Time for a new mechanic! My car had some issues and unluckily for me this was the closest gas station. They had my car for 3-4 days and charged me for work I did not approve. Took my car in for a headlight and it still doesn't work. Paid over $300 for it and they wanted to charge an additional $700. Not sure how they determine pricing. I was told labor is $189/hour by the service manager. No attempt was made to correct the original work that was not done properly and was told that the original 300 was a loss for me. If my car breaks down in California, I'm having it towed here. My previous mechanic drained a few grand from me before I realized he had no idea what he was doing. One magical morning, I drove past this Mobil and saw a Ford Bronco in the lot. So when MY Bronco broke down (again), I asked for it to be towed there. Paul, the shop manager, has a Bronco of his own and knows these trucks inside and out. I've had a few mechanics say that, but upon popping the hood, I realized he actually knew what he was talking about. He found a crack in the carburetor base plate that prevented me from being forced to sell it. Now, I drive the Bronco a few times a week, anxiety free. He also works on my Dodge Challenger and is honest and trustworthy, unlike the Dodge dealership and others out there. read more

Went to just get air in my tires (was happening fairly frequently) and arrived after the shop closed. Paul (the manager) told me to pull my car round and helped me out. Told him about the frequency of my issue and he went out of his way to find a screw lodged in my back right tire. Subsequently fixed it with ease all while the shop was closed. This was the best experience with an auto shop in my life and one of the best customer experience's I've had in any industry. I trusted Paul within minutes of talking to him because he was honest about everything - even other mechanics. Took my BMW there for a wheel alignment and tire rotation. It'll be the last time I go there. After the service, my car made a noise that it didn't before. The alignment was not done right either. I had to take it to the dealer to get it done right. The whole purpose of going there was to avoid going to the BMW dealer. A big mistake. I ended up paying double. Hi my Name is David Juwley. I was have some serious car troubles on the high way that cause me to look for the nearest gas station & god made me drive to this gas station. While at the gas station the car started to overheat and my engine was smoking. I went in initially to buy cooling fluid and I didn't even have enough money to purchase that particular object. The clerk that was in the store saw that I was going through car trouble's and saw that I was short about half of the price of the purchase he allowed me to make the purchase with what I had which I was grateful for. I didn't went outside and began to pour the cooling fluid into my vehicle when I noticed that it just leaked right out of the car and was a total waste at that point I was extremely frustrated I don't know what to do the owner of the gas station name Paul Blumenfeld came out to assist me and saw that I had a busted holes in my engine and saw that the floor was not even going through the car and I was just having all types of issues. Paul was nice enough to pull the car into his shop and left it off and start working on the car he found the issue which was a busted hose and he was able to fix it quickly and he did not even charge me a dime so it was a total blessing in this guys a great man and if you are ever in need I highly recommend Paul and his shop to you or anyone else out there thank you! read more

This is place is the BEST. Brought my Jaguar 2004 here as I was tired of going to the dealership and paying those prices. Dan is an honest guy and fairly priced. I brought him a work order that the dealership provided me and he was able to do it for $300 less! What I like best is he is honest. He will tell you what is wrong w/ the car and what needs to be fixed. He will let you know if something really needs to be fixed or you can wait. For example I knew my oil pan had a small hole and was leaking (dealership told me) and they made it sound like I had to get it fixed right away. Dan explained how I did not and if I just monitored my oil levels I should be fine for quite some time. Had my rotors replaced about 4 months ago and felt my steering wheel shaking. Brought my car in and since it is the rotors (and this is within 1 year less than 12k miles dirven on them) he is replacing on his dime. Just another example of an honest guy. Would definitely recommend bringing your car here as this is the only place I will go. Fast, reliable, reasonable...what more do you want. Further I admit I don't know much about cars so appreciate a guy who will explain it to me and not try to nickel and dime me. read more

I recently started working in the area and didn't have a "go-to" mechanic so when I needed an oil change I chose this place because it was convenient on my commute. It was super easy to make an appointment and when they did my oil change it was so quick! Paul (the Service Manager) even told me about some corrosion that was building up around my battery which was super helpful so I could get a new one before it became a real issue. When one of my headlights went out I knew they would help me out. I dropped by after work and Paul took the time to replace it at no charge to me. I highly recommend this business! read more

Don't ever bring a VW here. They have a sign that says they can work on them but when I brought my car in for AC repair they charged me an arm and a leg for it (over $1,000) and it broke a couple days later. Brought it back, said I needed a new part for over $900. Now almost $2000 for something they can't even fix. I trust the owners but not the mechanics that work on the cars. The other guy I brought it to fixed my AC for only $200 and he said whoever was under there really messed with the wires and could have damaged my engine. So never again am I coming here. And DO NOT BRING YOUR VW TO THEM they will just mess it up and charge you the most for little. read more

These people were simply amazing and this review is long overdue. I evacuated to DC after hurricane Irma for several weeks. When I learned I had lights to return to, the night before I left and hurriedly took my car, which another evacuee whom I didn't know very well, drove out. I noticed the tire was low, and I was anxious because I was driving alone back to Miami with my 5year old son. Even though I arrived close to closing time, they checked my tires, fixed the puncture in the tire, filled the air and took a general look at my vehicle, and then didn't charge me a dime. honestly, I was down to nothing after having evacuated, and I didn't have to say anything for the manager Paul to lend me a hand. My coolant light came on and then I started to hear some bubbling. I pulled into Metro Motor and asked if they could check what kind of coolant I needed. Paul (service manager) opened the hood and saw that there was liquid all over and said that my water pump was bad. He quickly looked up a price for me on the part. I decided to have my car towed to my regular mechanic, but was extremely grateful for Paul and the staff allowing me to hang out in the air conditioning watching TV while I waited the hour for my tow truck. Scheduled an oil change first thing at 8:00A. They said their mechanic was late. I waited nearly two hours. I had two minor lights replaced and an oil change and they charged me over $215.00. I complained and they reduced it $40.00. They claimed my back two tires were bald and I had Michelin call them to verify for warranty purposes and they said they had no record of my car being there. Incompetent and outrageously priced. I'll never go here again. read more
