HORRIBLE SERVICE AND RUDE! I got assigned them from my insurance for towing my vehicle. I got assigned at 3pm, and there was a 1.5 hour wait. After waiting 1.5 hours, the woman on the phone said to wait another 1.5 hours. Now it's been over FOUR HOURS and the tow truck driver still haven't arrived AND THERE HAS BEEN NO UPDATES! Every time I called, the woman on the phone was very rude and was obviously really annoyed and irritated that I called. United Towing Service - Livermore, If you are not going to tow my car, then please decline the offer so another towing company can take it! Absolute worst customer experience. Artigua or whatever her name is says she is the manager and owner has the worst attitude and poor customer service. After waiting two hours for a tow with his company, I merely told him that the location of the tow is 50 feet away from where the actual car is located and due to their delay my wife was not going to stand there and wait for the tow truck to show up. She then hung up on me and canceled my tow after two hours. In this day and age, if you're in business when people are in need and you're in the service industry, learn how to take care of your customers. You have other quality employees, but unfortunately, a unfit boss and manager will eventually cause this business to fail. Respond to your message : you have the same mentality. No empathy no apology. How can you be in a customer service business? Please listen to the call before you make accusations about how my state of mind is. GEIGO assigned my tow to United Towing Service to take my dead Jeep Rubicon Hybrid back to service to rectify a problem, just up the freeway. Our office was hosting a training session (construction) which meant the parking lot was filled up. Driver Enrique called ahead and i told him about the packed parking lot. He shows up and in the most friendly and professional manner, assessed the situation, backed in and deftly hooked up my Jeep and got it out of the tight parking spot so effortlessly and quickly it was amazing. Just want to give a review and thank UTS for helping me out with my situation. Had my car break down on the side of the freeway and my insurance company sent these guys out. Insurance was giving me an issue so I had to leave my car over night but I spoke to the driver and left specific instructions for a tow the following day. I called next morning and the rep on the phone was super nice and understanding. Listened to what I requested and was accommodating. I requested the original driver, Nano, who was super friendly and professional. Needless to say, my car was picked up and towed to the requested location. If I knew my insurance was going to give me an issue I would have done all this the day of. Zero hassle and in my opinion, pretty affordable for towing. Thank you everyone! A separate tow service had already tried to load the vehicle but was unsuccessful and inadvertently made the situation worse by rolling the vehicle down our driveway. Do not do business with this company horrible customer service The Driver showed up no intro didn't get out or even try to grab the car from out of its parking space with the tow bar he just asked "can you put it in nuetral and roll it out" but the car could not start so the Toyota service person offered to lift the front while the driver and I push it out and into position the driver now got out of his truck was grumpy w/ an attitude the worker at Toyota asked me "what's his problem " ??? We got the car out and into position in 1-2 minutes to which the Toyota serviceman said to the driver "see it wasn't that bad no problems right now you can just grab the front and hook up " The driver didn't reply to any of the comments and Rather than use the tow bar as suggested he prepped the flat bed so I said wouldn't it be easier to tow the car doesn't go into gear the driver said he had it and just drug my car up onto the flatbed when we got to our destination he had to shake the car off the back because remember it won't go into gear something he already knew. As the car was coming off I asked if he had a plan to get it closer to the curb because the car was going to be too far out and into the street. The driver said no this is it this is close as I can get. I advised that will not do your bed is far from the curb moving closer would place the car closer to the curb or just drop the car and maneuver with the tow bar the driver annoyingly said he couldn't get the car any closer. I pointed out the bed was not even close to the curb again and that he could also grab it with the tow bar and maneuver the car closer, then driver replied that " we don't even tow to homes I'm only supposed to tow to another business" at that point I smelled BULLSHIT and had picked up on the attitude from the jump (this guy came to work just to get a check he doesn't plan on actually working) I informed him that the tow request was to a residential that's not my problem so do I have to call and get a driver that does tow to residential area ??? Rather than try or call dispatch he took the car back to the pick up location I called dispatch for another driver they had no clue what was going on the man said give him a minute let him check with his driver. I waited 13 minutes and called back asking what now the same person I spoke with previously said give it 15 minutes and call back Geico so I called Geico who then called the tow company the person I dealt with spun things he lied and said we spoke and came to an understanding ????? And that his driver called him yet when we spoke the first time he had no clue he left now maybe he called afterwards but what company allows a driver to just decide he is going to return a car w/ out calling first ??? I'm all for having your employees back but not at the cost of the customer .......ultimately they did nothing to fix the issue luckily Geico decided to send AT Towing LLC I had a great experience the driver introduced himself and was friendly and had no issues getting my car within regulation distance from the curb at all matter of fact I couldn't have parked it much better I would give a negative 5 star rating if it were possible... do not use United Towing People have bad days sure but customers still come first and they did nothing to remedy the situation read more

I had the single worst experience with United Towing Service I've ever had with any service *ever*. I'd rather go through US customs three times in a row then ever deal with them again. I used them via Geico roadside assistance. I initially called assistance at 9:07pm on Sunday, trying to get help putting the spare tire on my Honda Fit (the tire had just blown out on the way to a date) because my tire iron was stripped. They quoted 75 minutes and I was annoyed but what could I do? So I waited. on the 74th minute, I got a text saying that the driver was now on his way. Even more annoyed, I called dispatch and they had some rehearsed story about the driver being delayed because he had to use dollys on the previous tow, and that he would get to me as soon as he was done. I said I was upset they hadn't reached out to me proactively or even through the digital status system they have. They said that it was Geico's fault because Geico was supposed to reach out to them???? Then, the dispatcher claimed I could not get an ETA because it'll just be whenever the driver is able to get to me. I called Geico to see what they could do and of course, as soon as they called, the dispatcher told them '45 minutes'. Given the reviews on here that I looked up while waiting had similar stories, I decided to not trust that ETA and find assistance myself, which I was easily able to do myself (On the Go Roadside Assistance was AMAZING). NEVER USE UNITED TOWING SERVICE!!!! read more

If I give zero stars I would .Got my vehicle towed to united towing around 4 - 5am Saturday the 11th and had 73 miles on it. I went to go pick it up around 4pm and the car was completely empty on gas with my splash guard even damaged... after confronting them he was very eager to get my current mileage to say that the mileage was the "same" as when they picked it up. Seems like they like to take there customers cars for joyrides then deny it even with me having proof. I will escalate this further and you guys will hear from me since you guys have cameras. They should have showed me the footage from the time they towed it to the time to pick it up but denied too which shows a lot about how they are as a company. They also charged me $300 for the tow , $130 for "storage fee" and which the owner said $150 for the gate fee because he said they are closed on the "weekends" but yet it says they are open everyday 6am-2am. False advertisement at its finest to scam you out of more money. Don't trust these guys with you car they are crooks and I will be escalating this further. read more
