Tried to take my family here for lunch, as I'd been here several times by myself. I'm white, and my family is multiracial. I've never had an issue when I came here alone. Through his body language, his dirty looks, and his lack of providing even a menu, while cheerfully helping every other customer, the man behind the counter gave my wife a clear vibe she had experienced many times before as a black woman- that she wasn't welcome. We knew we had to find another restaurant to get lunch. My 2 year old daughter was hungry, but we had to leave while she cried and screamed that she wanted lunch. This man was the first to hurt my 2 year old biracial daughter with his racism. Sadly, it won't be the last time, but that doesn't make it any less shameful. I'll never return here, and I advise anyone else with a conscience not to either. read more

I ordered twice from them in one week and had problems with both orders, one order did not have all the items ordered included, and the other time a chicken platter had less than half it's usual portion of chicken. I called and asked for a manager and asked if he could do anything on my next order I was about to make. He told me " we can make sure your order is right this time." Is there a zero star option? SO disappointed with my experience today at Miami Squeeze. Went to grab 2 juices and a wrap to go, we ordered, waited literally 42min. When asked (repeatedly) about my order they were just laughing, making jokes between them and didn't rush at all to have my order ready. I finally told the lady to cancel my order and said I needed to waiT for the manager, he never came and we jusT left. This is not my first time here, I've ordered and tried their food before which is not bad. Just make sure that if you come you have at least 1H to wait for your order, and deal with really poor customer service. read more

This place used to be pretty good. It used to have the best turkey wrap in town. Went by today and ordered one only to find out they cheaped out and switched to ground turkey. Still haven't gotten the taste out of my mouth. You're better off getting a wrap at Publix. Can't recommend this place to anyone in good conscience. Thanks to Rob G. who suggested this place for those always in search for great falafel. So I came here to try the falafel but stayed for the array of items on the menu to satisfy everyone's palette. Smoothies, veggie burgers, salads, wraps, and more. It's a very casual place to grab or pick up a bite (Think sandwicherie with more seating). Now, if you require AC to dine this is not the place for you. This whole operation is outdoors, yes it is protected from the elements and there are fans but it gets hot in the 305. I have tried the falafel and veggie burger and enjoyed both. Whenever I am in the area and in the mood for some healthier options and generous portions I come here. Been coming here off and on but recently Ubereats the grilled chicken wrap and let me say the chicken wasn't that microwaved pre made stuff this was a grilled breast season and cooked perfectly! The wrap came with a chili oil which was not needed, the wrap was delicious and fulfilling. Also my go to drinks are the mint lemonade and the vitamin c, they press all the juice in house! I don't even know if you can call it that. It was so watery it felt like I was drinking crunchy soup. I usually order the spicy salmon platter but this time I decided to order the grilled snapper wrap. They gave me chicken. 4 small pieces of chicken with a bunch of veggies stuffed inside. I ordered takeout and picked it up right when they said it would be ready. When I opened the wrap it fell apart. Wrap was soggy. Side sauces were all over the bag. Not closed correctly. Idk. There's shade, fans and misters. They literally have everything you could want. Wraps, sandwiches, paninis, juices, smoothies, even lunch specials. The juices may seem a little expensive but that's about the average for fresh juices. Speaking of juices you can get everything from detox, liquid salad , to even an energy juice. Convenient service and fast at the counter. You can grab and go pretty quick. Or have a seat in the back where it's a bit more shady in the afternoon. Just don't get freaked out if a train comes by. Don't be fooled by the looks of this place. The outside looks extremely modest but the falafel salad I had blew my socks off! I can't wait to come back to try more items. I'm shockingly impressed. I would have never assumed this place would be so Great. I drove by this place a number of times and I only noticed it because I love smoothies and fresh juices and their building sign reads 'juice bar' - and their building is lime green (kinda hard to miss). I've been curious for some time but I finally went in because I was in the neighborhood and looking to eat healthy and light, I had been thinking of trying a smoothie. However, after looking at the menu and my fellow Yelper photos so many items caught my attention. I felt compelled to try something. I'm so glad I did. I've gotten a takeout from this spot. It seemed very busy on a Saturday afternoon. All the food I got was delicious: the falafel pita was good (not great, but food), lentil soup was amazing; sweet potato fries - very fresh. The best part was the sauces! When i say i love the food here i absolutely love it I come here so often. I always have rewards to redeem because i spend so much. However my experience today has cause me to never want to return and I won't. Every other order i have a issue with instructions not being followed and i just let it be because i realize once i get home. Today i decided to do a Uber eats order ( i normally call over the phone place my order and pick it up) After placing it I called the restaurant to make sure my order is done properly since I know sometimes no one pays attention to the add ons/notes. I called the restaurant immediately due to this explained my issues and highlighted that the day prior I had a similar issue where I was given the incorrect sauces which was weird to me because when I picked up my order that day I was reassured my sauces were in my bag but today I was told the "oh they ran out of those sauces the other day" Why in the world would you tell me to my face my sauces are in my bag knowing you ran out. That's terrible. As for today I was so dissatisfied with the food I receive i said have to go to the restaurant and have it rectified and i informed the employee over the phone of this. When i got there i explained the issue very nicely and calmly and items that were missing. I originally requested it be placed on the side for example the extra avocado instead of remaking my wraps entirely and the sauces that weren't there just replace it. I had to explain my self several times and go back and forth with the employee there and all he would do is keep telling me the food was made correctly without even checking it and the correction I requested was so simple him doing this just made me irate and i explained to him again i checked both my wraps you've yet to check anything or even consult with the chef he then begins to open my food leaving it open for flys which he allowed to just land on my food several time then says the food is fine and proceeds to hand it back to me.(mind you these are wraps he took the lid off the container and did nothing else the only thing he could see is the outside of the wrap and the fries next to it ) I told him absolutely not there's no way I'm eating that now you have to remake it or you just give me a refund the man stared me down said he don't know what to tell me and shrugged me off and proceeded to assist other people. At that point I no longer was talking nice. It took for me to talk to him terribly for me to get some kind of willingness to assist. It was the absolutely worse customer service I've ever experienced i didn't even tell you how he told me who's fault was that when the flys got on my food i literally got delirious because i know i just watched him open my food and leave it sitting for flys to land on it. ....again the food is great but not worth the customer service read more

