They actually have some of the best margarita. Plus, the glassware is really cool. Jade was a great server. The restaurant was really busy and I found the noise level very acceptable. They do play some background music ... and there is a TV in the bar area. We actually had forgotten all about Mexican Inn. Just happened to be across the street and saw the sign. Glad we did. I did a take out order on Tuesday from the lunch menu: Deluxe Nachos with garnish, Chicken Burrito w rice & refried beans. This was my first take out at this location which is closer to my home. I would normally visit one further away eating in. Anyway I picked up my order and there were 8 nachos with melted cheese on top and a little ground beef on each. There were soggy and stuck to the paper beneath. The garnish was there along with the chips and salsa and my other order was in tact. I was disappointed with the nachos so a couple days later, I called the restaurant to let a mgr know what condition my nacho's were in. I spoke with Jade, she took my info, apologized and said she would pass the information on so I could get a replacement or voucher. I gave her my name and number. She said another mgr would get back to me if not that evening, by tomorrow, the next day. Never received a call back so by Saturday, I called again and spoke with Patty, mgr. she told me to stop by and she would make sure I got another order of Deluxe Nacho's. When I got there Patty and I went over the menu, she explained how the order is made, whats included and what they should look like when finished. She then she went to the kitchen to have the order prepared. The order I received Tuesday did not look the order on Saturday. Saturdays order had refried beans melted cheese and ground beef on top. They were not soggy. Tuesdays order: Nachos with a little melted cheese with a little ground beef, and soggy. Saturdays order was nicely prepared and tasted yummie!!! I ordered an order of rice and refried beans to go with my order. Patty showed me what the order looked like before she put it in the bag. I was pleased with how she handled the situation and I wanted to give her a shout out for doing what she did. Keep up the good work. Thank you!!! read more

So disappointed. I had never gone to the Hulen Mexican Inn, but I thought it would be pretty much like the ones on 8th Ave and Camp Bowie. I was wrong. We arrived right up 11am. First customers. Mexican Inn chips are my all time favorites. The chips today, appeared to have been left over from the evening before and refried to heat up. Full of grease and there was no fresh cooked flavor. The food is always good, but this last time we went, the waitress was very rude and the high chairs they gave us to use for our baby were broken. I will not lie, we go for the chips & salsa & corn tortillas with butter...lol I had the Star Appetizer as my dinner & was not impressed, it almost definitely sat under a heat lamp while everyone's meals finished. Food was bland: Beef taco lacks seasoning; Guacamole Chalupa almost tasteless; but Cheese Enchilada was good. Chips were great as usual but Salsa needed a little more heat. The best thing I enjoyed was the fact homemade corn tortillas are brought out with the chips and salsa as a snack. The tortillas are very tasty and we're some of the best around. The chips and salsa were also very good, I was caught off guard by the chips being small strips instead of triangles (reminded me of Fritos with their shape) but there were fun and tasty as well. The food was also very good, had a combo plate with enchiladas, flat taco with queso, a crispy taco, and a tamale and all was very good. I really like the enchiladas (because of the tortillas). If I had to have one knock, I will say it's not the cheapest place but it's not crazy expensive either. I did manage to get two meals out of my dinner/snacks so I won't complain much. My husband and I have been living in South Fort Worth for 6years and always drive by this restaurant, but never stopped by. One day, my boss took me one in Euless and I had a great service and food. I visited to this restaurant with my husband, we were happy to have a dinner there. We went back 3weeks in a row since then. Every food we tried was great and their service is very nice!! Our non-profit club has been meeting at this location on the fourth Monday of every month for the past nine months. When we began the manager let us hold our meetings in the "banquet" room so we wouldn't disturb the other dinners and we could conduct club business and enjoy a meal and drinks at the same time. Tonight when we arrived we were told that we would have to conduct our meeting in the dinning room unless we had pre arranged to reserve the "banquet" room. After some discussion and pleading we were allowed to hold our meeting as usual but told we would have to make other arrangements in the future. The manager and server were rude and refused to honor the agreement we have had with them for months. They brought us chips and water but never came to take our orders for food or drinks. There were only four tables with diners in the entire restaurant. The manager and server ignored 15 people for an hour and a half. Fifteen people that were prepared to order drinks and food went home hungry and will never come back! read more

Mexican Inn was better than I expected. I walked in thinking that it would look, feel, and taste exactly like Rosa's but it wasn't. The atmosphere was pretty chill, customer service was pretty good, and the prices weren't out of this world. I ordered one of the favorites which was Arroz con Pollo. It was pretty delicious. They give you a ton of food on one plate. I think the plate was pretty much covered with food. Every thing tasted as authentic as it could be given that it was a restaurant. I will say the tortillas was handmade and pretty freaking good. Overall, I had a good experience and I would refer someone here. I gave it three stars mainly because it was just regular mexican good. Nothing amazingly special, but still good. It probably deserves 3.5 stars. But 3 will suffice. read more

I do not have complaints about the food. I do not know why restaurants think you come to their establishment to listen to their music. It is always too loud, and you have to raise your voice in order to visit with your friends. I sometimes think it is to get you to eat and get out of their place of business. My friends and I are not rude people that take up space when restaurants are busy, and customers are waiting to be seated. We like to eat and visit over food and leave to continue our evening. When I leave your place of business "I say I am never going back" as I cannot stand the unpleasant environment of noise.
