This restaurant is my go to for happy hour when on this side of town. The food is not bad either!…read more Miller's Ale House is a casual "All-American" restaurant with great eats and drink offerings. Food Highlights We started with the chicken wings in jerk seasoning, and they were a revelation. The seasoning was spot on-bold, authentic, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. For the main course, I opted for the "Ribeye Steak". It was tender, juicy, seasoned and full of flavor. The sides were on point too. I also added fried shrimp and a loaded baked potato that was cooked just right and the perfect complement to the steak. I also tried the Boom Boom shrimp that was extra crispy just like I like it and tossed in a spicy sauce that had just the right amount of kick! Everything came out hot and at the perfect temperature that I requested. Drinks & Atmosphere The drink menu is impressive, with a vast choice of beers and ales that would satisfy any craft beer enthusiast. The vibe is chill and casual.....table, booth, bar seating with lots of flat panels everywhere to keep you occupied. This layout is big and can easily accommodate large groups, families and makes the perfect meetup spot to catch up with friends over a brew & game. Service I must admit that I was impressed with the service. Our server I believe the name was Charles, was very helpful and accommodating to our large party. He managed to our order as well and had the perfect timing for bringing out our orders. In all, I've had nothing but good experiences at this location. The food is fresh, the portions are huge and the price pint is great. I definitely give this place a thumbs up and recommend the visit!

We started with the bang ban shrimp, which were a good size, portion with a nice crisp batter. If they had an option for a chilli garlic sauce or something with a little more flavor they'd be perfection. The burgers are fine for the quality of food served at the establishment. These are more like upscale frozen patties with a cheap tasting cheese. The fries are similar to Wendy's, but a little thicker. The onion rings are thick cut. It's more so for appetizers for me because of the type of food I try not to consume.

The actual restaurant/bar drinks and bathrooms is the issue needs to definitely be updated. So back to the good part of the review: the food. Now I love me some Birria tacos and usually they are the size of a small corn tortilla...but not these! When she brought me out these ginormous (3) tacos I couldn't believe my eyes! They were the size of my open hand past my wrist! Now my pictures don't do them any justice because it took me 2-3 days to finish them and the side of Mexican rice which was also so big! So be aware that you will have food to take home for lunch or to eat later as I'm a grazer myself...lol. Now the margaritas were not good at all and tasted premade which for an authentic Mexican a spot as this seems to be should be a no-no! I did like the salsa that tasted homemade and asked if I could take a side of it home! As usual I love finding a diamond in the rough and this is definitely it! Great food and service horrible margaritas.

I really love the ambience of the restaurant where you have seating for both the bar (where you can enjoy music and pool) as well as the restaurant side where you can sit and dine or wait for a pick up order. The staff is great! I really enjoy the main hostess as they are very hospitable and accommodating. This evening, we sat at the bar and ordered lots of great food, especially the Birria tacos and quesadillas. The consume was just the right consistency! I will say that my only issue is that the bar does not have enough options for various types of drinks - were so being able to modify classic cocktails I definitely will be back and have been back to order carry out however eating and it's my preference.

From my understanding the upstairs recently opened up. That too has a large bar, maybe one or two bar tables and this large couch like thing to sit down. It seems like there is a crap ton of regulars that frequent which is pretty cool. Seems like a big 'ol family. Patio in the back, looks like that would be dope once it gets warm out. I personally think the bar prices are on the damn high side. Wings and fries were a la cart, fifteen for them both to be exact, and they weren't the best. Simply something to base the belly in your pursuit of drunkeness, if that is what you do and all. Don't judge me folks. I hear they have brunch, perhaps go back and try that. The bartenders are cool and will chit chat it up, and they make good dranks. It's a bar, come to drink, maybe you don't eat, and simply watch the game.

This was ON A TUESDAY (and that's relevant because I'm over 30 and it was a work-night lol). It wasn't necessarily my scene, but it may be yours, so I'll drop the bullet points so you can decide for yourself. -Small establishment with street parking (The outside is honestly a bit sketchy-looking.) -The crowd was mostly locals that really just wanted to have a good time. Many were dancing--which I always want when I go out. And the club started to fill up around midnight. It actually packed out!--Yes on a Tuesday! -The DJ played mostly hip hop & rap. -I didn't personally try the food, but friends thought the tacos (beef or chicken) were good except that the tortillas were falling apart. -There was a full bar & nice bartenders, but the drinks were strong--but NOT tasty. -Bottle girls? Um... -Single bathrooms that were clean -The turn-up? Real. --Oh and it was hella smoky. My throat was on fire when I left and the smell was all in my clothes and hair. I think that about covers everything. Happy hunting!