After coming across Fritty's review on the "What's Hot on Yelp" section of the iPhone app, I remembered that we've never been here despite living approximately a mile or two from its location. We pulled up around noonish to find the entire outside bar seating taken, and took up a bench in the front part of the restaurant. Although it was a typical hot and sticky afternoon, thankfully there were mist fans in full effect to help cool us off. We weren't planning on eating anything, but rather stopped in for a drink to cool us off. The menu is pretty extensive with a lot of choices for smoothies and custom juices (Jamba who?) but considering I had yet to have any caffeine, I opted for the Bananachino. It tasted exactly what one would assume; iced cappuccino with the added flavor and thickness of banana blended in. Yum! My boyfriend ordered the Raspberry Lemonade (freshly squeezed lemons, raspberries, and pineapple juices) but wasn't much of a fan. I took one sip and was in love. He isn't much of a fruit juice drinker, but if you love fruity concoctions that'll kick your taste buds into full gear, I recommend trying it out. Even though our first stop at the Big Squeeze was a short one, the service was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back to try the food. For those looking for a good breakfast deal, they were offering: 2 eggs any style, turkey sausage, toast, and coffee for just $4.99! Though, I have a feeling the falafel is the route I'll be taking during our next visit. I'm taking a star off their rating for a very good reason. ***PLEASE BE AWARE*** they put honey in ALL of their smoothies automatically. They DO NOT list this anywhere on the menu. Absolutely not okay. You pride yourselves on a wide vegan selection, then sneak in an animal derived product into literally a third of your menu? Why?! Does this also mean there is honey in your vegan dressings? Had I not happened to see the person making my drink, I never would have known this and it would have never been brought to my attention. Vegans, diabetics, or anyone who may have a food allergy be aware they do not list all their ingredients on the menu, always ask first! This is my go-to "treat yourself" spot. It's located on West Dixie Highway in Aventura, just after the railroad tracks. This can be occasionally disruptive when the train passes by, but almost everyday you'll see people milling about, parking on the tiny unofficial strip next to the restaurant that constitutes "parking" just because the food is that fresh and that good! This time around I ordered the Squeezed Wrap, a deliciously fluffly scrambled egg mixed with cheese, tomatoes, avocado, and pesto--all stuffed inside of a whole wheat wrap. The only bad thing about this restaurant is that they can take forever to bring your food. The wait is worth it, but still, it can be frustrating. However my wrap came with all of this, plus an israeli salad for just $9 (before tax and tip)! Their water is infused with lemon and herbs (I'm not sure if thyme or rosemary), so you get some really refreshing complimentary drinks right from the start. Their smoothies are out of this world and about $6 for the regular size. It's not the cheapest, but the food is fantastic and decently priced. read more
