    Peaches & Burrata

This place has a nice Italian bistro feel with attentive servers who are knowledgeable about the menu. I opted for the peaches and burrata. The dish was tasty and fresh. The ambiance was great and felt right at home.

This Italian restaurant is solid and a fits in well with all the different establishments on Main Street! I came for brunch and enjoy the spaciousness of the 1st floor! That is an additional level and a bar with many seats! I chose to have the Baby Wedge and Short Rib Hash...my friend had the Crème Brûlée Stuffed Brioche! The wait staff was attentive and the portions of the food were generous! The meal required additional seasoning, but overall flavorful! We were celebrating our birthday's! I will return to experience more of the menu!

One of my girlfriends brought me to Mia Ragazza to celebrate my birthday. This has to be a favorite for all the locals in the Manayunk area. We found parking right out front on a weekday evening. It's metered and you can conveniently pay using the Park Mobile app. Saying they have a fantastic Happy Hour menu is an understatement. The Happy Hour specials will not disappoint. We ordered the whipped ricotta with 30 minutes to spare. It was a large portion for two people. It had a hint of lemon flavor and the sliced pita bread was soft. Just a few moments before we got the whipped ricotta, we were served complimentary focaccia bread with olive oil. It was also quite delicious and salted nicely. It's vibrant and lively inside. I enjoyed the dim lighting and the music they had playing the most. The eggplant rollatini really knocked my socks off. Looking at it made my mouth water. The rollatini was fried underneath the sauce! Even though this caught me by surprise, it was a very flavorful way to change up the dish. I'm used to having it baked. You can tell the sauce is homemade and simmered to perfection. Service was fast and friendly by both the hostess and waitress. There were several customers waiting to be seated when we left, which reassures me this isn't a place that has hit-or-miss moments. They must be consistent every time. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Manayunk!

My family of 5 arrived at 9:05 the other night requesting a table for 5. The hostess stumbled with her words until she settled on we don't seat tables of 5. She alluded to us splitting up and then went back to "Yea, we just don't do that!" and walked away. Funny their reservations go much later than 9 and tables of 5 are an option. She even suggested we go to a neighboring restaurant to get a table of 5. Love the food but, will not return.

The happy hour of all happy hours, it's a shame I haven't tried more items off of their full menu. I adore this place, thanks to the recommendation of my friends who travelled over an hour to come here. Burnt pepperoni pizza, short rib pizza, and the meatball left me wanting more and more and more. The cocktail was also delicious!

I had been wanting to try Mia for so long! I took my son here for his 13th bday because he loves Vodka pasta. We went early and were able to get Happy Hour Specials (some cheap glasses of House wines, app specials, and a selection of $11 pizzas). We opted for the vodka pasta (I got mine with burrata and it HITTTTT), the whipped ricotta and my other son demolished the pep pizza. The atmosphere was calm and ambience with very cool. Special shoutout to Nick our server. He was attentive and kind to us. A great experience and will definitely be back!

Delicious handmade pasta! Our favorite was the short rib parpadelle. The parpadelle pasta itself felt very thin and delicate, like light blankets, and tasted delicious! The lettuce in the Caesar salad was fresh, and the Parmesan shredded super finely. The meatball was excellent too. And the foccaccia! So chewy and satisfying. The doppio was good but not exactly my favorite flavor. I think I was a bit thrown off by the lemon but that is just my opinion. Otherwise will definitely be back again!

Mia in Manayunk is a solid choice for well-executed Italian food. We were started with fresh focaccia and olive oil, which was a great way to begin the meal. For appetizers, we shared the meatball and the gnocchi. The meatball was tender and flavorful, served in marinara, topped with whipped ricotta, and garnished with focaccia. The gnocchi was pillowy and cooked perfectly. For my entrée, I ordered the Casarecce with lemon crab crème fraîche and grilled shrimp, and it was excellent. The sauce was more than just lemony. It was creamy and rich, with sliced garlic adding real depth. The lemon added brightness without overpowering the dish, and the toasted breadcrumbs on top gave the perfect contrast in texture. The grilled shrimp were cooked just right. We sat upstairs in the enclosed rooftop area, which had a really nice ambiance. Service was about a 3/5--pleasant but a little hands-off. Overall, the food and atmosphere made it a spot I'd return to.

The ambience was excellent. They have indoor, outdoor, and rooftop seating. The drinks were good, and I had the rolled lasagna, and my friend had the salmon. The waiter could have been more attentive and come to the table for refills more often, which would have earned them five stars

First time going and it was happy hour. I'd heard of this place before and had it on my list to try, so was happy when the person I was meeting with suggested it. I lucked out on getting parking right in front of the restaurant - yes, right on Main St at 4:30/4:45 on a weekday in Manayunk. Cute vibe with dimmed lights. Staff are all really friendly, greeting me with really good, positive energy and smiles when I first walked in. Bartender was cool also and helpful in choosing a drink. We ordered a few things from the happy hour menu to share: Calamari, Bruschetta and the Burnt Pepperoni pizza. Everything came out hot and fresh, and was very tasty. The price is good too! Specialty cocktails for $8?? Apps that are good portion sizes, tasty and filling for $9??? Recommend giving them a try. I plan to come back for happy hour and would want to try them for dinner sometime too.

