My car had power but wouldn't start so I ordered a tow truck through Geico roadside assistance. A guy came and put his mask up when I asked but his English wasn't great so he handed me his phone to talk with his boss who said he had to send a different guy with a new battery. The second guy arrived an hour later, was nice and did a good job but wasn't wearing a mask. I'm glad they got it fixed but the process could have been better. During Covid-19 service people really need to find a way to wear masks when they have to talk with others in person. $300 for 7 miles tow. My son's Tesla X 12V battery was dead. Tesla Dublin Service Center recommended and arranged Metro Towing to tow his car from my house to the service center in Dublin that is 7 miles away. Metro Towing charged him $300 for the 7 miles tow. I called Metro Towing to complain the overcharge and was told because they used special tools (pull cable and a pair of rubber wheel chocks) to pull the car out of the garage. It's a ridiculous claim. I did not see much difference from a typical towing on the side of a neighborhood street. read more

Recieved a tow from Rasheed through my AAA insurance, and I have to say he was extremely skillful. My mini cooper is not an easy car to deal with, as it is extremely low to the ground, but he managed to get my car on his truck and off his truck without scraping the bottom once.
