Many negative reviews and I see why. They are crooks! A whole SCAM! When going back and forth it was mentioned they could only do up to 10ft with Groupon purchase. When I tried to book the person said "no sorry, we can't do parts of a couch" My sectional is not connected. The part of the couch that I wanted cleaned is 8 ft... He/she even drew all over the picture they requested. After questioning them all I got was attitude. A company with good customer service would not act that way. Especially when I was respectful the entire time. Whoever is on the other side of the phone talking to customers needs some serious training. I recently moved and just wanted peace of mind knowing that my carpets were clean. Tal was accommodating, affordable, and fast. I moved to a townhome where the carpets are on the third floor. I wasn't eligible for any Groupons because of this. Receiving quotes through yelp, they were all quoting at least $169 and most were over $200. However, when Tal came, he shaved off $29 and didn't charge a stairs fee. He quoted $100 before getting started and said because there is no major staining and the carpets were already clean, it would be a quick job. I watched some of the tutorial videos he has on his website and tried my best to pretreat any stains I saw. Overall, it was a very nice experience working with Tal. This merchant is INCREDIBLY unprofessional and rude (almost to the point of me thinking they must be mentally unhinged and it was quite scary - I had to block their number). They advertised on Groupon a certain price for a sectional cleaning, and then when I tried to schedule the cleaning, they tried to take $30 more claiming the ottoman that is part of the sectional was extra - but by definition, a sectional has an ottoman, otherwise it is just a couch. I'll preface this with - my carpets are gross. I haven't had them cleaned in many years. There are years worth of pet/food/misc stains that have sunk below the surface. We are not completely filthy - We have done spot cleaning and vacuuming, but they needed a deep bath. I really wanted to get a good soaking and cleaning to eliminate the dirty carpet feel and slight smell; I was okay with not being able to remove every stain after years of neglect. Val was my carpet expert technician and he showed me the gross water that was being sucked up from my carpet and I decided to go with the additional deep clean. I'm usually a penny-pincher so I wouldn't imagine myself to spend any extra money on my carpets, but I'm glad I did. MexSteam was very fast to respond to inquiries and were very flexible with their scheduling. We communicated via text which was nice. This company was completely unprofessional. The cleaner that came to my house was rude and an hour late. I asked him kindly if he can please wear booties in the area where I have a rug and my baby plays and the man proceedes to tell me how "impossible" that was (its not ive gotten my couch cleanes before) he was being lazy... then proceeded to say that I should've called another company (probably because this one hires lazy workers). Mexsteam offers a few different Groupons. Carpet cleaning, rug cleaning, couch cleaning. I bought the rug and couch cleaning Groupons. These are two different Groupons, two different listings. I contacted Mexsteam and even though it would be more convenient for them to do both services the same day, they notified me if some arbitrary restrictions not mentioned in any of their Groupons. So instead of being able to get my couch and rug cleaned, they want to charge me extra for coming back unless I just pay for one of the services out of pocket, even though I already paid for both services through their Groupons. Extremely shady, they don't even have competitive prices. There are much better companies that offer the same services. Please avoid. read more

Girlfriend got a Groupon for a couch cleaning. Terrible response time after multiple attempts spanning a week. They do not answer the phone, emails and will randomly text you back after multiple inquiry calls/emails. After finally scheduling it on Tuesday for a Friday appointment, they text us Wednesday to notify us there were no longer any open spots on Friday. There only available time would now be the very next day (Thursday) at 10am. Only reason we were available to switch days that quickly was because I was already on vacation for a week. They are not open weekends nor after 5pm, so if you work a 9-5 they're not a good option for you. I live in a 2 story condo, not very complicated but apparently they charge extra $30 if they have to go up or down any stairs (other companies have traditionally waived this for me). When I asked why their competitors have never charged me a stair fee, their employee became rude, unprofessional and even went as far as stating that "they make little off Groupon, they have a deal". In short, indicating this was a low level job for them, my response was simple, that's your problem for having that deal with Groupon not your costumers. If my girlfriend had not already purchased the Groupon I would've told him to leave; as a matter of fact, once the stair fee convo came up he was about ready to leave and began packing his things stating he would have to speak to his boss. It seems like he knew we would be caught with the Groupon expense and it would be easiest for him to not do the job. I decided to get it over with and pay the fee to save the time of finding someone else. He begrudgingly did the job, simple enough couch cleaning but will never use them again. Do not recommend. My suggestion, yelp companies prior to getting a Groupon. The 3 stars for this company is more generous than they deserve. read more

I explained to him about the Carpet stains I had from the previous carpet cleaners and how they could not get out the dirt stains, he amazed me with how he was able to pick up all the stains. FYI, they have a portable system that's not connected the vehicle. I don't have an elevator and they would have to bring their system up the stairs. Hence they charge you extra for this labor to move the equipment. I purchased a Groupon to get my daughter's room cleaned and I thought it was a good deal $40 for 2 rooms and a hallway but when I went to schedule and appointment, they wanted me to agree to terms and conditions that said they could charge my for a number of reasons and it looked very unprofessional because of the incorrect grammar. Apparently there is a $30 charge if you're over the 15 mile limit from downtown (I live in RSD) with Groupon (it's normally 25 mi) and I asked the guy if he can just substitute the hallway or other bedroom for the extra 3 miles because I couldn't see paying an additional $30 just for that and he was rude and unwilling to work with me so I cancelled the Groupon and went with a reputable company instead.
