I wanted to replace my 18-year-old contractor grade Bryant furnace that had a small issue in the cold winter of 2016, so I had four contractors come in to give me quotes. Metro gave me the best in terms of practical sales, price and best of all, five (5) year labor warranty on a 70K BTU 96% two stage with an ECM motor Rheem. When I saw the 5 year labor warranty, I emailed Dave the salesman to say that I understood that Metro had a very high level of confidence in its products and services but that I wanted to make sure that it was not a typo. Dave replied back to say that the 5 year labor warranty was not a typo and that Metro does offer the 5 year labor warranty on heating and cooling products it installs! To make sure that Metro was really what it appears on its website, I drove to its office location and drove around it and verified that the place is nice and clean and its work trucks are good looking! So I quickly set up the installation schedule of 9/25/2018 with Micah. The installers Nick and Mike called me when they were on their way to my house and they came on time as promised by Micah. Mike and Nick have done a great job removing the old furnace and installing the new Rheem! They also brought long covers for my wood floor so it did not get dirty. They even swept the utility room floor, even though I said they did not have to! I could not have been happier! They were great! We bought are house last spring and wanted a routine maintenance to be done on it this October before it got to cold. A red tag was put on the boiler and were we stuck without heat. After a few other quotes we meet with Metro. They were one of the best priced quotes we got. When we scheduled them to replace the boiler it was during a cold spell, so every heating company was booked for maintenance calls. But their scheduler was able to get a crew together to come out earlier to get our heat going. They came and worked past the business hours to get it done. My wife was so happy! Our house has heat and the process and working with them was great! And a funny note, I was calling the list of companies we got quotes from to tell them we went with someone else. I was not thinking and called Metro to cancel. The lady was a bit confused and asked me multiple times if I was sure. I was not connecting the dots that I had called Metro, even though she said so. I canceled the appointment for them to come and replace my boiler. But not 5 minutes after this Dave, who I had been working with calls me and ask if I meant to cancel. I realized my mistake and said no. To which point he thought it was in error and he had the scheduler keep it on the calendar until he was able to confirm with me. That saved me from an unhappy wife! Do you want prompt, professional service with a real human-speaking voice answering the phone if your furnace breaks down? Well, Metro Heating is the place to call. My furnace was going off and on and sometimes remaining off for long periods resulting in the house being cold. I called a company advertised on TV that promised quick service with free service call. After calling the number on the TV and all three numbers on the web and leaving two voice messages just after 12: MD with no response, I called Metro (where I previously had service). I explained that I did not want to pay the after-hour cost. Brian, was at my home in about an hour, inspected the furnace, told me what was wrong, and the cost of part/installation prior to installation of the part. My home quickly warmed up and being a senior, I got the senior discount. Well, as I told Brian, we really do get we what we pay for. The company that advertised free service calls did not return my call until after 5: 30 PM--almost 6 hours after I called them, and after my furnace was fixed and I had ran an errand. This means that I may have had to pay the after-hour charge or wait for service the following day or perhaps longer. My pilot went out on my hot water heater. Marcus Kelly came out and figured out what it was in about 15 minutes. It was one of those new technologies that companies come up with that is under engineered. The part is a safety switch that shuts everything down if it thinks something is radically wrong! But the part is poorly engineered. Nothing was wrong with my hot water heater, except for that darn part! Lol. So he ordered a new part and had it in within a few days. (Our kids are gone so there were no riots in our house!} It was an LG model #6G40-36F1. Don't buy one. The stupid idiots who designed it also made it so that you cannot easily access the burner area. They have it all sealed behind glass, so replacing parts in the burner area is a big deal. And they have some kind of stupid static electric charge button that lights the pilot, and this doesn't work worth crap either! And you can only push the static button down so many times then you have to wait 20 minutes!! Its the stupidest most contrary ignorant hot water heater I have ever seen in my life time! Lol. But back to Marcus, he was very sharp and thorough, and tested everything to make sure there were no safety or gas issues. He was polite sharp arrived on time and didn't try to sell me a new hot water heater. Though I may be junking this one soon! read more

