Sam fixed the AC in my old Honda Civic Hybrid for a small fraction of the cost that the dealer wanted to charge me because he's smart enough to know how to repurpose used hybrid parts. He also fixed little things, like my loose bumper, without even mentioning it! A brilliant guy and a real mensch. When you go to his shop, know that you're in good hands.

He was able to see my precious, gas-sipping investment as soon as I pulled up, just like in the past. He whipped out his iPad to run the diagnostic and within five minutes I was on my merry way, as he confirmed it was just a loose gas cap. I tried to give him ten bucks but he insisted I go on...I have been almost victimized at two chain dealerships, namely Toyota red mcombs off 10 and hausman and even where I purchased my vehicle at Cavender s Toyota ...I forget which one once said I had a leaking gasket/engine problem and wanted 2k to fix it (this was not true and car has been running like a champ 3.5 years since then). Anyhoo, this guy Sam I would trust with my life, my wife, kids and life earnings and I will see him for my vehicle needs the rest of my life, in fact I will always buy hybrid just to make sure he can work on it as That is his specialty. When you find Good people you hold on to them!

She has her car towed to Chad Miller Auto Care and calls me to say she needs a new battery and is being quoted $645. I ask her to hand her phone to an employee, and when I asked why this is so expensive the employee raised their voice at me. I asked for a manager and was informed it was Chad himself I was talking to. I would NOT suggest this mechanic. He is unprofessional and perpetuates the negative stereotype of crooked mechanics preying on young women.

Mine has an oil leak at least 4 different places haven't been able to figure out. Chad's garage gave me some hope, but they were never able to fix it. I take pretty much all "guarantees" with a grain of salt. "Bring it back"...pffft why would I? You couldn't fix it the First time? More likely, I'll just be dumping more money in sonl you can "half fix it" a 2nd time. One mechanic even told my wife to "hit the dash when her A/C wasn't kicking on...AFTER they fixed it. GTFO... Really!? Cost wasn't exactly on the cheap side...maybe fair, but ONLY if they fix the problem. My impression is they had way more cars than they could handle and were trying to rush them outa there. Fair enough, but I will not be taking either of ours back. Fair warning to those that do.

I drove & dropped my car off for a diagnosis, they said $65. They called me a couple days later &…read moretold me the problem which then I told them to go ahead & fix it. They called me again & said there was another problem needed fixing and would cost me $3000 more. I don't have that so I declined. They then did not want to fix the original issue & told me to pick my car up. When I went to pick it up they charged me $150 when originally stated $65. The guy goes to start my car for me and then gets out & tells me my car won't start. They did not put my car back together & left the stuff in my back seat & told me to call a tow truck. I drove my car in ... I expected to drive it out. Now I am out of a car with a new born who has multiple appointments & a 2 year old. Thankyou RPM .
