Great bartenders! I enjoyed the high tide followed by a peach lemonade shotsicle. The shotsicles are totally worth it especially on a hot/humid day! For a small collection of spirits, they a lot of good picks. Also, we are fans of the boba! There's plenty of seating, both covered and open, along with bar seating. I'd say this can be a date spot while being group friendly. It's a small food menu so take a peek before heading for a full meal. Chicken tenders and fries did not disappoint. Hope to be back!

The PHS Pop Up in Manayunk is a great place to enjoy an outdoor drink and relax with friends. I love how they expanded the offerings this season to include more games (and even more room). While you may think of them as a simple beer garden, they offer much more including great cocktails and food. If you've followed my reviews, you know I am not much of a beer drinker. The cocktails at this pop up are very tasty and don't cost you much more than a typical beer. You can also buy in pitchers to save a few dollars. Their food offerings are limited. To be honest, I would recommend you aim to enjoy dinner elsewhere on main street. However, if you are in a pinch, or are looking for a snack, the pop up does have you covered.

We accidentally discovered this place while walking down memory lane. It's such a nice space. The people working there were friendly. Great drink options. The snacks we at there were all good. Highly highly recommend!

This was our last (and best) stop of the night. We saw the sign 'beer garden', followed it, and voila - spacious outdoor area filled with pretty lights, cute decor, a variety of beer and good cocktails. The cocktails were unique and delicious. Our group got the woodermelon, old fashioned and skinny margarita. It was hot that day and I could've gotten a pitcher of the woodermelon for sure. It was refreshing and had fresh watermelon - not artificial flavorings. Be sure to stop by before the pop up disappears for the summer. I know I will.

I always liked this place but what they did with a design this year is out of this world! I literally would go back just to sit in the beer garden again to admire beautiful decor! Kudos for easy ordering system, each table has its own barcode, all you have to do is scan, pay, and someone will bring stuff right to your table.

First back for the season! PHS is back and so much better than last year. They have permanent rest rooms, a game area, and the bar seating is finally open (it wasn't because covid restrictions last year.) They also expanded there beer list, and NA drinks too.

Typically love this place for the vibe and cute outdoor space in the middle of a city. They have great events and everyone is friendly. BEWARE vegans/vegetarians as today my Mom ordered the impossible burger and was served a regular cheeseburger. She took 2 bites, not thinking anything of it since vegan cheese and fake burgers have some a long way. It wasn't until the waitress came running out with the correct burger. She was very apologetic, and luckily, my mom isn't vegan, but this would be a devastating mistake to someone who is. The waitress then came over with a drink coupon, but we didn't feel that it gave the beef/vegan swap justice. Today, we felt the whole order was overpriced for only 2 drinks and food that didn't leave any of us full. We ordered 3 food items, 2 beers, one soda, and a 20% tip it was $80. Only 2 tacos for the crispy chicken order, an impossible burger (no sides), and a small flatbread but still left us unfilled. The tacos I had were tasty, and I heard the BBQ chicken flatbread was as well.

Great new perennial in the PHS slate of popup gardens. They converted an old rail yard to an urban oasis, full of indigenous plants. This year includes additional seating, games, and permanent bathrooms! This complimented by the great cocktails, expanded beer list and casual food menu. Great for groups, or an intimate night out.

My friends and I decided to meet for drinks on a nice Saturday afternoon. We loved the cocktails, the atmosphere, and the food (the chicken finger basket was HUGE!). We look forward to coming back for future events, including the Yappy Hour next Sunday.

    Shrimp Roll, no flavor.

I was a big fan of the Woodermelon, it was super refreshing and didn't taste artificial or overly sweet.

The restaurant is typical of a neighborhood restaurant with nice wooden tables and chairs with a very friendly accommodative staff. Food: For Appetizers. Then taleggio crostini with a sun-dried tomato fig spread on top WOW a must try and lastly the Roman flat bread with short rib, fig, caramelized onion and Gorgonzola cheese. MOUTH WATERING. Main course we had the fettuccine lamb ragu very flavorful. Pappardelle braised short rib very good sauce and flavorful. This is where things got crazy, we got the Amatriciana it came with sausage and conchilege pasta a NO NO, it is made with guanciale over bucatini however it was ok.

