Just had a baby and wanted a super clean car to bring him home in. I decided to go to Miamis on PCH in Torrance. First of all cashier was not the nicest and hated her job. Secondly paid extra for the mats to get shampooed. They looked ok till I noticed they just pulled them out without unsecuring the tabs that hold them in place. I had a handfull of leaves still by the windshield wipers and only half the windshield was done. The easiest thing wasn't even done.....The air freshener. So for $30 and 1 hour and 45 mins I got a half of a car wash and at least $20.00 worth of damage and got to watch the guys standing around tickling each other while I sat there and waited. This is my first 1 star review. If I hadn't been awake for 3 days already I would've have tried to get my money back. But I will make sure all of my fellow San Pedrans know how I was treated. The details they do here are pretty good, and it seems to me, unlike most of the reviewers here, that they take their sweet time. Sometimes they take just a bit TOO long. I go here because my car is extremely low and cannot clear a standard car wash track. I typically get a polish and wax once a month, and my car looks great after. The service here is pretty poor, at best. There is one cashier who is absolutely terrible, and treats you with such disdain that you feel like never returning. But alas, I haven't got much of a choice because of my car. If their service was just a bit better I'm sure they'd receive a much better score. read more

I'm so glad they are under new ownership. I have taken my car here for 10 years and over the last 8 months the line has been around the corner no matter the day or time. I stoped going, As I don't want to spend 1-2 hours getting my car washed. Yesterday i drove by and noticed they had a normal line for 10 am on a Monday. I was in and out in 30 minutes and my car looks shiny and clean. I love the non car wash feel of the waiting room, it's cozy and friendly. I took my Mercedes S550 here about 3 months ago, after the wash was completed about 5.30pm I was the last personae there, my car wasn't going to the Drive mode ore R mode, (it wasn't shifting the gear) after trying so much, with their last two guys left it still didn't work the computer locked the car from being able to shift to drive. So this two guys show me how to open the chain gate and left me all alone there and left. With a help of a mechanic we got the car to shift gear about 9pm that same night. (cost me $250.00) I have been to other car washes after and it's always works just fine and never see this problem again. After 3 months I decided to go there again today 09/30/15 same thing happened again, everyone left I am stock there again, my mechanic came again I only paid $150.00 this time because he fills bad and now he showed me after what causes this problem with Mercedes S550, if the driver is rushing and punting the car in "P" Park mode whiteout waiting for the car to come to complete STOP this problem can happen. He demonstrated to me that this is how it get's locked and he presses the "P" when the car was still in motion and it happened again. So this car wash driver don't care that he can be damaging someones car and parks the car when it's still moving. I believe the manager will have something to say about this, please massage me. If someone get's stock in my "business" or "property" I will make sure that this persons problem is solved even if I need to stay there with the person 24 hours. read more

This place has gone down hill. On a Wednesday I arrived at 9:30. Took 50 minutes just to get to the vacuum area to start the wash- then another 45 minutes to wash and dry. Over and hour and a half for a basic wash/ will not be returning. read more

Came on a Sunday morning n it was nice not having 15 cars in front of you. They did a wonderful job cleaning the outside n inside of the car!!! Waiting area offers things to snack on, magazines, I think it was direct tv to watch sports n a wide variety of air fresheners to buy. Since they changed management or ownership they have gone downhill. I wanted a quick, cheapest wash there and guy told me I needed the most expensive wash to get the" orange spots" off my car. Oh you mean the pollen that always comes off with the basic wash? They were pretty busy and I'm sure they only wanted to make it worth their while for the most expensive wash. I have been coming here over 20 years, an never had a problem using my gift cards that were bought here. Now that there is a new owner, he is not accepting the gift cards that were from Miami's. He is not the only person that has own this place, there have been other owners in the pass 20yrs, an they had no problem accepting the gift cards. I have been here many times, and the wait is always over an hour. As long as you can grab one of the soft chairs, have a device like an iPad, and access to Wi-Fi, you can pass the time by surfing the web or doing work, so the wait really isn't that bad. The wash is not perfect, but it is ALL hand washed and definitely above average. And at $15.00 for the basic wash it's reasonably priced and good in a pinch. I normally set-up a mobile car wash service to come to my office for our employees once a month, so in-between I'll come here. My issue is w/their rewards program. The second time I tried to use the rewards program, (it is connected to your phone number) I gave her my phone number and she said, your phone number is not on file. Which means they originally entered my phone number incorrectly the first time. But she did offer, if I still had my receipt, I could bring it in and she would give me credit for the previous car wash. The last time I was there, they said the rewards program system was down. However the computers were up - label me confused. So I asked her, (thinking it would be the same deal as the first time) do I just keep this receipt and the next time I come in, you'll just add this wash to my account? We are very happy with the detailing job and the service. The trunk of the car had some paint that was spilled a few months back, and when we went to pick up the car, the manager explained that they needed a bit more time to completely remove the paint. Vincent was professional, knowledgeable about the detailing process, and he has excellent customer service. Since we took an Uber to pick up the car, Vincent offered to drive us to where we needed to be and got us there safely. I would highly recommend this place. read more

