Overpriced, doesn't look pleasing and taste like garbage. Fries are overcooked and looked brown, meat looked and tasted like it has been from a few days ago, honestly don't come here and don't spend your money here and this is coming from a local here in Orange. You're better off going down the street for better quality food and a better price

BOGO OFFER, but only 1 delivered.

Terrible. Stay away!! I ordered a buy one-get one free wet burrito using their Uber Eats special option. They only sent me one. I called to complain and the man on the phone just blew me off. Couldn't care less and was really nasty. Said you can't just order a BOGO....you have to give them a memo and let them know you want the advertised special on another place on the site. What??? They charged me $28 for ONE Buritto. It was ice cold when delivered and there was no hot sauce on the side as I requested. Food was no good and they insisted no refund. Worst experience ever. Spend your hard earned money at a reputable Mexican restaurant.

    Chicken enchilada

I didn't think it was possible to say this but this is the worst Mexican food I've ever had. I'm so sorry to say that. But look at the pics, I have no words other than it's not good.

Proof that I did paid for my order

Very disappointed at this restaurant I wouldn't even give it a 1 start I had place a order through UberEats it was buy one burrito and get one free I paid filled price and when I sawthey were prepping my food I saw it was one burrito so I called and I spoke to a lady and I said I orden this special and she said you need to cancel with Uber Eats I said it's not letting me since my food its already being prepared it's not letting me cancel I told her just leave my order how it is since the driver is on the way already then 5 minutes later I get a msg by Uber Eats saying that they canceled my order I called and uber eats and I said I received a msg saying my order was canceled she said that the restaurant canceled it and I called the restaurant the restaurant said oh we didn't canceled I said uber eats it's telling me you called and canceled and then she said ok yes ( I recorded the phone conversation) I did call uber support services to cancel it!! She was so rude over the phone so now I was left with no food and the restaurant took my money because uber eats won't refund my money and actually I was reading the reviews and it looks like they do this as a SCAM it look like I wasn't the first person they've done this too. It's just so sad that they are taking money from hard working people.

Green chile... it was spicy and good. More than enough.

Service was good. The place is small with only a few tables. I'm sure it can get hot because the door stay open. Food was great.

    3. Chilaquiles , messy plate too ( it spilled all over bag )
    Priscilla C.

The chips were ok, but I ordered chips and salsa and chilaquiles. I only received one salsa and the chilaquiles plate was a disappointment , rice wasn't tasty (not Authentic tasting), chilaquiles were too soggy and I requested extra crunchy. Overall bad experience for my first time.

12 dollars for this little POS and it had 80% rice and 20% meat.

Ordered this for ubereats. I ordered two carne asada burritos and it was 80% rice. Freakin scumbags. 12 dollars for this little POS

Friendly service , awesome ambiance, and great food. We had the chilaquiles with verde sauce and a horchata and enjoyed it all.

I ordered the same meal, the veggie tacos, and they were nowhere near as good as the first time. After staying away for a long while, we decided to give Gabbys another shot, but once again the food was underwhelming. This place just seems very inconsistent, and the service was mediocre at best. My wife ordered a steak burrito, and when the food arrived, the burrito had no meat in it at all. She had to send it back. It's hard to understand how a steak burrito goes out without steak. It also feels like everything is pre-batched, which takes away from the quality and freshness. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, I personally would not recommend this place. The food feels very Americanized and lacks the traditional flavor and quality you'd expect from authentic Mexican cuisine.

The beans did not taste watered down, and the enchiladas themselves were flavorful. I always worry about shrimp overpowering the sides of a dish but it tasted great. The rice was also really filling. We had a reservation and they seated us at a pretty big table, which I liked. The servers were very timely, kind, and knowledgeable about each dish on the menu and the rotating specials. The inside of the restaurant was HUGE. I'm pretty sure it was built inside of a church. I really liked the stained glass and elevated seating areas nearby, it reminded me of the Old Spaghetti Factory layout in Fullerton. Overall, I had a very positive experience. I had to get a Diet Coke and of course, it was crisp to my expectations. A little heads-up, unlike the Costa Mesa location, they do not have horchata. Nevertheless, I'd come here again to try their burritos, tostadas, and salads!

When we got there, I let the server know but it didn't seem to matter because he didn't ask my name or time, he just seated us. That works for me! Glad we didn't have to wait, we had to make it a fast meal! We waited about 5 minutes before we were greeted by our waitress. I had seen they had just started serving the soft serve margaritas on their IG and I was SUPER excited to order one! I asked our waitress (Rosie) what flavors were available and she had to ask someone else. Ok, no worries, they had mango and strawberry. I asked for a swirl. My husband ordered a shot of patron anejo sherry cask. She did not seem to understand what he was asking for even though it was an item listed on the menu. He repeated himself a couple times and even pointed to it on the menu before she said "I'll have to check with the bar" she took the rest of our order which consisted of another cocktail, the empanadas, and an order of enchiladas. She left for a bit and came back saying they had his tequila. Then another waitress came back a few moments later asking how he wanted his tequila. After our order was in, we received our chips and salsa. The salsa was delicious! Not too long after, my empanadas came out and they were overdone. Burnt. The pastry was bitter, but not just because it was overcooked, but because it seems like the oil was old. The filling wasn't what I was expecting, but it was tasty. My husband's enchiladas were good. I had one bite. After our meal, husband ordered one more cocktail and the dessert chimichanga. Same bitter oil taste on the chimichanga, I wasn't a fan. When we were brought the check, it turns out we were overcharged for the tequila. We brought it up to the waitress and she told him he ordered a different one when he had repeated "patron anejo sherry cask" to her multiple times. I don't even know if there's more than one sherry cask tequila on the menu! Anyway, she was able to adjust the bill to charge us for the correct tequila but the husband still didn't get to drink the tequila he wanted. Oh well.

The carnitas themselves are the star--tender, juicy pork that's been slow-cooked to perfection with that signature crispy edge on some pieces, delivering rich, savory flavor without being overly greasy. It's seasoned just right, with a nice balance of porky goodness and subtle spices that let the meat shine. Wrapped in a large, fresh flour tortilla (they make their own in-house, which always helps), it's stuffed generously with the classics: fluffy Mexican rice, creamy refried or whole beans (depending on your preference, but both work great), chopped onions, cilantro, and a solid dose of salsa. I went with their green salsa for a bright, tangy kick that cuts through the richness perfectly, plus a dollop of sour cream and cheese for that creamy melt. No skimping on portions here--it's hearty and filling, easily a meal that satisfies for hours. At around $10 (give or take, based on current pricing), it's a great value in the area. The burrito holds together well without falling apart mid-bite, and the overall balance of textures--tender meat, soft rice/beans, crisp onions--makes every mouthful enjoyable. If you're in the mood for classic carnitas done right in a casual, bakery-taqueria spot with great salsas and a friendly vibe, this one's definitely worth grabbing. I'd rate it 4.5 out of 5--only docking half a point because it's not reinventing the wheel, but it's executing the traditional style exceptionally well. Highly recommend if you're near 728 N Tustin St in Orange! Pair it with an horchata, yum
