We found Van Boxel through a Google search as we were shopping for cabinets for our basement…read morekitchen. This has turned out to be our favorite kitchen project! The cabinets are better quality than anything we could have expected. Delivered on time and perfect! Samantha spent time with us through every detail and we couldn't be happier! Her expertise made us feel confident in doing business here and we will be back for any future needs. Excellent Service, Excellent quality!

Just putting this out there for anyone who applies to work here or buys materials. Kyle vanboxel…read more does not care about his employees! He will get in your face and scream at you! If you are allergic to dust or mold they will purposely put your life at risk and make you clean out shipping containers and not think about your medical conditions. Kyle forced me to clean containers covered with dust and mold was told to suck it up and that you cannot be that allergic Happened to me multiple times caused me to have a asthma attack and almost had to go to the er. Also the owner cannot even keep track what day of the week it is is always on his phone he will tell you to have a good weekend and it's Monday am shows ya how in sink with his own company he really is. OSHA violations everywhere on the property 3 people have been injured to a loading dock he refuses to fix me being one of them and also my father who works there and another employee. Half the materials he sells are junk or damaged majorly due to him not knowing how to run a machine I cannot tell you how many times a day we would get stuck fixing stuff he messed up. I had someone I know get material from their and the shingles were junk water damaged from sitting outside and when he open the 2nd pack it had Algae growing on it. He gets the felt from overseas it's made in India gets it very cheap and then jacks the price. You want molded boxes of resisto or ice and water theirs plenty of that there. The place is very disorganized to like serious lack of communication. Also he can't keep work and home life separated has issues in his marriage was sleeping with his secretary and got caught by his wife at work in the truck so what's that tell ya about how he treats his female employees! This dude has no respect for other people. Told me I was a safety risk and fired me while he was in Texas at a business convention was not even mad enough to fire me in person and his reason for firing me was a crop of shit. I found out after the fact he fired me beocuse I stood up for myself and did not take his verbal abuse and getting in my face he got mad Becouse he could not get away with the way he treated me like he treated other employees. I busted my ass when I worked their made sure job orders were build and stayed late sometimes to make sure materials were sent out on semis on time for customers! He makes himself look good but on the inside he treats his employees like they are unvalued team members!

We couldn't be happier with our new porch--what a transformation! Iron Castle Construction's skill…read moreand professionalism are as impressive as the outcome itself. Owner Ken Schubert worked creatively with us and our design, streamlining materials and construction methods to capture the look we wanted at a price we felt good about. He took extra care in construction, picture-framing the decking, a detail I wish I'd thought to ask for and was overjoyed that he included. From inspiration photo to finished product, Iron Castle turned our lackluster, sagging brick porch into a wide, welcoming, beautiful entry. We're excited to tackle future projects together and recommend Iron Castle to everyone we know.

I honestly feel a bit bad leaving a 3-star review here because everyone I interacted with at Iron…read moreCastle Construction was genuinely kind, respectful, and responsible. On top of that, the quality of their work is fantastic. Among other great things about their work, they did a beautiful job matching the existing wood molding in our home with the new construction they did on our bathroom. Price-wise, they were right in the middle of the road compared to the other estimates I received. Where things fell short for me was communication. I know contractor-client dynamics can be tricky, but as the project progressed, it became increasingly unclear what the actual timeline or next steps were. The project ran longer than the original estimate, and I was never given updated, reliable estimates for completion. (Part of this was due to scheduling inspectors which had nothing to do with Iron Castle, but even factoring in the inspection wait time, the project went beyond the initial estimate.) Toward the end, communication broke down and workers would show up on days without prior notice, even after I explicitly asked to be kept in the loop on scheduling. That was stressful because we had our work to take care of. Big picture: Iron Castle does high-quality, beautiful work, and they are good people. But while I love the finished product, the process of getting there was not what I would have expected.

Buyer beware. The only positive part of this experience was the Sales department--and that ended…read morethe moment the contract was signed. From there, everything went downhill. Installation appointments were rescheduled four different times. In less than a year, with minimal use, both the carpet and luxury vinyl plank flooring look like they're a decade old. The floors have cracks, lifting planks, uneven seams, damaged thresholds, and mismatched dark brown plastic trim installed against gray flooring. The bathroom installation was the worst part. The installer reused an old toilet wax ring instead of installing a new one, causing a leak that damaged the new wood subfloor and leaked into the basement. They also failed to install flooring under the vanity. The damage cost us over $3,000 to repair. When we repeatedly contacted the company, it took months for them to respond. Their "repair" involved ripping out the brand-new subfloor and piecing it back together. The carpet also began wearing out in less than six months, and we were simply told they "don't do patchwork." This flooring was installed for my 85-year-old mother. Instead of standing behind their workmanship, management made the experience even worse. Dionte, from the Twinsburg office, was argumentative, refused to provide his supervisor's contact information, and promised reimbursement that never happened. Instead of covering the more than $3,000 in damages, the company offered only $500--and only if my mother signed a release giving up any further claims. This company failed in its installation, customer service, and warranty support. I cannot recommend them and will be filing complaints with the appropriate state agencies. (It's also worth mentioning they covered the water line hole and line itself under the refrigerator) .

The sales rep arrive and quoted me a price of $6000 for carpet and LVP. I was offered a lower price by their competitor but they decided to match it. The day they were to install the LVP, my husband was home and I was at work. I came home to VINYL glued down "I thought you changed your mind". Beside them changing my order (I didn't catch the change in a barrage of emails they sent-my fault I was selling my rental as well during this time) they left glue all over the flooring. They did not replace my base boards as promised. This was first wk of April 2026. I am still getting glue off the floor. They left gaps where the vinyl was suppose to lay next to the wall. There are bubbles. I did not authorize them to take the remaining balance but they did anyway. They have lied to me, cheated me and stole my money. The one rep said "I see where you were looking at the LVP. If you want this it will cost an additional $2000". Needless to say, I'm not paying extra. Just fix the flooring and make it presentable. I plan to move at the end of the year. TN Johnson. 5/20 they say this isn't how they do business but I think it is. I have gotten NO WHERE with customer service.
