When I questioned the manager about this, I was met with excuses rather than a resolution. Point is that management can help prevent this by adding the debit card fee everywhere the rule is posted. It is clear this practice is about padding the restaurant's bottom line rather than covering costs. While our server was wonderful and not at fault, the management's lack of transparency is unacceptable. I like Callaway's but don't like their management who take no responsibility in rectifying this simple problem.
