Out of about 15 coffee shops that me and my girlfriend have been to in Miami, Miam Café & Boutique has been our best experience. They are linked to Eternity Coffee and their coffee flavor is just to die for. We will be coming back here many more times. Also their Roast Beef sandwich was very delicious and the coffee cake we had with i believe was blackberry was insanely good. Keep it up guys. read more

I was visiting Wynwood for the first time with my friend and we stumbled upon this gem. I got the grilled cheese for lunch and it was delicious! I also got a latte and chocolate chip cookie for dessert... they were great too! The staff is super friendly, the barista even showed me how he made the fancy latte design with the foam when I asked. Miam is the equivalent to Yum in french and is defined as a place of simple, fresh, and natural food. Our breakfast was good, nothing special, but the place is clean, well lighted, and well decorated. We recommend it for a quick breakfast or lunch, also to work because it has less people and noise than Starbucks. Additionally, it offers beers and food from Florida and from other parts of the United States. read more

So I decided to give this place a try as it seemed like the perfect location in Wynwood for outside eating and good brunch. The interior design and set list makes for a very cool laid back vibe (play list including Solange, Lauryn Hill, and Adele = dope factor and the reason for the star). However, after ordering my food, I realized that I was being forced to tip BEFORE even experiencing the waiter/waitress who would be attending to my table. I tried to let this faux paus pass by, and just tipped 20%. After receiving my food, the waitresses (I had to bring my food) ask if I needed anything else from them. I proceeded to ask for the WiFi and water. One of the waitresses then proceeded to suggest that I could go and get the water from the dispenser myself (they don't provide water in a glass ). I then attempted to again, just let this snafu pass by, but then I decided to bite into the semi-warm french toast, which barely had any taste! Not only were the french toast bland, but so were my eggs and potatoes. Now, to top this suboptimal meal off, I also only attended to by one of the waitresses a SECOND time during my 45 min stay, NOT to ask if I needed more water (my plastic water cup blew away by the wind by this time), NOT to ask if I needed anything else, NOT to offer another napkin, but to ONLY remove one of my plates. She BARELY interacted with me...didn't even say "have a good day"....."thank you for stopping by." N-O-T-H-I-N-G! Like how sway?! Overall, this is one the worst brunch locations, I have ever visited. Food is good but the service BLOWS! Had to get up and ask to have the table cleaned, one of the staff watched me struggle to open the door with my hands full and instead of helping me said " oh thanks! " and walked through door behind me to get through. Seriously! Got my food before my coffee and had to get up and go get my coffee because I could see it sitting at the coffee bar. This is my first Yelp review, and I am sorry to report that I was not pleased with the Miam Café. I love supporting local businesses, especially ones who promote organic and locally sourced ingredients. Kudos to Miam Café for this. However, the organic sausage they served me was RAW. It was cooked on the outside, but cold and bloody raw in the middle. Health violation number one. I took the plate to the manager, who apologized, then handed my plate back to the kitchen staff. He offered me a free croissant while I waited for them to fix the order. When the order came back to my plate, there was the SAME sausage that I had half eaten that the cooks threw back on the grill. I can't believe that a pricey restaurant such as this in trendy Wynwood would do such a ghetto thing. It made me question what else is going on in the kitchen there. Miam Café, not so pleased with 1) being served raw pork and 2) seeing that your cleanliness standards are in question. Hope you improve because I really do like the idea of an organic/local restaurant. Sorry to post a one star but this time you deserve it. read more

I went in the other day to order a turkey cobb salad. I paid and left a tip. When I asked this lady for water she said I had to get it myself, which is fine, but there were no cups. When I asked her for cups she told me to wait a few minutes. So I sat down and waited for my salad. When it arrived I asked if I could trouble the lady for a glass of water. She told me again I had to help myself. I walked to the jug and noticed that there was no water. So i told the lady again that there's no water and she told me to wait again. She brings a pitcher of water and instead of filling a glass for me she beings to put it in the jug. So I had to sit down again while she was filling the jug. It would've been nice if she finally came with a glass of water since I tipped her and for all the trouble, but she didn't. I had to get up 3 times just to get a glass of water. Also, when you finally are able to procure a glass of water you're gonna have to get up a few times again to refill it as the glass is only about 4oz. When I finally had a chance to take a bite of my salad it was so soggy from the copious amounts of vinegar that they used and also because the whole water ordeal took about 10 minutes. read more

