Bed was so comfortable and the shower had excellent water pressure and a wide range of hot to cold. I prefer a really hot shower, and sometimes places don't have the water hot enough. This one was perfect. Right down the street from South Kingstown Town Beach. No tv or refrigerator in room but there is a common fridge in the kitchen downstairs along with a self serve Keurig machine. Looking forward to spending a few nights in July next year so I can enjoy the beach in high season. Also, a short drive to Matunuck Oyster Bar where you will get a fabulous meal.

It has a country cottage appeal-bedding was high quality, as were the bath towels and toiletries. Our bed was so comfortable with the best pillows I've ever slept on. Bath robes were also provided, which was also such a nice touch. Our daily breakfast delivery was very special. I loved all of it-there was such an attention to detail-like a ramekin of Maldon salt flakes to add to the tomatoes on my lox and cream cheese bagel. Orange juice and coffee press every morning, and always a well balanced breakfasts. Eating off of hand crafted pottery made the meals even more appealing. I loved all those special touches. Any time we'd see Robyn in passing, she would always greet us with her beautiful smile and wonderful energy. She is such an asset to sea breeze. I'm sure the proprietors must know what an absolute gem they have in Robyn. Our room was close to the main road-so we did have to deal with a bit of street noise, however, it was also ticked all the way in back, which felt more private than some of the other cottages.

However, on…read moreour most recent stay (May 8-12) we had the pleasure of meeting the new owners, Mike & Rebecca. They are both wonderful hosts and made my husband and I feel very much at home. The East Bay has been painted inside and out, with all guest rooms being brightened with new linens, window coverings and art. Breakfast included coffee, tea, fresh juice, fresh fruit, homemade pastry, and a savory entree (quiche, sausage & baked eggs, etc) You will not go away hungry! East Bay's location is perfect for exploring the Island on foot or by car, or heading over to Newport. We even made the quick 1 hour drive down to Stonington CT for wine tasting. While we missed seeing Paul & Diane, we wish them well in their retirement. The East Bay and her guests are in very good hands with Mike & Rebecca.

We had the ground floor all to ourselves with our own bathroom and big comfy bed, game room with a pool table and big tv- what a dream! We came on a rainy weekend, but they have a gorgeous pool and yard we'll have to come back for. Breakfast was delicious!!! french toast, eggs, fruit, fresh coffee and real maple syrup! all elegantly and perfectly prepared. Definitely the best option if you are visiting the area.