Found this place by coincidence. Fair price, $15 for a solid wash, they vacuum, they clean inside and out. All the other car washes in the area charge $20-$25 for a simple car wash. I really like the fact that they hand wash your car unlike the other car washes that run your car through a machine and seem to scratch the car as they wash it. My wife scratched the corner of our front bumper on our new car before we even got the plates for it. This car wash noticed the scratch and buffed it out with wax for FREE!!! 95% of the scratch came off! They have free tea, free coffee and free donuts. They have found a loyal customer with me. read more

I came here all the time for a car wash since i got my car, but since the ownership has changed, my car hasn't been getting cleaned as it used to. I paid $50 for a top of the line car wash and my car mats weren't even cleaned. Also specks of dirt was left on my windows. This car wash is starting to disappoint me. Super friendly, super professional. Didn't upsell me on the wash, as a matter of fact, told me I didn't need the more expensive interior cleaning after the employee inspected my car. I'll take an honest employee and spend a little more if necessary. Place is clean and comfortable with couches, chairs, tables to nosh or do work while you wait. My only beef is the entrance is on Hillworth and you can't see an entrance sign until you pass it. That can easily be fixed with an arrow and the word entrance pointing you on the marquee. Wash was done well. They took their time and cleaned thoroughly, even under the hood. If I lived in the area I would definitely be back. read more

This is one of the better car washes I've been to. And the prices aren't too shabby either. I usually get the CEO wash, which for the price (less than $30) is pretty good considering it's pretty much a mini detail. The first time I came in, I had melted chocolate in my cupholder (my niece had left it there and put her drink on top, so at the end of the day, there was gooey chocolate that I was sure was going to be impossible to remove). I was pleasantly surprised that they had removed every single bit of it. The dash and doors were nicely dressed, wheels bright and shiny, along with the rest of the exterior. The quality of the washes that I've purchased here are pretty top notch, but the guy/gal at the register need a major happy pill. It's like they hate their life. Each time I get to the register, there's an undertone of attitude and disdain. Whatever. Luckily I'm here for the washes, not to be their best friends. Besides, the guys that work on my car are 10 times more charming and seem to appreciate the business more. 5 stars for quality, but minus one for the melancholy folks behind the counter. read more

Yesterday, Monday April 5th, at 2:30, I brought my Infiniti in for a wash, the $20.00 wash. The cars ahead to be washed was just 4, perfect timing on my part. The wash was done and the vacuum was complete. However, the best part was the man who dried the car. He took such good care of my car. The car was dried, the windows were spotless, the tire rims were cleaned, etc. I watched him. He took care of my car like it was his own. I tipped him nicely, and really appreciated the care he gave my car. Hope I can get him when I bring the van in and the other car. He is a keeper. Thanks Miami. read more

I decided to take my car in for a good wash and detailing. I've had my car for almost a year and I've never done anything over the top to it. Always just took it in for a regular wash and cleaned the inside myself. I payed for the platinum package. When I got my car back from Miami's employees, the floor to mt car was still a mess, I still had little leaves and dog hair on the floor mats and I had a soy sauce packet in between my seat. STAY AWAY from this place! We've been going here for years and we were always satisfied. They are under new management and this place has gone downhill fast. No longer will we come here after the terrible "wash job". The car was absolutely filthy and after they attempted to dry the dirty car, they scratched the hell out of the paint. Now I'm going to have to take somewhere else to get the scratches buffed out. I pointed out my disappointment to the manager and he offered one excuse after another and took no responsibility for the crappy job they did. I hate taking my cars to a car wash, since I believe I do a 10 times a better job detailing my car. But I have to admit that when I don't have time to wash the car, Miami Auto Spa is the place I go. I remember when this place first opened. They had very few patronizing customers. The last several months, it seems like their customer base has exploded. I can see why, their car wash service is significantly better than their competitors. Keep in mind that not all car wash's are perfect and if you are a perfectionist like me, there will always be something to nit pick. But I have to say this is the closest I find comparable to washing a car myself. If you are looking to get your car washed here, I would get my car washed Monday thru Thursday since Friday, Saturday, Sunday are their most busiest days. read more

Let me start by saying that my car was extremely filthy on the outside. With the California fires that are going on, my car was completely covered by ashes plus I had been parked under a tree so I did have some tree sap all over the exterior of my car. I fully understand that the tree sap would not be completely gone unless they did a clay job, so I did NOT have wild expectations for that part of the wash. However, the inside of my car always remains pretty clean because I maintain it. So it's almost as if they did not even touch the inside. Maybe a slight towel over everything but nothing that would show much effort. The windows still had finger prints and dirt on them. The side view mirrors gave me the Impression that a quick towel was brushed over them, leaving them foggy and streaky. Honestly, I wash my car by hand a lot and without the resources that they have, I can do a much better job. Idk if it's laziness on the one worker who washed my car or just how this car wash is ran, but not really worth the $35 option. read more

HANDS DOWN BEST CAR WASH IN SOUTH BAY!!!! they close at 6, i pulled in my car at 5:45.. and they STILLLL took my car. i've been bringing my car here for about a year now, and they have NEVER disappointed! the staff is amazingly friendly, and they do a GREAT job. my dad suggested them to me because he brings his truck and lexus here, and i've brought both my civic and my accord here and I couldnt be happier with the results. a HUGEEEEE thank you to the staff here because not only do they do an amazing job but they make the experience even better by their friendly attitudes, and their personalities!(: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
