We are in from out of town in the Cape Canaveral area and were looking for a place to take our family. We had out standing service, quick and helpful. Our food was brought out promptly and hot. A lot of good suggestions from our waiter and we were not disappointed. The price was inexpensive and I felt the waiter deserved more as a tip than the bill. My husband moved here 7 years ago from Dallas and he was yet to find a True Mexican Place. He was speechless. It was sooooooo good. I mean those REAL MADE TORTILLAS, The real Elote (corn on the Cobb), the season Barbacoa meet... wooow. I tried the tostada and it's so darn good with the green sauce. In this no frills spot, the food was outstanding. This place is definitely in my top 3 for Mexican food. Tacos - we ordered 1 beef, pork and fish and they were fantastic. It reminds me of the taco truck we have here in Queens, NY (right off of 74th and Roosevelt for those in the know) Tamales - it was a tad dry but flavorful nonetheless. I'm not a fan of refried beans, however they were exceptionally seasoned. Steak - flavorful and tasty. Lately I've been craving tacos, so when I went to visit my sister, she suggested this restaurant. I cannot comment on the authenticity of it being Mexican cuisine, as I have not had true cuisine from Mexico, but it definitely made my taste buds happy. I ordered the pescado street tacos, and 2 was more then enough to fill me. While the tacos were yummy, what really made the taco was the sauce they give you on the side. It was a green sauce, who knows what was in it, but I poured that all over my taco and asked for more to go. The food came out almost instantly - we only had time to order, get our sodas, and when we sat down they brought our plates to us. Now that's some good service! The food: my husband and I shared a carne asada taco and a chicken taco. Both were delicious and I loved the radish garnish. We had the green sauce which was a perfect level of heat for my husband. I had the bowl with barbacoa, rice, beans and lettuce. I added the red sauce to this and it was so tasty! The rest of my family had the cali burritos and they proclaimed that they might have been the best burritos they ever had! This was a fantastic find! Now I'm sad we don't live in the area. i got the steak quesadillas to go and the portion size was amazing. a lot of food, but all of it was quality food. also ordered the steak fajitas that came with refried beans and mexican rice as well with tortillas warmed on the side. i ordered the sopapillas as a dessert and it was delicious. crispy and sugary, nice and airy, and it was even better dipped in the vanilla ice cream! honey was on the side as well. best dessert in a while. a great experience! read more

We were looking for a quick sit down restaurant, reasonably priced within walking distance of our place. Wow, we stumbled on a gem! First, there is free parking- very important at the beach. There is plenty of comfortable seating for families. The menu has a lot of variety. Tuesday's special was street tacos 2.25 each, delicious. I loved the pulled pork. It was very tender and flavorful. Hubby had arroz con pollo, he really enjoyed it. He didn't share. The service was great. The menu came quickly, questions answered, food came out perfect and delicious. The churros were a good ending to a great meal. There was a large bar with specialty drinks that looked good. Tequila and margaritas were being enjoyed by our dining neighbors. We chose not to imbibe this evening. Overall, this was a wonderful family restaurant, strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking for delicious Mexican food and great service. read more

This restaurant has the BEST carnitas I have ever had. Everything we had was good but honestly the carnitas stood out as the star of the show. They don't have ground beef, so I had to order shredded steak, which was tough and hard to eat.
