The encheladas were good but I ordered mole sauce and got NO sauce. If you offer mole put on mole.

I also tried a Steak Fajita Quesadilla and Chicken Mole Enchiladas (came with rice and beans), and really enjoyed both dishes. Mole was savory sweet smothering the enchiladas that was packed with chicken. Quesadilla really hit the spot tho - tons of oozing cheese, packed with steak, and a good amount of bell peppers and onions. Great flavor and textures in each bite. I've lived in the UES for about 4.5 years now and Mediterranean Grill had always been on my list so I was happy to go with two friends last night! I really really liked it here. It's just casual enough, and is the PERFECT place for a catch-up with friends for yapping and margaritas. It seemed like there weren't too many staff people there around 7:30pm, but the woman who was our waitress was SO sweet and had such a good energy. I ordered a guava and strawberry frozen marg which were a really decent size and were just the right amount of sweetness and fruitiness ($14). I joined my friends for "girl's night" with a strong desire to get f*ed up (very unlike me, but it was a tough day). Since I am apparently a "type B" friend - I am not the one who takes care of planning when others want to do it. You text me the address and I show up. When I entered, the place was small and intimate. Two rows of tables on the side of the walls and a bar area at the very end. I quickly spotted my friends and thought this is not my day. The restaurant looked a bit classier then a bar. We each ordered margaritas ($13) and fiesta nachos for the table to start with ($13). The restaurant served the drinks either on ice or frozen, and had at least a dozen flavors available! My peach one tasted sweet enough to mask the alcohol and was strong enough to make me feel good. Soon enough I was onto my second and third. We talked for hours, and I have to give it to the staff for not rushing us to order, finish our meals or leaving the establishment (even after closing time!). One of my friends had the Shrimp Cali Tacos/ Shrimp Platter ($21), another one wings ($11) and I just ordered fries ($7), we all shared. As we were finishing our food, I ordered shots to celebrate ($14 each). The woman taking care of us was great! She even put on a song by Lil Jon when we were about to cheer! Started with a Greek salad, which was tasty, but unremarkable. Could've used more feta cheese for my taste, then sampled the calamari which we found nice and crispy and not rubbery. Our carnitas burrito was flavorful but would have been better if there was more meat and less rice. We then finished with a lamb shawarma platter, which was served with hummus, pitas and salad. Had Mexiterranean Grill for the first time for a work lunch and it was super yummy!! I'm always a bit cautious of the spices used in chicken shawarma, but this was SO tasty. The chicken wasn't dry at all, and the pita sandwich was great! Portions were generous too - I couldn't finish the whole sandwich. Guacamole here is also perfectly seasoned. Honestly this place is a little far for me, but after having it for lunch, I might stop by here if I'm ever in the area. read more

So their tactic is increase price, shrink portion size! No more, stay away from this place as it has become over priced. I have ordered from this place 3 or 4 times and although I love their vegetarian burrito, there is always a problem with my order. First time, I ordered a burrito bowl and I got a burrito instead of a bowl. Second time I order guacamole to be added to my burrito and it was not added although I was charged for it. Tonight I got the burrito with the added guacamole (very little on it, maybe a teaspoonful, for extra charge, but ok....) but the kicker was that I ordered a watemelon margarita and instead of it coming in a large plastic cup, it came in a small 8 oz cup with lots of ice...... for $16! Are you kidding me...... it was half the size of the usual order but the same price. I am really annoyed and won't be ordering from them again, despite the fact that I love their burritos. We had received a food delivery from Mexieterranean Grill. The Sales Rep has ordered Chicken Shawarma for the whole office. This is the first time we received a delivery from this restaurant. the food was so bland, the chicken smelled like uncleaned chicken (I am sure you know that taste if you are a chicken lover) the whole pita sandwich was a horrible. the doctors advised the rep never to order from this place and it was a bad choice. I personally love chicken Shawarma But, lost my love for it after tasting it from this place. never again. read more

My husband and I were disappointed with our meal here. We ordered a tinga de pollo burrito and a lamb shawarma for delivery and despite the food arriving quickly it wasn't even warm. On the menu it said my burrito would come with Mexican rice, pinto beans, and pico de gallo. It had none of these ingredients. It was just seasoned chicken with chopped up lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. I'm not a very picky eater but having cucumbers in my burrito was gross. I never want another burrito with cucumbers in it. It wasn't even seasoned. It was plain veggies chopped up. It seemed like it was their "Israeli salad" that comes in the shawarma. There was nothing good about the lamb either. We didn't taste their "special seasoning" on the lamb. The meat tasted plain and again it was just stuffed with a plain lettuce, tomato, and cucumber salad. Each wrap was $8. I would say that's a pretty good and cheap deal but how the food tasted, it made us feel like we wasted our money. We'd rather pay more and eat elsewhere. We debated about calling to complain about the missing ingredients in my burrito but the effort wasn't worth it knowing that we won't be ordering from here again. read more

I ordered take out yesterday from this restaurant, and I decided upon Steak fajitas. Everyone knows that meat or fish used in fajitas is grilled with a side of grilled peppers, onions, a little Itty salad with parsley, some guacamole and different salsas, rice and beans. Well...what I got was stewed meat with peppers and onions, no little salad on the side, no guacamole, only extremely hot green salsa and limp rice with beans. What is wrong with this place? If they don't have the kitchen set up to grill, then don't offer fajitas on the menu! Very lackluster and disappointing! Not inexpensive either. What a letdown! Never will I go there again! Pathetic customer service. I tried ordering there (logged in properly) because of a special "mystery" discount offered by email. The order went through to the checkout, at which point it said "Restaurant closed." Nothing I did changed this. I called the restaurant twice, spoke to someone who claimed she was the manager, and the woman offered me no help whatsoever. I offered to order by phone but she could not offer me a promised discount. Rude and unbelievably poor customer service. it's too bad because the food is actually edible. Ordered a big order for an office and they said driver was on the way and NEVER DELIVERED THE FOOD. Even though they said the driver was sitting in traffic multiple times. When I called them out on it they lied. They gave me the number for the owner-who said he'd get back to me about what happened to the driver and the delivery and he never called me back.
