Not super fancy, but clean and bright with plenty of space and a super chill vibe. My husband and I stopped in the other night to grab dinner on our way to game night at a bar down the street. We'd seen it before but didn't really know what to expect. The guy at the counter was quick and friendly, the menu is huge enough to have a lot to choose from, but focused enough that they still do everything well. Think a lot of variations on a theme. It's also value for your money. Reasonable prices and pretty huge portion sizes. Great place and definitely worth a stop. read more

I love places like this. Hole in the wall type. I was so excited, I took a bite of a taco before taking a picture. Oops! I got the tripe, tongue, pastor, and carne asada. The meat was flavorful enough to be eaten alone, but I added a little bit of hot sauce for the kick. The tripe was maybe a tad bit under flavored, so the habanero mango sauce complemented it very well! My friend had the burrito and swears by it! I almost got the chimichanga as well, but it was a late lunch and had dinner plans. Will definitely be back here again to try other things. read more

Vegans, if you're in the hood - the veggie fajita burrito minus sour cream, add rice, IS IT. I don't usually like anything with the word "fajita" in the name but this burrito is perfect. My staples are the chicken fajita burrito and the fish burrito, which goes well with the mango habanero salsa. They patiently took my order while I was trying to figure out the best options, they provided all the extras including walking the boxes out to my car. Ordered a torta de asada & their "asada" meat is more like meat from a pot roast. I wanted asada. I was expecting a bit more flavor in the meat. Paid $10 and some change and it didn't come with a drink, so a little more on the pricier side for Mexican food. I wouldn't come here again considering I usually order asada. Their customer service was good though, they have a restroom and good variety in seating. Plus you can grab your own salsa. Service was fast as well. read more

Stopped by Mi Burrito while heading back from the airport. I had the asada burrito, and it was really good. The asada has so much flavor on it's own that they must marinade it for a long time. Food was expensive and not very tasteful and small portions, especially for the price. Only thing that tasted good was the salsa. After eating about 10 minutes later, stomachs were aching. In their asada burrito is small, has a few big slices of meat and mainly beans. For 1 burrito and 5 tacos your looking at a $25+ meal. 3. Service was okay but needs to be cooked longer. Tortillas were chewy and meat needs to be cooked longer. 4. Ambiance is somewhat clean. We didn't eat in since there is a possibility of getting towed. * Save your time and go someplace else, you'll get better and more food for the same price that will leave you satisfied. * read more

Period. Their burritos are huge, under $8, and are the best. I eat tacos, tamales, and burritos from them at least 3 times a week. The staff is beyond fast (call in an order and it's ready in 10 minutes). The salsas! OMG they're so good. Casera is my jam and I buy a massive tub of it. Recommendations: - Chicken Mole Burrito - allllll breakfast burritos (so so good) - Mi Tacos Don't skip the dessert case either. I love their flan and cake options when I need a sweety treaty :) They're super clean, but especially during Covid. Hand sanitizer everywhere and distancing enforced when waiting to pick up. The carne asada tacos were great! They had Guacamole, onions & cilantro. I love rice & beans. These were very good. They both had texture and were perfectly cooked. Definitely the best carne asada, rice & beans I've had since leaving San Diego 1 1/2 years ago! They have a salsa bar where you can help yourself. All I can say is outstanding. My favorite green Chile burrito is from a place in California! I read the review and decided to try this place well four times later I can't get this food out of my mind! Green Chile verde is seriously one of the best burritos I have ever had. The mi burrito is another amazing item if you like Chile relleno which I do amazing. Lastly my wife love the nachos and I found another gem for us carnivores the all meat burrito super beef green chili and sauce that's it and that's all you need. Can't wait to go back there. read more
