I had two different versions of it. The fried chicken with fries and sauce on the side was definitely my favorite. The Pollo chuco comes with coleslaw, tajadas, picked onions and this creamy and sauce. At first it was tasty but then the sauce was just too much for me. Next time I'm going to ask for the sauce on the side. The chicken was really flavorful and fried to perfection. It's a very big portion too. Their natural juices are very good and sweet. I am so glad my regular pepito spot was too packed and my friend and I decided to open our hearts and stomachs to a new place. Turns out the owner used to own and run a pepito stand in Maracay (Venezuela) for 15 years before having to immigrate and is now living his American dream serving his pepitos. I inhaled my pepito so quickly I barely remember it, but I do remember the meat itself was delicious and everything was well seasoned. The sauces were plentiful and always appreciated. I spent a couple of hours there catching up with my friend, and for a moment I almost felt like I was back home... I had the bacon Cheddar fries and a Fritiburger. The fries come topped with chives. They are fresh and delicious and an explosion in your mouth. The Burger is out of this world too. It's a meat pattie topped with queso mano, salsa verde, shredded cabbage, shoestring fries, and has slices of sweet plantains. The sweet plaintains is what takes it to the other level. By the way they also make this with chicken if you like. When I went the owner was there serving just like if he was a regular employee.
