Visited this establishment recently. The interior of the restaurant had quite a few tables and even a bar if you're still inclined to have a few drink drinks.. however it was too early for drinks so we just had a meal. The food is made to order and was good and the staff were very polite and helpful if we had any questions. Would go back and maybe try an entrée because last time I got an appetizer cause I wasn't very hungry. read more

We went to Prescott for a day. Stumbled upon this restaurant on our way back. Parking was a breeze, once entered were greeted by very friendly staff. The restaurant appeared to be very clean and welcoming. It had a home vibe. Like home away from home. Very cozy and quiet. The server was a young sweet girl. She went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our delicious meal. They offer array of delicious seafood options. Everything was delicious and portions were just perfect. Unfortunately, this establishment is no longer the place it was - the food quality and service has degraded in the past year. We were there on Saturday around 1 pm, the most busiest time of the day to our surprise there were only a couple of tables occupied. The waitress was nice but for some reason was forgetful on bringing us our beers & water after we requested them when we first got seated. The food was not good. I had a taco shell salad with chicken... well, sadly the chicken was partially frozen in the middle. The taco shells that were served with our other party plate were the ones you buy at the market (pre made) or get at Taco Bell. For a Mexican establishment that states they are "authentic" it was very disappointing. We had not been there for over a year since we then noticed service and food quality was declining but now after our 1 year absence it's a DEFINITE unanimous decision not to return. read more

We had not returned to this restaurant for a couple years, due to some negative experiences there. Previously the food had not been fresh or particularly good, particularly on Taco Tuesday when the tacos seemed greasy and, oh no!; made with ground beef. We needed to eat somewhere near the Home Depot complex at highway 69 and Stoneridge Drive, about late afternoon, so thought "well, we'll give it a shot." From the moment we walked in the door and were seated and throughout the entire experience, it was all five stars! Not only was the service outstanding, the happy hour beverage specials were over the top generous (50% off beers & house margaritas), and our fajitas with multiple sides offered at no extra charge, were superb. I am very happy to say that we will be returning and also hoping that the reviews for this restaurant begin improving as well. read more

I Ordered the chimichanga. I'm not sure how they serve their chimichangas but obviously very soft when I've gone to other restaurants they've been crunchy. The beans were not even cooked all the way. The salsa was pure water. The only good thing was the chips and the sour cream. Delicious food but poor customer service. We ordered the molcajetes with everything. It's definitely more than enough for 2 people. It comes with nopales (cactus), queso fresco, beef, chicken and chorizo. On the side there's beans and rice. Overall this was good Mexican food but the three stars are for the lack of and poor service. The waitress had no customer service training. She didn't bother to check back on us nor smiled nor acknowledge us when entering and sitting down. You could tell she was annoyed by being at work. Beautiful restaurant and lounge. Everybody does their best to make you feel welcome. Entrance and exit are tricky. The prices of their food were actually a little better than Lindos's, but their Happy Hour isn't even close. A Dos Equis, I believe, is $2.68 at Lindos on Thursday HH for the same beer is twice as much as this place. I think 4.25. Good for Best Western Motel, but that's about it. read more

We came in for a late lunch / early dinner and were seated immediately. After ordering some drinks, we started chowing down on the most flavorful and a bit spicy, salsa. It was pretty great and didn't last long. We ordered a beef chimichanga and Chile Colorado. Both had tender meat and the flavors were bright and seasoned to our liking. Fast, friendly and tasty! What's not to like? My parents eat here frequently and were eager to introduce me to the burritos that are the size of a large baby. We opted for take away instead of dining in as Larry S. was not feeling well. My dad called in the order for four burritos... we had the pollo asada (mom), fajita burrito (Larry), burrito macho (dad) and the garden fresco burrito (moi). On the phone, they advised that once we arrived and paid, there would be a ~ 10 minute wait for the food, so we departed directly after ordering. Once we arrived, the super friendly staff mentioned that they were getting a lot of no-shows which equals food waste (apparently, there is another location elsewhere causing confusion) which is why they don't prepare the order until you show up. No mind because the wait was really very short! The smells coming from the dining room hinted at great things to come, and we were NOT disappointed! I particularly liked the garden fresco burrito because it didn't come with refried beans, guacamole or cheese, three things that ruin Mexican food for me. June 26, 2021. 3.3 stars. First time here today. This location used to be Lindo Mexico restaurant. Pretty sure it's the exact same food and menu, just a business name change to Mi Tierra Mexicana. I like that they offer black beans which should be the gold standard at all Mexican restaurants. Salsa was very good. Thin and not chunky with onion. Thankfully it's NOT garden salsa (which I hate). Multicolor chips are fun but kinda gimmicky. Cheese on top of enchilada should have been melted more. Needs more time under a broiler before being served. I want to see black scorch marks on that cheese! It tastes better like that. Food overall is pretty good here. It's not extraordinary Mexican food but it's good enough. At least this area (Prescott) has finally got some semi-decent Mexican food. For years good mexican food was non existent here. I'm from Los Angeles area and I'm a serious Mexican food fanatic, a critic an aficionado. When it comes to real deal Mexican food, I'm always on the hunt for it.
