    Happy baby with her berries.
    Roberta C.

We have been doing soccer on Saturday mornings and having fun exploring new places for breakfast ok the way back home. So glad we have because this place was fantastic. They brought out fresh berries for my kids as an adorable appetizer without being asked. Such a cute surprise. I got the Mexican omelette (peppers, onions, crumbled chorizo yummm) which came with perfectly seasoned home fries. So many places just do plain potatoes but these were expertly prepared and then grilled to perfection. My husband got the stuffed pancake and chose pineapple as his filling. Fluffy and delicious!

This used to be my go to spot, my comfort place. Last week I went there and put my drinks on the counter while waiting to pay it came to 15$ , then she opened my bag like i was trying to steal my two dollar water, but i figured whatever maybe she didn't see it. But today I went in and got two chicken cutlet sandwiches with American cheese and lettuce and a chicken quesadilla and three sodas, it came to over 60$. Sad to say I will not be returning.

Stopped in Wednesday morning before leaving the Sea Pirate campground. Place is a little gem. Delicious pancakes and french toast. Cheap prices and great service. I will be back!

Carne asada was too well done and chewy, other than that, a pretty varied menu and quality food, hasty and friendly service

The best Mexican food around and very reasonably priced. We get takeout at least once a week.

The woman who owns it is the cook and is a very nice lady. I wanted enchiladas which wasn't on the menu, but she said "I'll make them for you anyway." Also the portion sizes are extremely big here probably almost triple of other restaurants, so you get a lot for your dollar, which is awesome in today's economy. Everyone go try them out, you won't be sorry!

The first was a chorizo quesadilla. It came deconstructed, basically a plain quesadilla (meat and cheese), I got it with cheddar and Jack cheese, and the lettuce, tomato and a bit of cheese on the side. It came with sour cream and guacamole on the side as well. It was tasty, for sure, but it was also a whole tortilla, not cut. The meat was also super greasy. I also got a carne asada burrito. That too had lettuce and tomato on the side, how I would put that in, I'm not sure. It was just meat, cheese and rice. The sour cream came in handy as it was a bit dry. The flavor was there, but the meat was fatty and had gristle. Not great in a burrito. Overall, it was tasty, but average. Hoping if we get it again it'll be better.

I already knew it had to be something exciting, and most likely Belgian or French inspired, so while we were waiting at the doctor's office I did a bit of digging and found their site, and the wonder of this amazing place was on full display. Not just sweet waffles and breakfast but also delicious savory waffles that are also sandwiches and so much more! My experience here was amazing. It did take a little while for my sandwich to be prepared, I ordered "the Frenchie" probably because I came earlier than lunch is usually served. While I waited, the wonderful woman working the front was making some of the sugar pearled waffles and she walked through the entire process with me and answered all my annoying questions. It was all just so damn interesting, I couldn't get enough! So after waiting about ten to fifteen minutes, I finally got my sandwich and didn't think to check it because I was just so excited, and hopped back in the car to head home and enjoy it while Jen drove. Well after getting a little ways away, I open the box to find the magical waffle sandwich hot, smelling delectable and notice that it was devoid of nearly ALL the ingredients. No lettuce, tomato, or red onion that was supposed to be on there were there. I was immediately heartbroken because I was SO excited. Luckily, the sandwich was still so freakin good, that without the accoutrement, it was still so impressive, I will definitely be going back the minute I am back in the area, likely at Penn Medicine. Shame it was wrong or I could've said this place was perfect and out my heart into giving it a perfect score. You should go here. Like as fast as you can. The hours are a little strange but the bright colors inside and small space are cute and make it a nice little space to enjoy your waffles from heaven. The little waffle guys with eyes are so awesome and only make it even better. They are obviously still going through some growing pains as they open up and grow as a business, but I beg that you support this place because I want it to be here for many years. I want one to open by me, and I can afford to buy into a franchise. So please, go try La Liegeoise now, and enjoy a waffle for me!
