The rudest front desk I've ever encountered refused to help and insisted on keeping my car there for two weeks in order to schedule an appointment and file an insurance claim for the most straightforward fix. The mechanics never even came out to offer assistance, and it was the worst place ever. Correction rudest OWNER! My car wouldn't start, so I had to wait there for more than an hour for help to arrive. MaxCare is a real thing. Look it up, dear. Went in and received excellent and professional service. They worked on the rear brakes, replaced my belt tensioner, and replaced the valve cover gasket. They have a warranty on their work and when an issue occurred with a part failing, they were quick to set up a day for me to come in and had me driving safely home that same day without hassle. I find their prices fair and extremely reasonable, especially if you value safety. I will recommend them to everyone. read more

what started as a convenient and affordable simple basic oil change under $25 basically ended up costing me over $200 total to fix their mistake. Brought my car in September for an oil change. Decided to invest in premium amsoil and filter and crush washer as my car is getting close to 80k miles and I want to sustain its life. Oil change went smoothly, paid cash and left tip. Then a few days later noticed oil spots in my personal space at my complex as well as at work. Engine bay also had oil spilled by filter.Gave it a few days just to see if it would work itself out, month later still leaking, decided to call and see if they could take a look. Scheduled time off again, went and explained my issues again. Here is where communication is important. I mentioned I think it's dripping from the drain plug. Somehow that got misconstrued as me saying "it always leaks from the drain plug "Again, it's never leaked oil before. I could get video from my complex showing the oil spots accumulating literally after both visits. Literally the same day after the 2nd visit more oil spots. What sense would it make for me to say it leaks all the time just to turn around and say I think it's leaking due to your service performed inadequately? Took it into Subaru today, per Subaru (photo attached) The drain plug was installed without any gasket leading it to leak. Had the pleasure of paying for another oil change and filter and gasket. Total spent on amsoil, the 1st oil change and now 2nd oil change, over $220. Maybe the oil changes here haven't been on any Subarus but I definitely wouldn't bring a Subaru here. read more

My initial phone call was to Zon was about my vehicle having a misfire and changing out items pertaining to tune up and also burning a lot of oil. The result of my $90 diagnostic was that the intake manifold was full of debris and it needed an intake manifold, valve cover and gasket. Per her request, I made a list of the issues regarding the misfire leaking oil and OBD codes that were present. 17 days and almost $1,200 later, for a job that was quoted for only 3 hours, my car had the same issues, burning oil and misfire. I sent her pictures of the leaky valve cover gasket and told her I was having the same issues and was told by Christy to bring the car in. I work in Del Rio so I would have to leave the vehicle in the parking lot on Sunday for them so when I called and left a message that I would be doing that. The call took a bad direction when Zon began to say initially there was no mentioning of misfire codes only of leaking oil. She began to take a different direction by saying no mentioning of the misfires, which she blatantly lied. So that I could put more money into her pocket, if it was another misfire issue that means a separate task. I told her it had misfires prior to the work done because the oil was leaking into the spark plug chamber and it's doing so again. They did not fix my vehicle. I told her not to f*** with my money, she says don't get ghetto on me, I in turn said, "oh and you're so godly, you are a f****** thief"!! And of course she hung up. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS SHOP. And to top it off her husband couldn't even do a simple valve cover and gasket job. I will post this review on all the social platforms and have filed a complaint through BBB of San Antonio. Nothing is worse than a fake godly person. *UPDATE* I removed the valve cover and noticed 2 bolts were loose, oil seaping. When I went to place the valve cover back on, one of the two loose bolt holes was stripped, they over tighted the bolt and stripped it. Now, costly to get that fixed! So you all know what I'm dealing with. I will be taking them to small claims court. read more

I went for a routine inspection of my car and even though the GIRL inspected my car it was her Husbands signature and name as the inspector on my receipt. And because the lady who did my inspection said I called her a expletive word the husband went out and tried to fight me calling me the explain the dumb b**** anyway yea I was upset I mean who goes to the inspéction place and fails . Crazy, but true. The owner AND employee AND mechanic all came out to the parking lot next door to threaten me after I said I would write a review. Attached is picture of employee taking my car picture at store next door, wish I could share audio here, taped them berating and threatening me also. So, what happened to cause them to do this? I asked for auto maintenance and was told they couldn't work on it til later. I said fine and said I would leave it, and that's where it got weird. They said I couldn't leave the car (although LOTS OF CARS WERE THERE AND I'VE LEFT A CAR THERE BEFORE-I'd been there before with no problems). Anyways, I asked nicely again and when they said no, I said I would leave them a review and left. (FYI I used to work in auto repair and the nature of the business is multi-day visits of cars so their response made no sense at all). That's when the fun began. After I left and was telling my son at the store next door that I was finding a new place, the owner followed me to the shopping center next door to hassle me. I gather that they think that the chance of a customer writing a bad review means that they can follow and threaten me. One by one they came out to me and threatened me at my son's car. (See the pictures of one of them, the employee, taking pictures of my sons car. Notice the distinctive building color in the background of where she is standing. That is quite a ways from their shop and shows their aggressiveness. A few people noticed and also seemed alarmed like me. Anyways, I left, took my truck down the street to Firestone who of course allows vehicles to be left (what good mechanic doesn't?), and got it fixed by some professionals. Bottom line: I'd recommend you go to Firestone half a mile or so away and receive courteous and professional treatment. read more

