This is completely unacceptable and bad customer service. The only reason why I'm giving two stars is the teller who was kind enough to communicate with us about what was going on. Earlier this year, I was scammed very bad. I called Provident immediately and went into the bank and filled out paperwork. I was told they had caught it in time, I would lose NO money. However, around midnight, I got a notice that two things totaling $1,200 cleared my account. I complained and was given a phone number to call and told I could only talk to this one person. Soon I got a letter saying what happened to me was not fraud and that would be the end of it. I complained because I had been told everything was okay - but yet they cleared two transactions. I was told to call that one person - only he could help me. I called and I called and I called some more. He was always out of the office. He never once returned my call. I will be leaving this credit union soon. They had no business telling me it was okay when it wasn't. They did not help me and then they ignored me. This is not the kind of service I want. Such a shame - as I really liked this credit union until this happened.

I've also seen people attempting to bend down so they can speak into the gap below the guards. Please either drill holes in the guards or hand me a megaphone the next time I go in or only hire tellers who have 'Dumbo' sized ears and car hear through the plastic. Also, the teller I spoke to had no idea what a debit card was when I asked what the service fee for the cards is. Thankfully I don't have to use this branch very often.

I got a letter from them saying that they had signed me up for Identity Theft Protection product that I never signed up for - got two letters so they signed me up for this twice and they are going to reimburse me for the costs of this. I was supposed to receive the payments in January 2024 but have not yet and when I call to follow up the payments are still pending. So they cannot even make restitution in a timely manner. I am glad I switched from this bank. I am usually a very low key customer and had banked with them for years but this signing people up for products that they do not want is totally unethical and a really poor business practice. It is dishonest. About this branch though - I alway got good service here and the people are really nice so I will add stars for that. The tellers here are really nice. At first I was told they needed to make a call to see if the check was good. Huh? I said it's an East West check. Minor confusion, however the manager took command and explained they had to call my employer. The actual check was produced by the payroll company APT, not the bank. Fraudulent checks as such.
