Chips and salsa were decent, friend asked for beans since she can't eat salsa. Refried bean yuck! Had burnt taste. We ordered chili rellenos after a while and she came back over 10 mins later and said they were out. This is 1pm on a Tuesday, they had maybe 2 other tables with a couple people each. So had a tamale, decent, not the best and not the worst, same for my friend's cheese enchiladas. As we were leaving a dead cockroach by our table. Just gross. Never again read more

Our server Daniella was great! She was patient as I asked several questions about the ingredients. This was our first time eating here. My husband had the chili verde, I had the chicken enchiladas verde and my mom had the shredded beef tacos. We all loved our meals. I also got a side of grilled veggies and a cazuela margarita. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Had to seat ourselves, then waited for 10 minutes to be rudely asked what we wanted to drink. Drinks arrived with chips. Then said we were ready to order and she said she had to get someone else's order first. She then proceeded to do something else. Chips tasted like dirty oil. We threw a five on the table and walked. First time here today and it was amazing! Walked right in, We were able to get the table right away. Nice waitresses and great food. We've been hearing their street tacos are really good and I got to say that was my favorite thing we ordered today. The pastor tacos had some of the best flavor I've ever tried! I also loved the carnitas tacos and could not decide which one was my favorite. Hubby had a shrimp burrito that was served with a really good Chipotle but he said he would get the taco's next time lol. They have great kid meals for $6 and believe it or not they also serve burgers! They also have a full bar which is great! We had black cherry and Cadillac margaritas that were a home run. I really want to give this place 5 stars but there's a couple ways they fell short. The chips tasted stale, the salsa was pretty good. The Quesitacos with Barria beef was good, a little greasy, beans & rice were very good! My husband got the chimichanga, the portions were smaller on his plate, he wanted more beans & rice. Lastly the place could use a thorough cleaning, women's bathroom toilet paper was not installed in dispenser, means everyone's dirty hand are touching your TP. Best chips in Kingman. My favorite Mexican Restaurant in the area. Everything's fresh and home made. Excellent service.

On our way back from Grand Canyon to Vegas, we felt super hungry and wanted to dine somewhere in Kingman as it was time to fill gas. We found this restaurant on google and decided to check it out as it has 4.5 stars on google. When we arrived on the street where it's located, we were a bit skeptical to park the car there and go inside the restaurant as the street looks shady. But we decided to take our chance and parked and went in. There were two ladies working there, one of whom approached us and showed the way to our table. We ordered two Quesadillas and a Tacos Jalisco, both of which tasted like we never had. The portions are humungous, the price is great! The service is super quick. The lady brought two Coke instead of the ordered coffees but was apologetic and quickly brought the coffees. One thing we didn't like were the toilets, both men's and women's, not so clean, but smelly and had black commodes. Apart from this, everything was just amazing! First I called to verify that this restaurant was serving people dining in; during this dreadful pandemic(COVID19) a nonlocal cannot be sure. After walking an extra block further, I discovered that the Apple Maps GPS listed address was incorrect(or my eyes deceived me). At any rate, 509 Beale is the correct location. The building is rather small and inconspicuous. I was pleasantly surprised as the food is good and the service is excellent. Ordered a vegetarian bowl and it was a big disappointment. The veggies were overcooked. Way too much sauce and it was very spicy. There were hardly any beans and they were overcooked and at the bottom. The server never checked on us after we got our food. When she came back to clear our plates she did not ask how our food was. My husband and I went here this morning for the first time. We walked in just before lunch and we were welcomed and told to have a seat anywhere. We received chips & salsa immediately, next drinks and our order was taken. Our meals came out hot and really quickly! The salsa and chips were great, a nice spice to the salsa. I ordered the quesaditacos (Birria with consommé) and my husband ordered the lunch special which was 2 ground beef tacos. My tacos were absolutely amazing!! I've had a lot of different Birria tacos from many locations and these ones are top of the list! The beans and rice were great and nothing was salty. That's typically a complaint I have with Mexican restaurants and this meal was cooked perfectly and not salty. I can't believe we didn't try this place sooner. Chile Verde 2024. It was good but not the Holy Grail of Chile Verde that I had in 2023. See prior picture. I added a day to our travel plans so we could visit this place on the way back from Texas. Not sure why this place gets great reviews. The food was bland at best and raw at worst. Server was rude. Not sure why she thought making fun of us was going to help us enjoy our experience. Also we ordered fajitas but mixed steak and chicken. She added about $7 to the bill because of that. We didn't ask for extra, just a blend. The chicken was raw so we used the residual heat from the fajita pan to cook it. I was really amazed that nothing had any flavor. It was the most bland meal I've had since I was on a liquid diet in the hospital. read more