Metro came though once again for us! Jalen replaced the bulbs for our Breathe Clean machine since we had them install it - he explained the why's & how's of using this machine. He also recommended their maintenance plan for AC & furnace, which we signed up for. We discovered that we had the wrong roof cap - Roy had me send pictures, but came out first to make sure Aaron & Josh A, the installers, would have everything they needed - got us a quote asap - great service from his team too!! Then the water heater died - Matt got us a quote with record speed, scheduled it immediately, and even came out a few hours early - Phillip did a GREAT job - explained the warranty, how to re-lite if needed, and a few more tidbits. It was worth a little extra to get the best one for water recovery and warranty. Lastly, Jesse R serviced our AC unit - I had a few questions (as usual) and he answered everything and even offered how to clean it - we have cottonwoods nearby. We had a new central AC unit installed through Metro, and had our ductwork cleaned (for the first time ever) prior to the installation. They were very responsive, friendly, and professional. The got us in within five days of when we called to set up the services. They were clean and quick! I got my first quote from them in January, but didn't reach back out for 6 months and they didn't bug us once - very low pressure, which I like. I received quotes from competitors, but they offered the very best deal on a high efficiency unit, and it came with a larger rebate from Xcel then the other quotes as well. The next closest competitor quote was $1k more, and the rebate was $200 less. The unit is whisper quiet and cools our entire home perfectly, and after years of no AC, we are thrilled. Highly recommend them, and plan to use them for future projects. read more

Service was surprisingly fast and was able to get issues resolved the same day and not long after the request was sent! (I was expecting DAYS out.) The tech was great and found 3 issues, instead of the suspected 1 issue of low refrigerant in the AC unit. Only bummer was the estimate. I received a $135 estimate and turns out that was for JUST the service call, which wasn't made clear when it was sent. Which is extremely discouraging when shopping around for estimates, I'd expect it to be relatively close, but go up in price for other added issues they'd run in to. Just not THIS much. (With multiple estimates received, it seems like all companies do the same thing though.) Bill was way more than expected, but the job was done and done very well. read more

We bought this house in the middle of winter when you can't check the A.C. We knew the unit was at least 18 years old. late spring we turned it on and to our surprise it worked. not wanting to what until the unit failed we had a competitor out to check the unit. The inspection revealed exactly what we thought, old worn out and could fail at any time. We got two estimates from two other firms 6500.00 and 7300.00 installed 16 seer single stage compressor. I thought that was too much. Metro came in 3200.00 less then the lowest above. Sales person was on time very informative and never tried to up sale anything at any time. 18 year old air conditioner quit, called Metro who I have never used. First point of contact speaks volumes about company. Abbey answered all my questions, was knowledgeable, patient and explained how the service works if replacement was needed. Because of her professionalism I scheduled an appointment. Well I was not disappointed. My repair tech, Miguel introduced himself, shook my hand, got info on AC and had it up and running in less than an hour. He showed me the broken part, capacitor, explained what it does and cost to fix. Miguel was knowledgeable, efficient, polite and no pressure to replace. A "Great" experience. Had both the furnace and A/C unit replaced in our home. Had three other reputable HVAC companies provide quotes. Metro's quote came in below the others and all four were quoting similar equipment. Metro agreed to remove the old furnace and A/C unit on a Monday and then returned to install the new equipment on Thursday, allowing me time to prep the area and apply an epoxy floor coating (they were very accommodating). The install of the new equipment was performed in a timely manner and the work performed was done well with regard to the fit and finish of the old and new ducting. I was amazed with the high quality service of Metro from beginning to end of project. Their bid was competitive and the sales guy didn't try to sell me more than I needed. The sub they used for asbestos abatement was a team of professionals who took great care for safety and worked efficiently such that the removal was complete in one day. They left the place spotless. Metro installed a new furnace, air conditioner, and water heater last spring. The installation went great and our price was very reasonable. We got our paperwork for submission for the Xcel rebates in a timely manner. We had a wait a while for the furnace rebate to come through but when I call Xcel they said they had additional questions and Metro was quick to respond and the slow down was on Xcel's part. Was waiting to see how the furnace did this fall before posting a review. Everything has been working great! Our water heater is the best we have ever had--no more 1 shower and all the hot water gone. We have been very pleased. read more

We Just bought our home In February only to have the furnace shut down in the middle of the night. Metro heating was the only company who responded to our call promptly. Simply Outstanding!!! I made an online appointment today for a gas dryer installation. Two very polite young men showed up, with masks on, removed shoes, examined problem and were done in less than an hour. I have been dealing with getting the dryer installed for nearly a week and they not only installed it but updated my pipes, added new shut off valves, and tied off hoses behind the washer and dryer.
