My favorite place for a wet burrito. They are never skimpy on the meat and sauce. You are able to call your orders in for pick up.

Don't get me wrong, I love the food here and would absolutely recommend anyone try it. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the service can.be a bit bad at times. Ordering by phone may not guarantee your food will be done in the time they tell you it will be and other times the phone doesn't even work. On top of that I've had a handful of times where they get my order wrong. This is my absolute favorite Mexican food restaurant. The food is authentic and delicious. My favorite is definitely the green costillas combo. The fresh horchata and Jamaica are also amazing. I just came from that restaurant I place my order which was some chilaquiles a beef soup and a burrito and two Cokes the chilaquiles and the Cokes were to dine in and the rest to go.... the girl on the register seem very serious but I didn't think much of it we proceeded to sit down then she comes with a cup of soda and Two regular can Coke's... I explained to her that we ordered fountain drinks not can she said oh ok and left .. moments later we asked her if she was going to bring the drink back she said no you didn't pay for it I only charged you for one but she had a really bad attitude she said I could bring you the drink that you have to get up and pay for it and I told her we understand he has to be paid for but we are okay.... I just told her you dropped off two drinks before but they were the wrong ones and now we didn't pay for it I told her I'm just not going to bother having this discussion anymore what she said to me I'm not going to argue with you either.. (with a bad attitude) so it made me mad I told her you know what I'm not going to eat here so I went to the registered so I can get my money back it was almost $40 anyways she precedes to go talk to the manager before I get to talk to the manager so she could give her side of the story of course... one of the managers came to the register and greeted me and she's mad because she has to give me the money back and I explained to the other manager what happened as she continued to argue with me and talking about how I was making her mad and how I always come into that restaurant and give her attitude but this is the first time I see her in my life she was talking over me which I understand you know sometimes customers could be rude but this wasn't the case but she kept on attacking... El Pueblito is a Mexican food restaurant it has varieties of Mexican dishes. For example el caldo de pollo one of my favorite from this restaurant. It contains pollo, carrots, potato, and squash. El caldo de pollo is very good especially with some handmade torillas. The beverages are also great. I will recommend getting any aguas frescas. This place is cheap if you are the type of person that like saving money. They accept cedit cards just in case you don't have cash. They have a number so you can call them to order food to pick up and they do not deliver. Which is awesome so you can tell them what time you'll be picking the food up or can ask how long they going to take in case you are in a rush. Great service inside the restaurant it is clean. You never see any table dirty and they also have restrooms. Which are clean as well. The restaurant is medium restaurant. Good to bring family to eat any day. I have been coming here for a while. I usually get the wet burrito de asada. It's bomb. The food in general is really good. It's authentic but I do wish the salsa was a spicier. I waited 10 minutes to place an order because it is a busy Sunday afternoon. Out of nowhere, the cook, who was not wearing gloves, calls his friend over who was in the back of the line to the front. He takes his friend's order, takes the money, handles the grimy, dirty cash register and goes right back to cooking. I informed the cashier about it and she straight out lied to my face that he washed his hands. He didn't because I watched him from the minute he left the grill. I've given this place soo many chances. I've ordered caldo and takes forever to come.mojarras are great but poorly seasoned. I've ordered sopes and as every costumer that enter, we don't expect to see anything wrong with the food because we choose to trust the people that make it and guess what. I found a long hair just I was finishing my sope. I was soooo grossed out. Most workers are nice but are poorly treated by who I suppose is the owner of this establishment. So far the best place in town for Mexican food!

Came in and ordered a torta, four tacos and a burrito. I received terrible service, the cashiers were all very rude, and I had to wait nearly 35 minutes for my food. I understand they're busy but waiting 15 minutes in line then another 35 for my order seemed excessive, especially when my order was not large or complex. When I received my order the presenter was even more rude than the cashier was, and took an attitude with me for no reason. I asked her if they could add more guacamole to the salsa bar and after waiting for it for another 10 minutes I became upset and left. The food is good but not worth the terrible service,or lack of service, I received. I will not be recommending this place to my friends or family, and they should definitely not count on me paying them a visit again. read more

I've come to this restaurant a few times (both busy and practically empty) as a way to get the best opinion as my first visit wasn't so great. The food is good, that's no doubt, but if your willing to wait a while (a very long while) to actually get it. I came in for a jugo natural and it took them an hour to make it. That's ridiculous. Been coming here since they opened back in the 90s. Prices are ok, the service is regular, the food portions are small & the food is good. The only thing I've always disliked about them is how stingy they can get when it comes to certain things. Their Menudo is good, the tacos are small but tasty. Some of the best tacos I've ever had! Super spacious. Great service. Friendly workers. So much variety. Definitely prefer to take the trip to get food here rather than the rigos tacos closed to where I live. The foods not greasy. Every time I go, I go for the carne asada tacos. Well I finally experienced a restaurant that forgot about the word FRESH! Tortillas arrive very hard even when you order tacos....I ordered the shrimp gorditas and were almost black and very dry I could throw one at somebody and hurt them...my wife had the flautas and she said they were OK...that's were the second star comes in... 1st time to this restaurant and the food was basic. what had me worried was the girl that hands out the orders. She gave my food to someone else that had a phone order. I felt that was my order but I waited I told my friend this chick don't know what's she's doing and the way everyone else was working she was working half ass lazy... soon enough the lady came back and said she had the wrong order and it was mines. They need to replace that lady because she can't handle the front. When I received my food the portion size was small and the beans and rice had no flavor .
