North Henry Liberty provided not only the best auto service experience, but the best customer service experience of my life. I was driving down from Philly to Richmond for Labor Day weekend. It was 95 degrees on I-95. Right on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge I heard the pop and hiss of a flat tire. I thought it was the poor guy next to me because I had had my car inspected just a couple days ago. Alas, my left tire begins to wobble and the emergency light turns on. I pull over on this busy highway in scorching hot weather, on the bridge mind you, and replaced it with the spare. I called around to several auto shops in Alexandria, telling them my harrowing story. Everyone said I couldn't get a replacement until the following morning. Not ideal. I call Liberty and Orlando says he can get it done in 2 hours. I'm skeptical but desperate so I go. The guys there are very friendly and were genuinely interested in helping me. I left and visited this tequila bar called Don Taco. (I recommend checking it out if you find yourself in a similar situation.) In LESS than 2 hours, I get a call back saying my car is ready. The head mechanic, I think his name was Orlando, said he prioritized my business because I wasn't a local and I was on a relatively long journey to visit family. Knowing that he listened to me beyond just "I have a flat tire," empathized with my situation, and then altered his schedule based on that turned my day around. I left a happier man knowing there are people who care about quality work and customer service. I cannot recommend North Henry Liberty enough. read more

I will never go anywhere else for car issues! Jeremy was the most helpful person. I went to another local car service shop for a State Inspection and failed. I was failed due to brakes and the service man could not give any details, he just told me that I needed new brakes and rotors. I went to Metro Motor for a second opinion. (Obviously I went there in not the best of moods) but I explained to them the situation and they put my car up on the lift took off the tires to look. They showed me that my brake pads were recommended for replacing. The pads were a 3/32 but VA state minimum is 2/32, which passes inspection. He gave me a paper confirming that I passed inspection and then I had to go back to the original shop requesting to remove my "FAIL" sticker. I then went back to see Jeremy about a week later to get new brake pads. Phenomenal service! My car was completed in about 3 hrs (w/ an additional oil change). I talked to Jeremy for a while. He is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Additionally, he mentioned that he sees about 5 cases a week of customers leaving the original shop I went to for a second opinion. I will continue to recommend Metro Motor to everyone I know! read more

I had my car repaired (front struts replaced) at a service station in Old Town Alexandria (not Metro Motor). I picked up my car, and after driving a few blocks, it started making noises as if something was loose. I turned around to bring it back to the same station, but it was already closed. I was afraid to drive home so I pulled into Metro Motor since it was close by. Orlando, the Service Manager, looked under the hood and found the problem (the service station that repaired my car did not tighten things properly). Orlando and another gentleman clearly explained what was wrong and how the job should have been done. They did what they could so that I could drive home safely. They were fabulous and they did not charge me at all. The next day I when I called the station that did the original repair, thanks to Metro Motor, I was able to explain what the problem was. Metro Motor liberty has earned my trust. It is my service station from now on. read more

Do you remember the days when the folks at the service station knew your name, or offered to check you oil were at the very basic pleasant to their customers? I know I am not the exception because I see them do this with many customers. I must admit that I need more assistance than most as I am in a wheelchair and use hand controls to drive. Pumping gas is a challenge that I do not need to worry about when I pull into NH Liberty. I am usually heading north on Rte 1 to head to work but I always turn and go southbound just to go to NH Liberty. The entire crew is wonderful. I once got a CC stuck in my dash, not easy to do or retrieve but they not only did not give up they undid the panel to get to it and saved me from more aggravation if I had to replace. Again the entire crew is the definition of customer service but Jim, Yousef and ?Ifrim always go above and beyond. read more

I get gas here all the time because it's right down the street from my work. They always have great prices. Lately, I have had a problem keeping air in my tire. My work schedule is super crazy so I haven't had the time to get it fixed. I was able to take it over there on my lunch today and they were very pleasant and nice. They took my keys and said it would be done in a couple of hours. They called me to tell me less than an hour later saying there was a nail in my tire, they could patch it for $20 and that it would be done in 5 minutes. 5 minutes!! This place is so awesome! I had an exceptional experience at Metro Motor thanks to Ladarius, the mechanic who helped me with everything from start to finish. He provided outstanding customer service, kept me informed throughout the process, and made sure all my questions were answered. Once they got started on my car, they were finished in no time, and the service was a great value for the quality of work provided. Jeremy and his team at Metro Motor have been fantastic. We did a full service and they were super honest about what was absolutely necessary or just recommended. The final bill was cheaper than anticipated and the car came back in tip top shape. We also did an oil change which was super efficient. And recently we had an issue with a tire and they did a superb job fixing it, saving us money buying new tires. They are all professional, efficient and kind and always offer to pick up or drop off our car. We live near MetroMotors at North Henry. I watched the dealership change from Liberty to MetroMotors about 3-4 yrs ago. They have upgraded the property and take care of it from the plants to their interior and exterior. We've had flat tires, including my bike, oil changes, mostly routine stuff. Jeremy and his team are first class. This past week with gas shortages due to the Colonial pipeline ransomware fiasco, I watched the staff at MetroMotors handle an extremely stressful situation with courtesy and patience. The mechanics are absolutely excellent under the leadership of Orlando. I'm a senior without much car knowledge so I'm often wary at a shop. But I totally and completely trust Orlando and his team. They've cared for my old Subaru since I moved to the area. And recently after my car was hit and run, they immediately looked at the car, helped me understand the problems in plain language and then gave of their time to help me negotiate with my insurance company. I would highly recommend Metro Motor - they did a superb job on my 2005 Chevy Malibu! Not only did they replace my transmission, but they did an overhaul of my entire brake system.