The food, service and ambiance were all perfect. It was a bit crowded on a Friday night so service was probably slightly slower than usual, but they were so friendly and accommodating. Their special platter was amazing and so were the sides of homemade guacamole and salsa. The only downside I can think of is that their tortilla chips were not warm, but their corn tortillas were perfect. Full of locals and a nice quieter environment than the noisy and crowded brewery across the street. Wonderfully decorated with two screens to watch, if wanted, centered in their nice bar. Been eating here for a few years. Their juice is incredible, deserts and bakery awesome as well. The Carne Asada is not good, more like flavorless hamburger meat. But, the Birria Queso Tacos are incredible. It has a more authentic Mexican food taste with an American restaurant environment. Food usually comes out pretty quick and the staff are friendly. Definitely a repeat spot to stop for lunch, it is a little on the expensive side and there's a fee for using card vs. paying cash. read more

The atmosphere is nice. My favorite meal I've tried here is the carne asada, and even that is not as good as other places around town. I don't love the salsa. A good Mexican restaurant needs to have good chips and salsa. The Chile Relleno was very eggy. I realize that's just one style of Chile Relleno and some people love that, it just wasn't my favorite. I've been here several times and each time was just okay, but nothing to get excited about. One of the times we came we had to wait FOREVER and they didn't even seem very busy. There are so many other great Mexican restaurants in town, I'd just rather go somewhere else. read more

The service is great most of the time but we've had experiences where servers were slow to come to table and food delays. We understand this can sometimes happen so long as it's not too often. Solid 4 stars for good food, reasonable prices, served with a smile, in a restaurant that plays autentico Ranchera music. Tonight I had the carnitas plate (avo slices on the side 'cuz allergic to onions), and hubs had the chicken mole enchilada plate. We both left fully satisfied with enough money left over to get an ice cream cone up the road a bit. Thanks to my fellow Yelpers for the great reviews. I had lunch with some colleagues here for lunch. The food wasn't bad. Wasn't anything to write home about. Service was good. Prices were not too bad. I paid with a debit card. I noticed that I had two pending charges when I checked my account later that day. After a couple days they hard posted and were taken out of my account. I stopped by and spoke to one of the staff. Explained what happened. Showed her picture proof of the double charge. No manager was available at the time so left my information to be called back. Got a call from the lady I left my complaint and information with about what date I was there etc. She said they are looking into it. I said mistakes happen and your books should be off by the amount I was overcharged. She said yea we are seeing that and will get back to you. I waited 4 days and called back. No manager available. The lady I spoke to on the phone was aware of the situation. I waited another day and have had to take action on my side to get my money back. This was my first time in and after this ordeal with "no manager available" on a few occasions and no phone call back it is my last. Which is too bad it was a convenient lunch spot. Check your bills and keep your receipts or pay cash with these guys......it makes me nervous that they don't have a manager or owner on duty most of the time as well..... read more

Ceviche is fresh and delicious. Chimichanga a little small but the meat was good quality, cooked perfectly, and full of flavored. Fish tacos lunch special tasty but didn't care for the chipotle added to the sauce. Chips are great salsa was ok. Service outstanding!!! Facility is very clean including restrooms.
