We started with the spinach feta pie. That was outstanding! I ordered the Greek steak and rice. It came with plenty of sauce on the side. We shared a Greek salad as well. It didn't have dressing on it so I was a little surprised. The service was fine. Did not have any issues ordering. We asked to sit outside and they brought our meal to us. The place was extremely clean and well taken care of. Nothing was outdated. I am recommending Gyro Shoppe to all my Yelp followers.

Their food is not bad... but I believe Lavash and Nazareth have cleaner and fresher food and more reasonable pricing. I like the cashiers, and the atmosphere and seating is nice... but their Falafel is usually burnt and doesn't feel fresh... I'm a big Falafel fan. Their hummus is alright, but Nazareth and Lavash are far superior. Also, the owner Dave is a total asshole. Me and my dad are Persian and he came up to us one day and suggested that we are terrorists. Meanwhile, the owner at Nazareth and Lavash treat you excellent and their food is better. Honestly, I liked this place because of its convenient location to my house... but I was shocked at the racism of the owner toward me. He has a Mediterreanean Restaurant, he probably has a lot of clients from the Middle East... and yet he acts like this toward me and my dad? My dad's a used car salesman, and I'm a college student who works with my dad and has to take care of my diabetic mom... but hey, we're terrorists cause of our skin color? I went to Mezze few weeks ago, No one was at the front counter area to take my order, I stood there for about 5 minutes finally somebody walked in from the back area of the restaurant they smelled like they just finished smoking a cigarette but against my best judgment I ordered chicken and rice bowl, the chicken was extra dry it was nasty , even though I heard so many good things about Mezze I had such horrible experience I am never going back. read more

Excellent place to eat. Nice atmosphere with a laid back feel. The food is amazing and a good change of pace to the normal gyro meals. The House rice and sauce is really good. The staff is extremely friendly and will let you try anything before you order it if you ask. Really good sized portions for a good price. If you're debating about eating here, do it. Staff always seems genuinely happy to serve and is ready to explain ingredients, options and even help me make a decision by asking about my tastes.