Stopped in with a colleague of mines for a quick brunch before she headed out of town. It was her second time visiting the city and she wanted to experience a different neighborhood in Philly so I brought her to my neck of the woods , Manayunk. I've eaten dinner here before and that was good; but I was even more excited to check out the brunch and Sunday happy hour here. The service was alright, nothing special but nothing bad happened either lol. Last time I sat outside, so this time I got the chance to experience the interior. The ambiance of the restaurant was comfortable and provided plenty of natural lighting which I love--Perfect for a 1-on-1 or small group outing but it is kind of small. Now for the food--starting with the sangria; very fresh and light but will catch up to you if you know what I mean lol. The variety of parties all were very tasty as we started out with that. I had the crème brûlée stuffed brioche which was impossible to eat in one setting but was absolutely delicious and probably would be what I'd order again when I return. My colleague had the short rib hash which she was able to finish and really enjoyed. Moreover, brunch was a success! Thanks Mia Ragazza

The food is delicious and unbeatable when paired with their chili oil and dumpling sauce. You can really taste the love in their handmade dumpling, roast pork buns have lots of filling and not too sweet compared to other places. I usually order 4 smalls things and one entree and share. I will say that their main dishes i.e. the general tso's and sesame chicken aren't my favorites, they are cooked really well and portion size was great, but their sauce is slightly too sweet for me. But ANYTHING dipped in their chili oil/dumpling sauce makes it soooo good. So I still order one of the entrees every time lol I will say I pass on their milk bubble teas (not sure about fruit drinks) but as a former employee at multiple boba tea places, it wasn't good. I think it's because they are really not the focus, but unless they can make time to make them better, it should just not be offered. For 20+ years, I've known La Collina to be that fancy and classic-looking Italian restaurant on the hill that I've been needing to try. But it took coming across its name when doing my research for possible spots to go to for my birthday to put one and two together, and it led to quite the majestic experience. The friendly and hilarious valet attendants ensured that service was incredible before we even entered the building. And upon entry, we were treated to spot-on recommendations and quality service throughout the evening. For cocktails, I was in awe of the Anejo Old Fashioned, which used Patron and agave syrup instead of the usual whiskey offering, and I also appreciated the classic Negroni. For appetizers, the classic meatballs with homemade marinara and ricotta were an absolute delight, and the eggplant rolatini with spinach, prosciutto, and mozzarella was sheer perfection at its most decadent. For my entrée, I initially expected that I would be eating all the pasta. But the restaurant is also known for its seafood, and the risotto frutti di mare especially caught my eye. and with its calamari, clams, mussels, and shrimp, and perfectly cooked and seasoned rice it absolutely delivered the flavors! Toss in a salted caramel chocolate soufflé with a candle on top, and it easily made for another memorable birthday dinner and a deserving place to recommend!

It was still quite hot outside, so we opted to sit inside. We were taken up to the second floor and had a table with a nice view of the Schuylkill River. We ordered two appetizers - Nonna's Meatballs and the Crispy Eggplant. I almost always order meatballs if they are on the menu. The first bite of a meatball was a little disappointing-it had a harder texture with a chewier bite. I know everyone has different preferences, but I prefer a softer textured meatball. I expected marinara (didn't read the description - '...with a sage veal jus') and was surprised to see a shallow dark colored sauce. The sauce had an interesting taste - lots of flavor - if the beef and pork meatball had any flavor, it was overwhelmed by the sauce. I'll say I liked the sauce for 'a change', however, I would have preferred marinara. The next appetizer was much better - the Crispy Eggplant. The rectangular shaped cuts of eggplant had been coated with breadcrumbs and crispy shallots with a hint of lemon. There were two little containers of dill yogurt for dipping. The eggplant was fresh, the breadcrumbs combined with the crispy shallots made for a delicious coating! The dill yogurt was a wonderful dip. It was an excellent appetizer. For our entree, we ordered the Mushroom Zucchini pizza with fontina cheese, thyme, truffle oil and chili flakes (I somehow 'missed seeing' the chili flakes). I don't tolerate spice and would have excluded the chili flakes, but it was a very limited amount and the heat was fine (my partner likes a little heat and loved it). The pizza was divine - large, delicious mushrooms and thin slices of zucchini covered the top, the truffle oil gave it a special flavor and the fontina cheese reminded me why I love a good 'white pizza'! While the meal got off to a 'tough' start, it ended up nicely and we'll be back to try some of the pasta dishes!