But this is also fitting…read moresince whether its been driving by it back in the day, or through gazing up at it on the hill when I was in Manayunk, La Collina is one of those places that has been in my peripheral vision for a few decades now! For 20+ years, I've known La Collina to be that fancy and classic-looking Italian restaurant on the hill that I've been needing to try. But it took coming across its name when doing my research for possible spots to go to for my birthday to put one and two together, and it led to quite the majestic experience. The friendly and hilarious valet attendants ensured that service was incredible before we even entered the building. And upon entry, we were treated to spot-on recommendations and quality service throughout the evening. For cocktails, I was in awe of the Anejo Old Fashioned, which used Patron and agave syrup instead of the usual whiskey offering, and I also appreciated the classic Negroni. For appetizers, the classic meatballs with homemade marinara and ricotta were an absolute delight, and the eggplant rolatini with spinach, prosciutto, and mozzarella was sheer perfection at its most decadent. For my entrée, I initially expected that I would be eating all the pasta. But the restaurant is also known for its seafood, and the risotto frutti di mare especially caught my eye. and with its calamari, clams, mussels, and shrimp, and perfectly cooked and seasoned rice it absolutely delivered the flavors! Toss in a salted caramel chocolate soufflé with a candle on top, and it easily made for another memorable birthday dinner and a deserving place to recommend!

Very disappointed in La Collina…read more We ALWAYS wanted to go here because we love italian and it looked awesome on the hill overlooking Manayunk. We booked reservations for our wedding anniversary here. I specifically asked for a window overlook view seat. This was not granted and we were placed in the back room by the bar. Service was poor. We spent 2 and a half hours at this restaurant mostly waiting for the food to come out and the server to bring us our check. I don't believe the server came back for drink refills until after we were done with out meals. The serving sizes like stated in other reviews are very poor for the price you pay. For 2 to eat here you are pushing 100 easily. I got the chicken parm and pretty sure there was a out 12-15 noodles with it. My wife did enjoy her seafood pasta with scallops, but the price outweighed the amount for sure. Overall I had high expectations for this place and it let us down big time. Hopefully they continue to improve so we can give it another chance.

There are 3 floors with three separate gorgeous eating areas and 3 full service bars. I loved the decorative tequila bottles and the aesthetic of each floor. Definitely worth taking time to explore. We stopped by before catching an amazing show at Fallser Club. We were pleasantly surprised to receive an extra 10% discount on our food by showing our tickets. We had cocktails and got our food to go to eat at the venue. You won't find food pictures from me in this review because due some dietary restrictions my food wasn't packaged as it usually is served. For the next show we will be going early and eating onsite to fully enjoy all Cresta has to offer. We will also make sure to sit on the 3rd floor rooftop level to enjoy the view where the very large windows are opened to enjoy the fresh air when Mother Nature cooperates. Back to to the food and drink. The cocktails are unique, gorgeous and delicious. Each one crafted with garnishes like fresh orange peel and pineapple leaves. Cocktails can be ordered with sugar, salt, or tajan on the rims. I highly recommend the apple cider margarita and the La Kartina hibiscus cocktail. The photos don't even do them justice. I ordered the plantains, deconstructed veggie tacos and a side of Al pastor chicken. I also had a side of the guacamole. The guacamole was so fresh and flavorful and I loved the cheese added to the top. The chicken was flavorful, well seasoned and very colorful. The plantains were the perfect level of sweetness. Now, about that the art! I loved the decor and art. The art around the restaurant and the tshirts employees wore were designed by a bartender who I didn't get to meet. The murals were so colorful and detailed. One was more beautiful than the next. I found a very cool selfie mirror on the 2nd floor that I loved! The artist's insta handle was on the wall as well and is included in my photos. From an accessibility standpoint, the second and third floors can only be reached by stairs and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Thank you Cresta for accommodating our large party for cocktails and takeout. I can't wait to come back for the full experience!

For an appetizer we shared a couple Margarita Pizzas, they were amazing! They also brought some bread, hint save some bread to soak up all that sauce let on your pasta plate! I ordered the Short Rib Gnocchi, and it was excellent, tender short rib, pillowy gnocchi, and a flavorful herbed wine sauce that brought everything together perfectly. Someone at our table ordered the Marry Me Tagliatelle, and wow... it was so good I'm actually glad I didn't order it.