I was picking up my father from this repair shop for a simple drop-off. I was parked in the parking lot next door. As my father approached me in my car to tell me the bad news (the shop wouldn't allow us to drop off the car, even after my father made it clear that we had no expectations on turn-around time) I see the OWNER chasing after my retired father verbally berating him. She had to chase him 35 ft away and even left her own property to chase after him. Her reasoning? To argue why she shouldn't 'get a bad review'. Don't you love irony? It actually gets worse---as my father and I are researching on google maps the next closest mechanic (we don't know a whole lot of other places around since we've been repeat customers at this shop) the mechanic and an office employee come out and continue to posture with threats of calling the police. At this point, because of the shouts of the mechanic getting louder and louder, closer and closer, I actually felt the need to EXIT my car and physically stand between the shouting mechanic and my father (keep in mind we're still off of their property, they're following us to the parking lot next door). Luckily, I'm a large male and my presence alone diffused the situation and the mechanic left. I couldn't imagine if I was a female or senior citizen! If you're anything like me, you know that in auto-repair, customer service goes a long ways. You will NOT get that here---in fact, there's a chance that you catch the owner on a bad day and are verbally berated, stalked/followed to your car and threatened like we were. I'm also witnessing the owner's responses on these review pages ---stunning behavior, but pretty demonstrative of what you can expect here. It's volatile and there's no place for this type of behavior in an industry that revolves around customer service. Avoid like the plague! read more

I've got an older Dodge, that I love, with his many faults. He's almost to 200k, and no signs of stopping anytime soon. I had some strange rough driving last month, so I took it in per a friend's recommendation, I live across town, but if they could fix his Ram (whole new engine, also an older truck), then surely they could help me with my old hoopty (2014). The ladies up front were super nice, even though they were both busy with a few customers inside, one was picking up, another doing a state inspection, and me and another were doing off our vehicles. I didn't have an appointment, she let me know that even though I wasn't expected, I was still very welcome. She explained they'd take care of their appointments first and then work me in, that she would call me later that day or the next to go over their findings. One of the ladies called me in the afternoon and explained they'd not been able to fully pinpoint what was going on, but they had a start, and sent me some photos. She explained they'd complete looking at my vehicle in the morning. That was awesome, I appreciated her updating me, even though they weren't done yet, after all.. I dropped it off on a Thursday morning with no appointment, just walked in early. The next morning, mid morning, one of the ladies called me again. They'd found out what was going on... Apparently I had some bad wiring (pics of where they tested the wiring before the bad spot 6in more down that wire setup) that was causing my fuel injectors to overheat and split open, and had been going on awhile... (pics of them splitting open and rusted, under my engine cover.. where I don't ever look..) Ummm... huge fire hazard.. oops. My poor car! Now I've been all over the country in this car, it's seen snow, sand, the usual San Antonio flooded streets, a squirrel or 3.. pecans in the engine... They also did an overall check on the rest of him and well, I'm ashamed to say that the roads here had taken a toll on his suspension. Which is why it's a wonky turn and not like his younger days. I asked how much this repair would be.. she was ready with the estimate for the injector thing for my rough running annnd she had a separate one ready for the suspension, too. I wasn't exactly devastated by the cost, but I'd also not done this type of repair before. You know, the normal battery, alternator, starter, tires, gaskets of whatever was leaking.. this was different.. a bigger issue than ever before. I love him, so I asked if I could call her back so I could check my bank. What I really did was call a few other shops and the dealer. Oooooh... I wanted to cry when I heard their prices and some couldn't get to me to fix it for a few days, one said 2 wks before they could even get me in. So I called her back around noon, my car was already there and their prices were way better than the other places I had called for quotes on what she said needed to be done. I decided I'd go ahead and do both, the injector thing and the suspension. I felt bad for neglecting him. She explained that since it was Friday and already past noon, it would depend on how fast they could get the parts there to fix him. I understood, again, no appointment and the end of the week! She called me back maybe an hour or two later and explained the suspension parts got there and were being done, but the injectors hadn't come in yet. I was hopeful, 2 days without my ride was tough, but an engine fire would be a lot worse for me. She called again like 4 almost, said the parts came in and they would like to have it done by 6 for me. Again, I was hopeful, they'd been up front and honest with me from the get go. They called again right before 6 to say it was done, tested and ready for pick up. I was thrilled and said it would take me 30mins to get there in traffic, she understood and said she'd be able to wait for me. HOW AWESOME! Most places have told me to pick up the next day.. I got there and they showed me what they did and went over the repairs again. For under 1k I got all 8 injectors and the busted suspension fixed. This was last month, my vehicle runs great and turns like butter now! Sure, it's a drive for me, but no where else have I experienced such kindness and honesty. I bought my friend dinner and drinks for the great recommendation. I urge you to check them out. They will be my new go to place for repairs. read more
