wrong stack of bills as a tip. So instead of $10 I had given him $250. I debated going back and explaining what happened to see if I could get my money back. I have been going here for years and never had a problem. And if it wasn't for this happening i would keep going back. This last time I went on Nov 12th I had to get my trunk vacuum and the guy told me to leave the trunk open. I never expected to get my car back and to find the trunk doesn't close all the way and is crooked on one side. Upon closer inspection I seen that the right side door hinge was bent out of shape and you can see the scratch marks on the inside of the car. From what the shop told me looks like they might have backed into something w the trunk open and that is how it got bent out of shape. Given that this place is small I highly doubt they'll pay for the repairs they didn't even bother to tell me about the little accident I had to find out when I got home and someone pointed out my trunk wasn't closed all the way. So for that reason I chose to post on here and let y'all know to make sure u watch them vacuum your trunk and then close the trunk before you walk away inside because now I have a unnecessary 350$ repair bill that I know for a fact they wouldn't even try reimbursing me for and now I have to look for a new car wash unfortunately. I've been coming here for a while I had never had a problem. But yesterday it was the scariest day there, as I watched my car roll by out of the car wash YES my car rolled out I looked and said my there's no one driving my car, I got up to go stop it because the workers ran to the machine instead of stopping my car first, there was a car there that my car was going straight too, thw Woker quickly closed the door of the other car and scratched mine, I Saw this happen in front of me. When I approached the manager he tried to brush it off and not speak to me, he never came to speak to me I had to request to speak to him, when he finally came out he said they didn't so that, and explained that if it would of hit the other car it would of hit my front plate which does not even make sense. He continued to say I brought my car that way. Yet when it happen he kept trying to avoid me but why Right? I was like okay It's a scratch but the fact that they know my car rolled out they took no accountability for the scratch for it rolling out or anything. I came here to get a detailing of my car, which they provide. as seen on their website. The moment I got there I tried telling them that I wanted the super detail package, but the staff kept brushing me off and telling me just to buy the $20 cleaning and that it would do the same mind you that the super detail cost about $150. I got the basic cleaning done as they suggested and I've never seen such half ass cleaning done on my car before. Less than zero stars. I have been going to this car wash for over 20 years. The wash has always been just adequate nothing great but a decently clean car at a decent price was had at the end. Today, I waited longer than I ever have and when my car was done, it was still dirty outside and inside. Also, my console was scratched. When I tried to address my concerns with the manager, I was met with denial over the console and told it was impossible for it to have happened for various reasons. Then I was told to talk to the owner. When I approached him to speak to him he was hostile and rude. He actually told, told me to go get the manager, as if I was his employee. The owner then proceeded to become increasingly upset with me and raise his voice. The owner offered no solution. Not even an apology. Not even common courtesy. Their solution to my dirty car was to wash it again. I didn't have another hour to wait and really didn't want them touching my car ever again, so I agreed to free carwash coupon that I will never use because I'll never go back.
