We had lunch at Mia's and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. We placed our order at 1:52 PM and didn't receive our main dishes until 2:53 PM, nearly an hour later. The Chicken Piccata was swimming in oil, with a large pool of oil left in the bottom of the dish (see photo). Our vegetable pizza was also burnt on the bottom. The only item that came out quickly was the pork ribs, and our server explained they had been prepared for another table that left after waiting too long. While our server was friendly and did her best, the long wait and poor food quality made the overall experience very disappointing. We hope the restaurant can improve its kitchen timing and consistency.

    Margarita pizza 18"

Road side route 108, just minutes away from Pinecrest! Wednesday night Margherita pizza 18" - gourmet pizza with arugula greens! A few slices left over for dinner after cleaning up from camping

4 stars for the food - we got a large salad, the Brussels spouts, minestrone and two pizzas. The pizzas were very flavorful - we got the Margherita and a butternut squash special - and I'd recommend. The starters were good, I wouldn't recommend the minestrone. 2.5 stars for the service - our waitress was very nice but the service for our two pizzas took over an hour. They did say they had to make roast the butternut squash because they ran out but it was just a really long wait and not helpful for a group of young hungry kids and their exhausted parents! My husbands beer also exploded upon opening, as if he shook it - we know it's the altitude but still. I was a little irked by the owner or manager who seemed to want to pour the remainder of that beer (she couldn't when it was all foam) before finally just opening a new can, and who didn't apologize or acknowledge the long wait when I had to go check on our order. Overall it's nice ambiance - family friendly, convenient location off the freeway if you're coming back from Dodge Ridge or Pinecrest - good food and reasonably priced. But food took way too long.

    Steak Sandwich with Fries

Best steak sandwich with crispy fries and New York strip-slightly over cooked, but still so tender. This place never lets us down. The wait can be crazy because they are so popular, but hey! Good Food is worth the wait. We went in between lunch crowd and dinner rush and the wait was minimal. Would highly recommend mid day if you aren't into waiting. The decor is beautifully done and always changing.

Even though the restaurant wasn't busy, the food took way too long to come out. We only ordered a pizza, a green salad and minestrone, but it took over an hour to be served. We asked several times and even tried to cancel, but the server just kept saying it was 'almost ready' without giving us a clear answer. I understand it might've been a kitchen issue, but there was no apology, which was really disappointing. By the time our food finally arrived, we were already full from our drinks and had lost our appetite. We really wanted to enjoy it fresh, but ended up taking it to go instead. Not sure why it took so long, especially since the restaurant wasn't even busy. Cute spot with good flavor, but I don't think I'll be back.

We arrive early around 12:30 and it was the perfect timing for us. The service was great, but this young lady was the only one on duty. So she was running from to table. I felt for her and then someone pop out and was helping. I was there with my friend for my very late birthday celebration. My birthday is December 23 and too much snow for us to come up. The food was good- I share pictures of my food.

We had a great experience at Mia's Brick Oven Pizza & Specialties while passing through Cold Springs on our way back from Pinecrest. The setting is cozy and relaxing, with friendly, helpful staff who made excellent suggestions as we placed our order. We shared several dishes among four of us. The Brussels sprouts were a bit overcooked for my liking, but the aioli dipping sauce more than made up for it--packed with flavor and absolutely addictive. The beet salad was light, refreshing, and the goat cheese added the perfect touch of creaminess. That said, the portion size was smaller than expected. Now the pizzas--wow. We tried three and each one had its own charm. The 12" Mia's Margherita on cauliflower crust was a nice surprise (gluten-free option was appreciated), and the 18" Big Louie was hearty and satisfying. But the standout for me was the 12" Chicken & Garlic--bold flavors, perfectly cooked toppings, and the crust... I usually skip pizza crust, but this one was so good I ate every bite. Would definitely return for the food and service. The credit card surcharge was noted clearly on the receipt, so no surprises there. Overall, a great stop for anyone looking for tasty, thoughtfully prepared food in a welcoming atmosphere.

Tonight was packed! Service was great. More importantly- the bone in pork chop was a HOME RUN!

I was super excited to see that they offer hot food so it was a huge disappointment to order a cheeseburger and later realize that they undercooked it without letting me know in advance or giving me an option for them to cook it longer. Not everyone likes pink or in my case extremely pink barely cooked hamburger. I could have handled a little pink (even if I don't prefer it), but my burger ended up getting thrown away after 2 bites because I was grossed out how undercooked it was, and I didn't have a way to finish cooking it myself. I understand that it takes a while to cook everyone's food and I was more than willing to wait so I don't understand why the staff felt the need to rush and feed undercooked meat to customers. I definitely won't order a burger from there again because I don't feel that the customer should have to tell a business what proper cooked hamburger meat is, and they also have no warnings anywhere that their meat is undercooked. If they even read these reviews, according to Google, "consuming undercooked ground beef can harbor bacteria like E. coli, Salmonella, and Campylobacter, which can cause foodborne illnesses (food poisoning)." Hopefully whoever has their food handling license and is cooking the food understands the risks they are putting their customers through.