(Yes, this place is in the black and white striped building.) I went yesterday with my boyfriend for the first time and the ambiance of this cafe was relaxed and everyone is doing their own thing. I had some questions about the menu and and the cashier was extremely helpful and friendly. The food came out quick and it was all fresh. I enjoyed my meal I kept saying "wow this was amazing" the onnnnly thing is that it's a little pricey. Mine and my boyfriends breakfast with two iced coffees came out to $36 but it's honestly worth it.. Amazing. I will be returning to MIAM in Wynwood. read more

I am a breakfast fanatic so last Saturday, instead of going to my favorite breakfast places in Miami I decided to GOOGLE a new place. Miam came out... As soon as I walked to the counter (because they don't seat you) I was received by a light hair woman who looked like she wanted to die that same day. Evidently angry and uncomfortable with the couple of questions I had about the menu. She continued pointing her finger to the board for me to read or to see the already faded samples they had outside. I end up ordering a cappuccino, a club sandwich and an a bottle orange juice. Upon my order she said my total was $32.37. I paid, she didn't give me a receipt which I found unusual. After 15 minutes of wait I had a second thought I had paid too much for breakfast in Wyndwood so I went to a guy who was french speaker (to me he look like he could be either a manager or owner) and I asked for my receipt. I AM SO GLAD I DID!!! THEY HAD ADDED TWO OTHER ITEMS TO MY BILL for a total of an additional $13.38. I went to the same guy, I explained I didn't order those two items and he sounded like that was not a bid deal that he will give me a refund for those two items. So he brought a receipt back with -$13.38 ... I am still awaiting for the refund. I hope you avoid going through a similar experience. These people have no shame and no customer ethic. read more

We were obviously tourists in a local hangout, but they didn't treat us any differently. Miam was courteous and reasonably priced considering we were from Chicago where everything is over priced. They had pretty high reviews on Yelp, so we decided to give them a try while we were in Miami for the day visiting the Wynwood Walls. It was a very short walk from the walls to Miam. Two of us opted for the grilled cheese, which was delicious and so were the chips. The other one of us opted for the veggie burrito, which had super fluffy eggs. Only downside (and why they were a 4 instead of a 5) is because the woman at the counter asked if my sister wanted avocado on her burrito and told her it was an extra charge. My sister didn't mind at all and was excited to try it. However, after eating about 1/4 of the burrito, she realized there ended up being no avocado in the sandwich after all. We were in a rush since only there one day, so we didn't have time to have them re-make the burrito. So basically one of us will paid for something extra that wasn't on the food that we received. Other than that, I highly recommend it. They had fresh pastries and what looked and tasted like fresh lemonade. I'd definitely stop here again. read more

We've been to Miam Cafe three times. While the food and service are underwhelming it was still a decent place to meet so we went back. This past weekend we decided to go back and bring our 3.5 year old. When we go there they were just opening and the place was empty. It filled up a little while we were there but was by no means full and plenty of open seating. While finishing our breakfast we allowed our daughter to walk about the cafe exploring while keeping a close eye on her. During this time the staff couldn't have looked more annoyed. I guess bringing a toddler to Wynwood amongst hipsters who think they're too cool isn't ok. Anyway, at one point my daughter was playing over by the couch area which has pillows with slip covers and one was dropped on the floor at which time one of the staff members came over and rudely and condescendingly said to me, "this couch is for sitting" as if, I an adult didn't know this. By this time I had already corrected or daughter and she had picked up the pillow. While I understand protecting your space it's important to not demean a customer and reprimand their child over something so trivial as a pillow with a slip cover on it (you can wash those if need be and should on a regular basis). Needless to say the too cool for school staff, mediocre food and lack of friendliness and tact toward my family and I will be a good reminder not to go back. Along with a total lack of etiquette toward their customers whether big or small. read more
